"Not as snice as expected"

This hotel was out of our way. The restaurant was not well kept, and was the only choice in the area. The carpet had lots of food debris, the staff were more interested in chatting with each other than serving customers, and the food was tolerable, but not very good. Our room was quite small, and though we arrived in the late evening housekeeping was still cleaning the hallway and other rooms.

This hotel is very nice, looks like it is very new. It's a modern style, and would be very good for a business trip as well.

I reserved a room at this hotel because of the reviews I read on Hotel.com. They described it as clean, comfortable, and well cared for, with an accommodating staff and while the breakfast was just okay, it was as good as many others which offered far less comfort in other ways. I was grateful for the feedback available on line from hotels.com.

It was a nice room with 32in HD screen, the bathroom/shower was nice, it was a nice looking room. The hotel was very clean, it seemed like it was new. The desk clerk guy was really nice. The only thing that threw me off was the location, it was about 2 miles from the capitol like it said, but it was in a different spot than I was thinking. But it was a nice stay.

The room was nice, especially the bathroom. They had a pocket door instead of a hinged one to the bathroom which saves space, but is slightly more difficult to use. The room was very clean. The location is good. Just off I-79 and one exit from I-77. Breakfast was good with a reasonable number of choices.

The staff was very pleasant. Room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was very nice and good sized. Complimentary breakfast was not very appealing but next door is a very good local restaurant. Would stay here again.

Clean room, very nice shower space, nice staff, ok breakfast selection. The room had a microwave and a small fridge, which was perfect as we had small kids with us.

it was very nice and i was very surprised at how nice it was it was conveniently located right off the highway the bed was super comfy and the room was very clean i was surprised that the room had a microwave and mini fridge i will def stay there again

The rooms were very clean and the people at the desk nice. The hotel is in a good area and very close to downtown Charleston. I would definitely stay there again.

We arrived at the Sleep Inn about a half hour late due to directions that stated to get off at the Pennsylvania Ave exit. The exit is actually before I-79 ends and is the Mink Shoals exit, US Hwy 119, NOT Pennsylvania Ave. When we arrived, the clerk cheerfully greeted us, and we checked into our room on the second floor. I was pleasantly surprised to find a fridge and microwave in the room, as well as the room being very clean and comfortable. The fan was running, and it was a comfortable temperature, but after it became stuffy at about 4 a.m., decided to turn on the a/c. The unit was so loud and annoying that I had to turn it off after only about 10 minutes, as it sounded like I was in the engine room of a ship, and was not able to sleep with it running. We awoke and had a nice breakfast, consisting of the usual fare, pastries, bagels, yogurt, fruit, etc. I would say that the hotel is as good a value you can get in Charleston, and really found it more comfortable and convenient than staying at the Embassy Suites or the Holiday Inn Express at the Civic Center. It is only about a 5-7 min drive to the Civic Center, much closer than I would have thought.
