Breeze - With its lofty ceiling, super-sized mirrors, purple banquettes, and hanging lanterns, Breeze is a funky departure from the traditional wood-and-brass nautical look that other seafood restaurants adopt in Annapolis. In warm weather, guests can dine on the brick patio or in the 65-seat dining room. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served.
The Weather Rail - This L-shaped bar overlooks the courtyard entrance and provides light fare for lunch and dinner. Rattan chairs and tables; nine TVs.
Caffe Pronto - Popular for lattes.
Built on the western edge of historic Annapolis, the hotel offers complimentary shuttles around town and to a health club 1 mile away. Front-desk staff provide dog owners a map of the best places to walk; the hotel maintains a pet run on the west side of the building. The highly ranked South River Golf Course has 18 holes and is 9 miles from the hotel.

Very convenient to Annapolis historic area: Capitol, Church Circle, Main Street. Parking is about $20/day if you've got a rental. That's pretty standard in the area. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Although the service was excellent, our room was clean, and we enjoyed a wonderful buffet breakfast, I was very surprised at the condition of the hotel on the guest levels. Doors were badly scraped and in need of fresh paint, the air grills were moldy, etc. Given these conditions, I'm shocked the Loews hotel can have repeat customers at the rates that are charged.

We stayed at the hotel for my husband to run the Annapolis Ten Miler. The only negative I would say about the hotel (and I don't think it was really a negative, we just hadn't looked at options ourselves.) We asked the front desk clerk about an Italian Restaurant in the area so we could have pasta before the run and we were only told about the Carpaccio. It was good but without reservations, we had to sit on the patio (aka the courtyard). Later in the evening we walked towards the waterfront, passing numerous other Italian restaurants that seemed to be the family owned hole in the wall types that are normally excellent and fun to try out. Next time we will know. Otherwise, the hotel was great.

Nice Hotel at a reasonable price. However, at this location virtually all guests drive and need parking. It should not cost an extra $22 to park overnight. Also, it is always annoying to pay extra for internet service. The low price motel chains seem to have no problem including it. Econo Lodge, Days Inn, etc.

We had a great stay at this hotel - it's about an 8-10 minute walk to the water, right through the shopping and restaurant district. When in Annapolis you will walk through these areas regardless, so we were thrilled with the location. As I said to my wife, instead of walking away from the water we were walking toward it. The hotel restaurant is also one of the top rated in town.

The most surprising thing about the hotel was the doggie gift bag given at check-in. The bag included a placemat, a stainless steel water bowl, a bottle of bottled water, a small charm to attach to the collar, and several phamphlets outlining pet friendly walks and businesses. We travel with our Jack Russell often and this was the most welcoming hotel. Only problem was that I was not aware of the $25 pet fee until we checked-in but that was no big problem.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was lovely and very comfortable. Upon check in the clerk gave us activities and a take-along etch a sketch for our 3 year old. WONDERFUL! He played with it at every restaurant during our weekend! We were also pleased to learn that such a high quality hotel was pet friendly, even to large dogs. If we'd have known, we would have brought our Rhodesian Ridgeback with us. As it was, it was great to see other dogs around. All well behaved and on leads.

This hotel was outstanding especially for the proximity to the Annapolis WaterFront. The free shuttle to and from the Bar district allowed us to have a great night out without having to worry about driving or taxi's. Only one issue I had with the Hotel was the $18.00 parking charge which I didn't know about until check in. Too late then.

My fiance and I stayed at the Loews Hotel in Annapolis this past Friday night and were so very pleased. The hotel staff was wonderful and the hotel was beautiful. We got in late from the airport and decided to eat at the restaurant in the hotel rather than going out and the food was delicious. Finally, the room was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable and we got a great night's sleep. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and my fiance has decided to hold some of his business meetings there at the hotel.

Hotel's "mandatory" (you pay for it even if you choose not to use it) valet parking plan makes little sense and is impractical. Self-parking is allowed but is confined to a small area outdoors, and spaces are difficult to find. Meanwhile, indoor spaces were abundant and vacant. Sometimes the parking gate operates, sometimes it does not. Sometimes the gate is operated by an attendant, sometimes it is not. When an attendant is present, they are surly or non-communicative. If valet parking is used, there is frequently a long wait as cars are lines up in wait. Someone needs to think about the parking process.

Very nicely furnished and decorated in the nautical style w/exceptional service. Large family (in many rooms) arriving at many different times, even late into the night. Mgmt at the restuarant was very accommadating, staying open to feed the latecomers. Room was nice, but warm (would not cool below 76 degrees) although it was 40-50's outside. Maintenance cleaned the filter, acknowledging as a previous problem. Toilet backed up. Pricey parking. Perhaps the same problems as all older buildings in old cities?
