This is such a cute hotel. The staff are so friendly. Just a 5 minute walk to Menin Gate. Hotel was very quiet at night so I had a great sleep. Shower is really good. I will definitely stay here again.

My 3rd time to stay here - the hotel is conveniently located just across from the train station and a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the town square. Rooms are with modern furnishings and very clean. Internet speed (complimentary wireless) was fast and reliable. The breakfast buffet here is also excellent, though I find the restaurant is a little overpriced in relation to other dining options in town. This hotel remains my first choice for when I need to stay in Kortrijk.

A wonderful stay in a perfect central location to Ypres. The B&B was a lovely place to call home for the night. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. Lekker Full English breakfast in the morning and Nelson the Cat was a fun addition!! Out of 1-5, I give Cavell's an 11.

Cosy's is across the street from some of the main buildings of the Universite Catholique in Lille, which makes it an ideal place to stay if you have business at the university or are visiting a student. The co-location with the school makes for a youthful energy on the street - but it is still somewhat of a haven on the inside. In spite of an "in its bones" mildewy smell that lingered in the bathroom, the property was well maintained, the rooms bigger than expected, the beds comfortable, and the property largely quiet. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped with small refrigerator, dual-burner, stovetop, coffeemaker, pots and pans, dinnerware, etc., making it easy to prepare in-room meals with groceries from the supermarket about 3 blocks away. Recommend stocking your kitchen as the area does not exactly have a "24/7" lifestyle. Internet was functional but occasionallly clumsy and slow. Could have used one English-language television channel or some English captions on the news. Would not recommend the hotel breakfast - a little expensive and schedule limiting. Instead, take a one or two block walk and get some delicious pastries and coffee from one of many boulangeries in the area. Always seemed to be someone at the desk who spoke enough English to answer questions, provide direction, etc. Definitely a positive experience. If I return to Lille, I would stay there again.

This is a very good choice for the money and the location is excellent. I would stay there again. It's not the Four Seasons but the price isn't a Four Seasons price. The WiFi was dodgy, however, and a real pain to use. That's something they really need to work on.

Nice! there are places all around to eat and shop, and it was very comfortable. The room service is expensive, and not all that tasty (I got the soup and mousse au chocolat after being in paris for a month), but the breakfast is very nice.

Based on overall hotel experiences around, this hotel was average. The worst parts were the lack of air con in the room which meant it was too warm at night and the really spotty WiFi which dropped out every five to ten minutes. The best part was the location.

The hotel room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Disgusting. Even after 2 nights there we could still smell it. The pillows were terrible for a 4 star hotel. However, the location was good.

Staff were very efficient although they were understaffed in the bar/restaurant. Breakfast was good. Taxi ordered and arrived on time by reception. Only problem was that on the 6th floor where we were, there was a generator of some sort associated with the lift, which came on every 30 minutes and was annoying when trying to sleep.

We had a really enjoyable stay in Lille. The purpose of our trip was to visit the grave of an uncle who died in WW1. Overall the hotel was fine, the food was very good. Had a couple of days in this hotel in July 2010. Hotel is in an ideal location, I feel, as it is quieter than those on the square/busy roads yet 5 or 10 minutes walk to all major sights. We walked with rolling cases from Eurolille station - it takes about 15-20 minutes and was no big problem to u, but some might prefer a taxi. Rooms are modern, possibly […] bland (depends on how you value quirkiness) and spotlessly clean. Good buffet breakfast for a continental hotel. J'y suis allée le week-end dernier avec mon mari et mon fils de 5 ans. L'accueil a été parfait, avec un petit cadeau offert à mon fils et des invitations pour la Grande Roue. Nous avons aussi été fort bien conseillés quant aux restaurants typiques de la ville. Enfin, les enfants disposent d'un petit espace de jeu à l'accueil.

We hadden een superior kamer voor 3 personen. Onze dochter van 1,5 jaar sliep in een babybedje dus we hadden de slaapbank niet nodig. De kamer is heel ruim, want zelfs met een grote kinderwagen en een babybedje in de kamer was er nog genoeg ruimte voor onze dochter om te spelen. Enig minpuntje van de kamer is het zogenaamde free-wifi van Orange. Die […] is niet gratis. Beneden in de lobby staan 2 pc's waarmee je gratis kunt internetten en die waren altijd beschikbaar. Het ontbijt is inderdaad heel goed, maar dat mag ook wel voor 15 euro p.p. Kinderstoelen zijn aanwezig in de ontbijtzaal. Het hotel is heel centraal gelegen in een zijstraat van de Rue National waar de Franse winkelketen Printemps is gevestigd. Alles ligt binnen loopafstand van het hotel. Read more
