The stay was great the staff were very helpful and nice to us only issue was the rooms were quite small but we managed and the outside of the hotel was under renovations so we didnt get to see the what the outside looked like .. we enjoyed our stay and hope to go back again

We had changed our reservation from a two night stay to a three night so when we arrived and explained that they up graded us to a nicer room so we wouldn't have to change rooms. I was on my own in a room with a queen-sized bed. It was perfect and I couldn't have been more comfortable. I stayed for six nights and there was plenty of room for my clothes and toiletries. Had there been two people in the room, it would have been too small, though. The hotel is more or less equidistant from both the Paddington and Queensway stations. I kept getting lost coming back from Paddington at night, so preferred Queensway, as it really is much more a straight shot from the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a good location, about 2 blocks from Hyde Park, near Paddington Station but in a quiet residential block. It offers reasonable rates, but do not take the lowest-level room unless you are by yourself. The smallest rooms are really not large enough for 2 people, especially with luggage. The shower was tiny. There was barely enough room for us and our bags in the room. However, it was quite clean, and we were never disturbed by noise from other rooms. I do not understand why this hotel burns incense in the lobby 24/7 - it makes me think of pot smokers. If you are affected by scents, you will be bothered by this practice. We did not use the bar or restaurant so I can't say anything about the food offered. The room service prices seemed reasonable, compared to restaurant meals nearby. I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and I would rate this hotel as only 3 stars. The floor that we stayed was under remodeling and there were dust everywhere. During our check-in, the staff told us their breakfast is now 9.50 pound instead of 14.50 so I went for it. However, the final cost is about 13.25 (which is expensive) because they added a mandatory […] service charge. In addition, there is no Kleenex tissue box in the bathroom. No refrigerator. No free internet ( only the 1st hour is free) .You can't raise the room's air conditioner temperature above 22c so our whole room was freezing. Also, there is something strange about the water in the morning, no cold water.. only hot. The location is OK and Queens Garden street is pretty quite. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets at Queenways and there is even a McDonald's and Burger King. It is a solid 20 minutes walk from either Queensway or Baywaters underground station back to the hotel. If you want to go to the Paddington Station to take the Heathrow Express, it is about 30 mins walk if you need to drag your luggage along. Read more

The hotel was adequate. Our room was in the basement and had a strange smell, maybe from the sauna. Tv didn't work well until an employee came to reset the system and smack the remote against his leg. Some repairs happening.
