Great stay. Room was clean. Breakfast was fantastic as we had freshly made scrambled eggs and pancakes as well as bakery items, oatmeal and fruit. The kitchen staff was WONDERFUL!!! Cannot say enough about the hardworking staff operating the grill and the dining room. Older hotel but reasonably maintained. Great rate! Would definitely stay again.

Made a reservation through the phone with an operator, when arrived for check in there was no room reservation. Front clerk had to call it in & get a confirmation number since there was no rooms available we were placed in a handicap room.

Hotel was close to major attractions, shuttle service was friendly and useful. Adequate parking. Pharmacy next door and other shopping/restaurants across the road. Price was right and the pool was heated, which the kids loved. They also served a warm continental breakfast with scrambled eggs and pancakes. But rooms could use a remodel, too Old and dingy for my comfort.

Disappointed!! They stole my pajamas! I left my pajamas on the bed. When I arrived it had been stolen!! I complained at the reception, but did nothing! The hotel room was dirty! Too much noise from other guests!! No more back!!

Well let me just say it was the worst hotel me and my family have ever stayed at the pictures make it look warm and inviting but the room looks nothing like it. After we arrived and checked we went too our room to find our door open called the front desk and they had no more doubles with sofa bed so we had to stay n the room 153. The room had a particularly strong odor, not sure what. The carpets had black stains streaked across the room and the water temperature was impossible to control for the vanity and the shower. I would let the water run and run and turn the handle to every imaginable position to finally get a marginally showerable temperature (cool enough that is). Free shuttle to sea world, free parking, free breakfast, and heated pool! Neighborhood is scary though. Needs to have secure gates around the property. My boys looked out the window to find bums sitting in the parking lot next to our car drinking beer and going through their bags.

I couldnt have asked for a better location and stay! Everything my family needed or wanted to see was within 10-15 minutes. Mission bay beach was 5 minutes down the road, Sea World was 5 minutes away, the San Diego Zoo was 15 minutes away. Having to travel with smal kids was such a relief that we didnt have to drive far! The staff were very loud when passing the rooms. It was very unpleasant. The rooms were nice and clean. The parking was difficult at night because of the small lot. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here when we were visiting Sea World. The hotel has a hot breakfast (pancakes and eggs) along with the usual pastries, bagels, toast, cereal, etc. They also offer a free shuttle to Sea World and the airport which is very convenient. The rooms and facilities are outdated, but if you can overlook that, then this hotel is worth the price.

My wife and I changed rooms two times in the middle of the night because: 1) Air Conditioner noise was very loud, 2) Air Conditioner did not work. After that, the other room had no hot water in the shower. Wireless stayed down for three days and front desk did not move to fix it. Dirty towels.

it was just a hotel room...nothing extra , nothing bad. except parking in this hotel was a joke...spaces to small for a large truck. cant back out of the spaces...to close together and just a horrible parking situtation...Pool not even in the sun surrounded by the rooms and small. the kids screaming came right through the walls. it was just alright

The upkeep of the outside building needs some attention, the elevator is DREADFUL!! This was a short overnight stay as I was flying in from Phoenix to meet my daughter and grankids so we could fly out early the next morning to Chicago. The man who checked us in was outstanding - so helpful with all info, and arranged transportation to the airport next morning for us. Room was above expectations for the price. The biggest bonus was the heated pool and hot tub that were enjoyed on the last night of our vacation.

The Hotel was perfect for all of us! We went for our sons graduation from MCRD (which is only 5minutes away), who is now officially a U.S. Marine! It was a suite with a private bedroom, two tvs, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, swimming pool, jacuzzi, free full breakfast till 10am, and great hospitality! We will be back!

Was told that my first review was not accepted. None of stated reasons were present, but it was negative. Suffices to say. It is very loud from street noise and aircraft. You will need ear plugs to sleep. Stripper club down the street, enough said. My door wound not lock well and I had someone walk in on me. Was on top floor. Hotel required $20 charge to a credit card (refundable) despite having paid in full. I was told it would be reimbursed on checkout- at checkout they said 24-48 hours to get reimbursed. Hotel was a bit sketchy in general- rooms were across an alley from registration.

The rooms were noisy. We could hear the TV from the room next to us and everything going on outside. The room we stayed in was close to the pool and guests were in the pool early in the morning and late at night. We had 5 people staying in our room. My husband and I took the hide-a-bed just so the kids could go to bed before us and we could shut the […] door. That bed was so bumpy and every little move we made it would sqeak and wake the other person up. There wasn't any hot water for the shower. The first person and the last person all had a warm shower. The room and the hotel itself felt dirty. The security lock on our door was loose. The breakfast was decent. We had the same thing for the two mornings that we ate there. It would get old if our stay would have been longer. An MP3 player went missing while we were gone for the day. It might show up in one of our bags since everything isn't unpacked.
