I was surprised and disappointed that the hotel charged for internet access and had a charge for each device. The communication from the desk personnel could have been better. For example, I mentioned that I would prefer not to be right next to the elevator. When I went to my room I learned that I was at the opposite end of the hall from the elevator; […] this translated to 125 steps from the elevator to my room and I was recovering from a knee injury so this was not good. When I questioned the desk clerk about this, he blamed the computer system saying that it only gives the option for next to the elevator or not. This says that he didn't pay attention to the room numbers nor did he inform me of this in advance. Also, my room access card did not work on multiple occasions so I had to make several trips to the front desk to get the card reset. When I asked if this was typical, I was informed that the cards are easily erased if they are placed close to a cell phone. Again, why didn't they tell me this up front? However, on one occasion the card was "erased" within an hour of having it reset. That sounds more like a system or equipment issue to me. I did not feel like the service I received was in alignment with the daily rate or the stature of the hotel. Read more

We stayed here for our first night of our honeymoon and it was a wonderful experience. Warm cookies and welcome when entering as well as a very comfortable room to stay in. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Lots of restaurants and shopping while close by to the airport. Hotel is nice but lobby area under construction making check in a little crazy when extra busy. Staff was very attentive during it all.

Overall good experience. They should provide a free breakfast buffet. Severl other hotels we stayed in during this trip provided free breakfast. Also should have free internet or Wifi. same as other hotels. the hotel is beautiful and convenient.

I ended up at this hotel through Expedia's "Mystery Hotels" and was very pleased with my stay. This was between their conversion from a Crowne Plaza to a Doubletree. The shuttle driver from the airport was friendly and pleasant, and I was really early so I didn't expect to get a room yet but the desk clerk was super nice and was able to check me in […] to a room right away. I went to their restaurant for breakfast and had the BEST vegetarian omelette I've ever had in my life. For dinner I had a vegetarian ravioli and it was delicious as well, with homemade pasta. The restaurant is pricey, but totally what's expected for hotel restaurants. There is a little workout room and it's got everything you need for a basic workout. The staff were all friendly and polite, the room was clean and quiet, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Read more

10 years ago, if a hotel offered wifi in the room, it would typically charge for it...nowadays, when a hotels stats 'wifi available', it's assumed that it's complimentary. This hotel's $13.95 fee was exorbitant.

This hotel was advertised as a crowne plaza when I booked the room but when we arrived the name had been changed to Orlando Airport hotel. It was run down and the rooms were not clean. We were told by the staff that they were changing to Doubletree. I would not recommend this hotel unless the new ownership makes a lot of changes.

The hotel and staff were very courteous and professional. We enjoyed using the pool as well. Our only complaint was that we were supposed to be given breakfast with our reservation, but in fact we had to pay additionally for it.

The hotel is a little bit dated but will be a Doubletree on March 1st 2012, so it will be interesting to see what they do with it. The rooms are large and comfortable and Ally at the front desk is fantastic! There is a small gym downstairs and a couple of computers in the lobby, not much of a business center that I could find. At time of writing, the […] property is all non-smoking. If you are returning a rental car, avoid the gas station near the hotel. The shuttle service was excellent. We checked into the hotel returned our rental car to Hertz at the Airport, called the hotel and they promptly sent the shuttle bus to Airport and picked me up for return to the hotel that evening.

This hotel was previously a Crowne Plaza . It is undergoing a change and soon will become a Doubletree Hotel (from 1st March?). Very friendly service; convenient for a stop-over at Orlando International airport. Many good chain restaurants nearby.

I booked at the location to take advantage of the franchise name and their level of service standards and PriorityClub points-- neither was offered any more! The desk clerk told me that "... Not as clean as previous stays. Changed Name and no longer park, sleep and fly designation by the week, which was not explained when reservation was made. No longer part of Crowne group, but still a comfortable stay and good value. Hotel needs a little maintenance in the public areas (like cleaning carpets so the place doesn't smell so damp), but all in all can recommend. Location to Airport is excellent.

O Hotel esta precisando de reformas nos quartos urgente. Tive que mudar de quarto 02 vezes devido ao cheiro forte de cigarro e mofo. Não tem cofre e geladeira nos quartos. O que ajudou foi a gentileza dos funcionários da recepção. Para eles nota 10, para o Hotel 3!!!! Muito proximo do aeroporto. Não tem nada ao arredor.
