Rooms are very clean.. I had booked a non-smoking room with 2 Queen beds. Unfortunately the hotel didn't have anymore, but they were nice enough to accomodate us by giving us a non-smoking suit with no extra charge. I was really surprised about the location, and was pleasantly surprised with the room and service. The front desk manager was very attentive and very courteous. The room had just recently been renovated and felt very new. There were some issues with it, but were easily overlooked. All in all, this was the most bang for my buck.

Customer service was excellent, room recently updated and VERY nice for the price, great breakfast (waffles!), and convenient to the freeway and a nearby HEB. I can see how parking might be a problem is you arrive late on a weekend. Club nearby, but no noise in room or trouble in street.

The location is great, walking distance to food, convenience stores, grocery. Easy to highway and airport. We had a second floor room, which was very clean and comfortable. THE ONLY REASON WE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL WAS BECAUSE WE WERE GOING TO A FUNERAL AND THE MANAGER WAS VERY PLEASANT AND COMPASIONATE. SHE TRIED TO MAKE EVERY THING AS EASY AS POSSIBLE AND PLACED OUR ROOMS CLOSE TO EACH OTHER SO THERE WOULD NOT BE ANY PROBLEMS BREAKFAST WAS AVAILABLE AND VERY GOOD/ THE ROOMS CLEAN AND SPACIOUS.

This is the first Ramada that I actually enjoyed staying at. The room was clean and very large. The bed was brand new and very comfortable. Location is excellent, right next to HWY 83. 10th street has everything you need on it. Will definitely stay again!

The hotel was about what was expected for the price, but the bathroom had a sewage smell and something was leaking by the toilet... also, one of the hand towels had a brownish stain on it. The shower wasn't bad (pretty good water pressure)... rooms were updated and nice... beds were super comfy!! loved the pillows!! I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are on a tight budget. Absolutely nothing wrong with the accomodations and the staff was more than helpful. However, it was an older, hotel with lesser ammentities than what I expected. The breakfast was great and again the staff more than accommodating.

I flew into McAllen for a 1-day personal trip and needed a hotel room for the night. The Ramada Limited was affordable, close to the airport and easy enough to reach. The staff was extremely nice and checked me in promptly, even though it was after 11pm when I arrived. The room while slightly spartan, smelled nice, was clean and the bed was comfortable. My […] only complaints were that the toilet ran very quietly during the night after I used it right before bed; it either overflowed or leaked around the base. The bathroom was flooded when I woke up so I was unable to take a shower. The free Continental breakfast was nothing special; I must have arrived late since there was virtually no food left. I was already in a bit of a hurry, so neither was a huge problem. This hotel is located right on the highway and near the airport. I would probably give it another try if I'm in McAllen again by myself for 1-2 days. But if I'm traveling with my family or on work-related business I would definitely choose a nicer place.
