The room we were given was located next to a maintenance room. There were several times during our stay that we were awakened by staff members accessing the area. We were offered an apology and free breakfast when we inquired about the area, but we already had arrangements elsewhere.

The hotel is hit and miss. We spent four nights there this past week. On one day, our room was never made up. When we called the desk about it, the response was, "Okay." Also, while we were there, a kids' baseball tournament was going on, and lots of the families were staying at the Marriott. I completely understand that the hotel management can't control […] everything, but I'm somewhat "old school" in my expectations that the management can control SOME things. It always irritates me when it's left to other customers to do the "policing." We had kids running up and down our hallway, banging on doors; they were running through the lobby; they were tossing fruit from the pool up at ledges. At some point, I expect management to say, "Enough is enough." On top of it all, our room never seemed to completely cool off; we kept the thermostat on 65, but there's no way it was ever even close to that cool in the room. On the flip side, the desk is very helpful in respect to offering directions, the use of the shuttle, and so on. I guess I would say that these are good folks running the show, but they aren't very proactive in heading off problems. Read more

Very nice place to stay if you don't want/need to stay on the beach. Easy access to everything. The hotel is located between the two major thru routes and is pretty much on the main beach access route. Very clean, budget friendly, and quiet.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was very pleasant. It was easy to find and centrally located to downtown. The Gardens Mall is minutes away and much like the Mall of the Millennial in Orlando.

A/C never got cold although we had it checked twice and they said it was fixed. Staff was nice except for one person when checking us in handed us key and said have a nice stay walked away, did not know where elevator was where room was etc.

The hotel has potential, the housekeeper slammed the doors every am., Was put on Congeries level and it was closed for the weekend. No newspapers on the weekends! The rooms were great and the service was good everyone was very helpful. The only bad thing was the pool area needs improvement. The hot tub was not clean or hot and the pool needed some work. Everything was great otherwise, I would stay there again we stayed for two nights.

I'm originally from PBG, and stayed at the Marriott right after the holidays to visit with my close friends for a few days. My stay was very pleasant. I stayed in a very clean and up to date, standard room with a king size bed. Every employee I came in contact with said hello first and was very friendly.
