Staff was great! We stayed there for six days and it was a nice stay. Hallway carpeting was a little stained and the rooms are a little outdated but to me that is the least worry. The bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The biggest issue was the vending machine!! Lol

For the price this hotel was perfect to spend a night before heading off to the airport. Bathrooms are small, although that wasn't a problem for us. For breakfast they had cereal, toast, danishes, oatmeal and waffles out of the package. Staff were friendly.

It was just a room in a hotel, nothing to write home about, breakfast was cheap at best , all starch with a few pieces of fruit that should have been thrown away, coffee - not hot , juice ran out and not replenished, tables wobbly

I am glad i did not had to spend more than one night there. I never stayed in 2 star with kids so i gave it a try. This Super 8 make me regret it but the next two night i had reserved in another Super 8 which was much cleaner and nicer. SO i guess it was just this hotel.

A major pet peeve of mine... a dirty bathroom. There was dried up urine around the base of the toilet and mold around the sides of the shower. I had requested for a refrigerator and never got one.

asked for a refridge & microwave in room on arrival no fridge or microwave. i ask for a room above ground level & told hotel is booked out. apparently reservations do noit make a difference at this hotel its first come first served. room also stank from a/c. i guess the a/c filters have not been changed in a while.

This was my first time traveling to Chicago. I stayed for 6 days, and was very happy with everything. I will be staying at this hotel again for 2 more days when I return from Ohio. The hotel location was convenient for everything I needed to do.

We will book again at this site, however the areas for improvement could be that the electrical plugs could not hold a plug for cell phones or other items and the front desk people knew NOTHING about the surrounding area, attractions or transportation system.

Pros: Rooms were clean, inviting, fairly spacious. The price was very good and check-in was simple. It met all of my expectations for a good, affordable hotel in Chicago. No bedbugs! I would definitely stay here again! Cons: The bathroom was REALLY tiny. A larger individual would have a hard time in the bathroom as there is only space enough in front […] of the toilet to stand and turn around. It made getting dressed in the morning a little challenging as I kept whacking into the door with my elbows. The breakfast wasn't stellar. Carpit was damp, mold in bathroom on walpaper that was pealing off wall, and AC was very damp as well (may have had mold in it as well. Great rate but nat a very clean room.

The smell in the lobby was awful- smoke and dirty mop. Not enough plugs in the room. Breakfast was meagre. Housekeeping came knocking at 8.30am.

Really enjoyed it. Saved money, was clean, felt safe, and a friendly staff. Only negatives I can think of were the hall carpets seemed stained but not necessarily dirty. Water in cooler bottle in workout room tasted funny. The staff were very friendly and I mean everyone seemed sincere and just nice people. Would stay there again if in that area.

Room was relatively clean but the hallways and elevator absolutely wreaked of smoke so badly that I found myself hurrying to my room and quickly shutting the door behind me. Unfortunately the hotel is not conveniently located near any train stations but the price is nearly unbeatable. The entrance is not very easy to get to as it is on a one way street […] but you get used to it. The neighborhood seemed a bit dodgy but the parking area is large, well lit, and monitored by cameras. The hotel overall was o.k. The night time clerk, an older lady, was wonderful, however, the other two desk clerks were very rude. "Cool Runnings", the Jamaican, was very rude. The air conditioning went out over night and the 100 degree temps outside made the room miserable. Stayed four days. Feeble attempt at remodel. 2ooms where smal. Not enough electrcal sockets. Carpet in hall desperate for update. Pretty good breakfast. Friendly staff. Maintenance needs to unload bell cart when finished so guest do not have to unload to use for luggage. Your welcome, by the way.
