Very nice hotel, nicely decoratedGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The first room was really noisy with a 'humming' noise. The front desk had no problem giving us another suite. Apparently it was some compressor noise...Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Casino & train station is walking close."
Hotel has a train theme decor, which is because there is a train station next door. For those who said they here the train at night, I hardly ever heard it. You can take the train into downtown Chicago ($13.00 round trip), which is about an hour to get there. The train runs until late (I think about 1:00 am), so you can take in into Chicago & do allot […] of looking around & be back before then. The casino is walking distance from the hotel. I really didn't eat at the hotel for breakfast, because there is a good place across the street called Jakes Bagel & Deli. Room was nice & hotel had that comfort feel. There is a good place to eat dinner just next door called Roundhouse. It used to be an old train station that turns the trains around to face the other direction. Asked for a specific type of room and was accommodated. Loved the shop in the lobby. Pool and hot tub great. Prices for all hotels have gone crazy though in past few years. I just want to sleep in the bed, not buy it!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I had a room next to the the railroad track and found it annoying with trains passing by while trying to sleep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not Very Close to the Mall"
The hotel was great, semi close to a rough neighborhood.. not super rough but slightly. Hotels.com made it seem very close to the mall (Chicago Premium Outlet) but was still about 5 miles which isnt bad but it just wasn't as close as we thought. The bathroom was slightly dirty, mainly the shower floor and bathroom floor.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Good room for the money. Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable, location was convenient. Close to the train but didn't notice the noise at all. Overall, no complaints.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Comfort Suites in Aurora"
The accommodations were very comfortable overall. The hotel was conveniently located to the training I was attending. My only disappointment was with the fitness center. It consisted only of one treadmill, one elliptical and one bike and one small weight type machine. However, I would definitely go back if sent to Aurora for further training.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very good location. Nice theme. Well-maintained property. Want to recognize the excellent staff, especially the night receptionist (10 Nov @8:30PM). Very nice, friendly, and helpful. Pointed out several good restaurants in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great COMFORT in Aurora, IL"
I was only there for one night to catch a show at the Paramount Theatre but was very impressed with this hotel. Great room and the front desk staff were very helpful. The hotel is located beside the train station and only 5 minutes walk from the centre of town. While it doesn't have a restaurant there is a really great place next door for food, entertainment […] and of course beer. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel for Rail Fans!"
Comfortable, great staff, convenient to Aurora METRA station, and next door to excellent Two Brothers Roundhouse brew pub.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Another good stay here."
I have stayed here a few times now. This is my first choice when in Chicago area, although a little out of town it has a good rail service to get downtown, about an hours journey. The staff here are really good, they made sure my request to stay railside was honoured, and they made check in and out a breeze. I was allowed to leave my large bag at the […] hotel a few days when I went to Dallas and back, no charge. Being a railfan the train noise was no problem for me, one side of the hotel looks over a freight line and the METRA commuter train station, so train noise is inevitable (but I didn't find it especially intrusive). I'm sure the hotel would do its best to put you on the non rail side if you request it, if you are on the rail side the METRA station is especially busy with early morning trains coming and going on weekdays taking commuters into Chicago. So overall, very good (staying again in a few months time). Good place for the cost. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Comfort Suites Aurora"
hyvä hinta-laatu-suhde, ok aamupala, joka kuului hintaan. hyvä palvelu ja siisti huone. hyvä hotelli meidän tarkoitukseen eli yöpyä läpikulkumatkalla. Lähellä Premium Outletia. Ilmainen parkki. Ainoa miinus on junarata joka kulkee ihan hotellin vieressä, eli ei herkkäunisille. Itse nukuin hyvin, mutta aamulla junien ääni hieman häiritsi. Mutta menisin […] silti uudelleen, ei paha. "This Place Is Nice!"
07/09/14 djkrun Chicago
We didn't know what to expect, since we had never stayed at a Comfort Suites. We stayed just one night, to attend a concert a the River Edge facility. The building appears to be quite new, the staff was very friendly and efficient, our room was fine (nothing special but as nice as we had hoped for), and the breakfast was as we expected. We faced the train tracks but noise was not a problem. The location is great for walking to River Edge, the casino, Paramount Theater, and plenty of restaurants. Plenty of free parking. We greatly enjoyed jogging on the river trail which is just one block away. Reasonable value for the price. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.
"Fantastic property!! Exceeds expectations"

This hotel offers so much more than you would expect from a typical Comfort Suites. We are loyal Choice hotel rewards members who travel for a living so we've stayed in lots of hotels. From the breakfast to the pool to the outside sitting area to the snacks at night, this hotel goes way above and beyond. I know it seems like a little thing but when you travel for a living, great pillows and towels make a huge difference. Add great staff who are proactive in making the guest experience a positive one and you have a real winner in the Comfort Suites in Aurora.
"Great hotel, great entertainment, great friends.....priceless!"
07/07/14 Deb L Aurora, Illinois
I recently visited Rivers Edge Park in downtown Aurora. I stayed at the Comfort Suites which is within walking distance of the park. What a great find! The Comfort Suites staff was very courteous from the time we checked in until the time we left. The hotel was very clean, updated, and had all the amenities I needed. Not only was the hotel close to the venue we went to, but it is also within walking distance of the Roundhouse and Hollywood casino, which was a bonus in entertainment for my friends and I. I will definitely make Comfort Suites the hotel of my choice when visiting a venue in downtown Aurora again!
"Awesome Experience !"

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel this past weekend while attending Blues on the Fox. It was a great experience. The hotel was very convenient to the Metra train and Rivers Edge Park. The hotel was very clean and had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I wanted to take it home with me. LOL. The staff was friendly and courteous! Rivers Edge Park was amazingly clean and well laid out. I will be back there this weekend!
"Big Fun, Short Drive"
06/30/14 Michael D Wilmington, Delaware
Less than a short walk from the Hotel is Aurora's new gem, River edge park. Just saw "Blues on the Fox" there and OMG, this talent IN AURORA IL! Brand new 30 acre park/Concert venue. Stunning, clean, right on the river, great sound and I no longer have to go to Tinley park and fight the crowds to see awesome music. Blues Traveler next Sunday by the way! The best part... This charming comfort suites is less than a short walk. I joked about a cab ride, it would be 15 seconds, lol. Tired of, out dated tired hotels? This is a breadth of fresh air. The beds, the linens, best night sleep I've had in a long time. Freindly staff and clean, let me say it again.... Clean. Great music, great accomodations, zero hassle! Somebody finally figured it out.
"I will never stay anywhere else when I'm in Aurora!"

The staff did everything possible to make it a memorable stay. The lady who took care of the breakfast room made us feel like she was our personal waitress. The front desk accommodated our needsand arranged for a second night's stay when bad weather changed our travel plans. The decor is beautiful as well.
"Neat place, but might be in a questionable neighborhood"
06/28/14 savytrav82 Chicago, Illinois
The hotel is train themed, which my fiance and I enjoyed. The staff was very helpful and great to work with! The room was very roomy and very clean! The main doors lock at 7pm and you have to use your key to get in after that, which is kind of weird. I have never been at a hotel that does that before. I don't know if they have a problem with unregistered guests gaining access to the hotel or what.
06/26/14 olytraveler_10 Olympia, Washington
This hotel is less than a quarter of a mile from the Metra endline in Aurora. This makes getting to downtown Chicago a snap. There is a very good brew pub?coffee house next door in the old round house, which is a must see for train buffs. I did not find the noise to be an issue. Staff is very good, and friendly. Rooms are clean, modern and spacious. Very little to complain about, a little high priced on the weekends.
"It's the Little Things"
06/22/14 LHarrisS Chicago, Illinois
I was surprised to find this hotel on hotels.com with such high ratings, which is what made me book my stay here. As I got closer to the hotel, I saw that it was located right across the street from the Fox River, which hosts a river walk, and is walking distance from the Aurora casino, which I did not find mentioned in the hotel's description, but I think is worth adding. The hotel has a train station themed decor, as there is a Metra stop right out back. There were nice soft cookies available at check in. The daily hot breakfast was very decent and the breakfast menu was not repeated over the course of the 5 mornings during my stay. The orange juice was not watered down. I also really loved that they had trays available in the dining area, which made it easy to take breakfast back to my room. It may be a small thing, but it is a feature that I really appreciated because it has always been a task to get the breakfast to the room. I also noticed they had crayons and coloring sheets available for children during breakfast, just like at a restaurant. I liked the lounge/patio furniture that was available outside. The pool area was nice, I just wish it had a sauna. I think this is a great place to take a mini retreat as there are so many nice things to do. The only other disadvantage of the location (which has nothing to do with the hotel) is that there aren't many places to eat within walking distance. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
"Convenient but Bring Some Earplugs"
06/11/14 NDPatriot South Bend, Indiana
I always stay at this hotel when I visit Aurora. Downtown and convenient to restaurants, the casino, and other venues. Friendly staff, clean rooms. They need to get a new sign on the building. The old one is faded and doesn't do the facility justice. A little overpriced for a Comfort Suites but you are paying for the convenience factor. Try to get a room on the road side. The rooms on the backside of the building are subject to the noise from the busy train tracks. I just bring a set of earplugs and don't notice the trains. There is a craft brew pub next door which is also convenient. If they try to upgrade you to a "mini-suite" save your money. A big tub and a sink you won't use for the extra cost.
