Old small room with curtain shower. No clock in the room. Very small TV set inconveniently located within the room. Room service tray was left outside the door and stayed there for 2 days. Had to wait for 45 minutes to get a drink on the bar terrace. There is a charge of 7 euros for a beach lounge on the beach. Wake up call to go to the airport was […] never received. Rental car was damaged in the hotel parking lot (smashed rear window) possibly from something that fell from the tall tree towering above the outside parking lot on the hotel grounds. Parking stalls in the underground garage are ridiculously small. Food in the hotel is expensive. Location of the hotel is superb and breakfast buffet was above average. Read more

The hotel was lovely. Very outdated and showed its age, however, it was clean and well maintained. Several of the front desk staff were not friendly, however, that would not keep me from going back. We had booked a basic room and thought anything would be fine for the limitied amount of time we spent in our room. We got to our room 225 and pulled back the curtains only to find a lot of curtains and a very tiny window. Worse was that the window had fixed shutters across them which were not able to be opened. The net effect was a very dark almost […] windowless room. I went to front desk and they 'upgraded" to a room which had a side view of the sea and patio which was fine. The hotel was very nice and so were the rooms. The elevators are not air conditioned so it's hard to breathe in them when crowded. I was disappointed that I had paid for a front ocean view room and obtained a lateral ocean view. Breakfast was excellent.

Solid 4 star hotel, our room was super clean and cute. Great location to the beach and lots of restaurants. I would stay there again if in the area. Only complaint is the 2 twin beds pushed together are uncomfortable but I know in Europe that is pretty common offering.

Hola! Yes, we enjoyed our El Fuente Marbella stay BUT wow is Costa Del Sol crowded at the end of July and 1st week of August! We were really happy with our choice - great location, pools, etc. The breakfast buffet was especially great - huge selection complete with someone to cook you eggs or crepes, a chocolate fountain, and champaign as well as the regular breakfast selection. We would definitely stay again.

Very good value, nice and well located hotel. I initially got a very small and noisy room on the first floor, but subsequently moved to a good size and quiet room on the upper floor. The lobby and restaurant (especially at breakfast time) can get somewhat busy with many golf tour groups. Friendly and efficient staff.

Bottles were dumped and lids banged shut around the clock of the 7 dumpsters adjacent to the west end of the hotel. The Fuente is located on the beach in central Marbella. It is an extremely wonderful hotel. Everything was very excellent, including the Flamenco show. Beware that drink prices are outrageous, but then there is no cover for the show.

This hotel is in an ideal location, especially if you are travelling alone. For a person alone I would have loved a balcony, but not sure if single rooms have them. The space is a bit tight round the swimming pools and I think the price of the sun loungers on the beach is too expensive and ideally you shouldn't have to pay for them. Have been returning to this hotel for nearly ten years. Its location is perfect -on the beach and close to Orange Square. It is old and dated but that is part of its charm. Disappointed this year to find that the bean counters had been at work since we were last there a couple of years ago. They had got rid of the towel lady and most of the porters/ […] car parking staff and introduced a 12 euro a day charge for parking the car. The views of the sea were lovely and we ate in the restaurant one evening and found the food good (but not exceptional). Breakfasts were the same selection everyday but plenty of choice.
