close to my meetings, appreciated english mags and papers. Breakfast was adequate and free wifi is appreciated. will consider as using my base whenever in Paris for work.

WIFI was horrible - totally intermittent - would go down in the middle of a payment or reservation - It is hard to rate since some of the staff was simply wonderful and superb, while some totally inept especially the cleaning crew. Very helpful in finding drivers to events on short notice.

The hotel is very pleasant. Its a solid 4* hotel with good service. My room had an eiffel tower view and overall I enjoyed my stay there. Breakfast was kinda low choice and wasn't very solid, but it was 100% ok for me, however someone might consider this as an issue.

Cannot be beat for location, boutique feel and although the rooms are on the small side, this is Paris and were very adequate. Very quiet hotel, well insulated from street noise. Minutes from the Champs Elysees and 10 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. Very convenient also for subways.

The rooms are pretty small, specialy for two occupancy, but lovely decorated. The closet was small, and the bathroom as well. Clearly there is a shortage of staff, sometimes no one to serve us in th breakfast hall. The breakfast buffet didn't meet our expectations. Could not be better for location and service was very good for a small hotel. Consierge desk could have been better. Very close to all tourist destinations and a number of very good resaurants at all price ranges. If you are a big person, I suggest you take the 3rd level of booking.

West End Hotel was one of the main reasons that made our Paris vacation great. The location was great, 5 minutes' walk from Champs Elysee. We walked two blocks (5 minutes) to get the best views of the Eiffel tower across the river. 30 minute walk down the boulevard through the most beautiful part of Paris to the Louvre. Best part, free parking on the street next to the hotel in the month of August, and we got the free breakfast with our booking- it was great! Especially nice because they offer to bring to your room at no additional charge. So breakfast in bed every morning! Not too shabby. You pay a little more for this hotel than some others that you can find, but it is worth every penny if you appreciate staying in beautiful, comfortable hotels. This is a nice boutique hotel offering free wifi and free breakfast, a real marketing breakthrough for Paris. Most hotels still charge for both. Our deluxe room was spacious as was the bathroom. Nice touch in the bathroom is a table and stool for a woman to use for makeup. Windows open. The street is in a wonderful section of Paris with restaurants […] all about. The street itself is reasonably quiet. The one complaint and it is, for us, a major one. For the first few days (we stayed a week) the wifi was fine. Then it was terrible. Intermittent, dropping connections, inability to log back in. We would get knocked off and not know it until in exasperation we checked the page with the connection information. Since wifi is important to us, we told management that we would not return to the hotel, which otherwise we rate excellent, unless we are assured that the wifi problems are history. Management acknowledged the problem and said it would seek other service providers. Read more

Nice, but not the best boutique hotel we stayed at in Paris. Perhaps my view is skewed by the fact that there was an all night party catty corner to our hotel that kept us awake most of the night for the only night we stayed at this hotel. Service not very personalized, and somewhat indifferent.

The great reviews about West End Hotel were correct. The staff were extremely helpful especially Enrique at the front desk. They gave us a very nice corner room with a 180 view and a balcony. It had an old world French charm. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast with bread, cereal, pastries and juices. It […] is NOT the american breakfast you would expect in the US. However, room service was not expensive. In fact it was cheaper to eat at the hotel than eat along the Champs Elysees. A pharmacy is just to the left of the hotel. Would I go back? definitely. It is one block from fashionable Montaigne ave (Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dior, Chanel, Harry Winston, Nina Ricci) and a few blocks from Champs Elysees. To get to the Champs Elysees, upon exiting the hotel, turn left, then turn right on the second corner and you will hit the middle of the Champs Elysees. To get a great view of the Eiffel tower at night, upon exiting the hotel, turn right & walk to Montaigne. Upon reaching Montaigne, turn right and a short walk to end of the street (Alma Marceau metro stop). The Eiffel tower is right there with all the lights.. To get to the hotel by paris metro, get on to the number 9 train. get off at either the Franklin Roosevelt or Alma Marceau station and take the ave Montaigne exit. (be sure to take the Montaigne exit!) Walk along Montaigne until you get to the Max Mara shop then turn at that corner. The hotel is a few meters away. Read more
