It was very easy to get to all the attractions. Loved the two bedrooms room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good 2-bedroom hotel"
friendly staff, good rooms, 2 bedrooms, good location, I wish hotels.com was more clear about which rooms have 1 or 2 bathrooms at this hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Sofa bed not that comfortable. Otherwise we had a great stay (4 adults plus 6 kids plus baby in our own crib).Genuine Expedia guest review
"Easy Access to downtown Vancouver and airport"
Spacious rooms but needs some sprucing up. Hotel is located convenient to downtown and airport. Neighborhood is being developed as Vancouver is booming. Some stores and restaurants nearby are iffy but look like they are being pushed out as more upscale stores move in. Gentrifying neighborhood. Residence Inn is next door but it was booked up. Looks very […] nice and is the better of the two. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great for families"
Great location. Plenty of space for the family with 2 br and 2 baths and handy to have a full kitchen.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Room was downgraded"

"Roomy for family of 5!"
With 3 older children, no one likes to share beds. This was perfect for our family. Two generous bedrooms with 3 beds and a pull out sofa in the living space. Two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining space and sunroom gave us plenty of room. Pool and workout facilities were nice. Great location, but Vancouver never goes to sleep, so some nights were kind of […] noisy from street traffic. We would recommend. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Old and run down"
The maid service was really bad. I had to stay on them about actually cleaning the room. Wasn't crazy about the location either. The furniture and appliances are like 30 years old. Besides the fact that they offer very big suites (we are a family of 4) and the beds were comfortable we did not enjot our stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Larger rooms than expected. Staff very helpfull as we were from out of town.Genuine Expedia guest review
OUTSTANDING! Well worth the money. Large room with lots of space. Hotel staff very helpful. Only downsides...mattresses a bit old feeling and breakfast bar cramped and not laid out very well. Loved the place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Downtown location, great price, lots of space!"
We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room and the amenities. We thought that the room was particularly great for the price, given the downtown location. Breakfast was adequate, and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The only minor drawback we had was that the exercise room/spa was closed for renovations during our […] visit. "Good value for family"
I am a Marriott kind of guy but could not find another hotel with multiple bedrooms in town without renting the penthouse suite. Marriott Residence Inn is under construction next door which would be my choice next time. Safe area around the hotel. Hotel is under renovation so ammenities such as pool were closed. We did know this before hand. Room was […] missing light fixtures and furniture. Appearantly it was easier to remove than to repair. There was a hole punched one of the walls. There was something gross that ran down the wall in the bathroom. Underground parking was confusing to navigate at best. There are two level P1's. Nice to have separate bedrooms with a family. Very courteous at the front desk. Currently this is probably the best value for a family. The Residence Inn will be open by summer. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
At check-in they were not able to pull up my reservation from hotels.com despite me giving them my confirmation number for my stay. After 15 minutes of searching there system they found my reservation under Expedia which makes no sense because I booked it through hotels.com. So after we check in and get to our room we find an ironing board in the middle […] of the living room, Garbage all over the place and big recycling bin. The cleaning lady shows up 2 hrs after we've checked in and starts to question why we're in the room that we've been assigned too. After clarifying with her that we are in fact in the correct room. She cleans up the garbage and leaves. The overall experience was horrible, Had I not been in a rush to leave the next day I would have requested some sort of compensation. The room it self was quite big and spacious but the service was just horrible. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to restaurants, shopping, and transit"
We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The hotel is very close to various bus routes and less than a 10-minute walk to a metro station. It was also relatively soundproof so ambulance and police sirens to the nearby hospital were not loud, especially at night. There were 5 of us (two families) in a 2-bedroom suite, which had two full bathrooms and a […] full kitchen. The breakfast that is included was good as they provide various breads, cereal, juices, and fruit, although I would have liked to have seen yogurt and even hard cooked eggs added to the menu. We would definitely stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for the family"
It was a $10.00 taxi ride to Rogers stadium for a concert, but because we had 5 people we had to take two cabs. Was hoping that the hotel shuttle could have taken us but it only ran till 6:30 pm.Overall we had a great stayGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is in a great location. Our suite was very large and comfortable for a few people. It had everything we needed. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful as well. I did not try the pool or have the complimentary breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.Genuine Expedia guest review
Over all it was a good experience , front concierge was excellent. Suites were a good size and clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lots of space for the price."
We didn't realize that we were getting 2 bedrooms at this rate. We didn't need the second bedroom but if you are traveling with a family I'm sure you would find this useful. The rooms and decorations are nice. Nothing spectacular. But the location was great. We could walk to lots of restaurants, shopping, Stanley Park and the waterfront.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"may be good for family but not for business travel"
disappointed right from the start beginning 15 minute check in (without apology), apparently they could not find my booking, two alarm clocks that did not work, a coffee maker did not work - and if it had, there was no creamer in sight.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great family hotel"
This is a fabulous hotel for families. Our 2-year old grandson was entranced by the views from the ceiling to floor windows. The kitchen was a great convenience. We will definitely. Return to the Landis on our next visit to Vancouver.Genuine Expedia guest review
As always, the hotel is comfortable and clean but could require upgrades/sprucing up. The breakfast is tasty, selection af pastries, fruit, bagels, juices and coffee. The pool and gym are very well maintained. I also love the shuttle for downtown exploring.Genuine Expedia guest review
This is the second time we've stayed at the Landis, once again the hotel manager went out of his way to help us this time with our luggage to our room as well as be very helpful with any other requests we had. We will definitely be back next time we're in Vancouver. The room was clean & close to events in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient location and affordable but average commodities"
08/23/14 VIKAS M
The hotel was chosen because it offered two bedroom suites at affordable prices. Located right in down town most of the attractions are near by. They run free shuttle within downtown area like to English beach , Stanley park, but it's drop only. Rooms are large and comfortable What I did not appreciate the utensils they provided were pathetic. They were burnt at the bottom with black oxidation marks. I requested them to be replace and they were replaced by similar one. The water drainage in shower is not good, Takes long to drain. They offer free breakfast but not impressed with it Staff is friendly and helpful.

Five adults into one space, not so easy to find in Vancouver in August. We had a two bedroom suite with a sofa bed. There are no curtains in the living room so the sofa sleeper wakes at dawn. Rooms were spotlessly clean but not enough towels, glasses etc for five. This hotel could do with an update. Easy walking to Yaletown, 5 mins. Probably 15 mins to Granville Island and Gas Town. 5-10 mins main shops.
"Great space for family"
08/11/14 calgarytraveler11 Calgary
We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite room which is a great space for a family to spread out. While the rooms are dated, they are clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the city and the shared fitness facilities are above average for a downtown hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful throughout our stay and we found the continental breakfast convenient which we enjoyed on the patio each morning. .
"Convenience and lots of room"
08/11/14 AmeliaNYCarea NYC Area
We got a two bed room suite w living room, separate dinning room, small kitchen and bathroom. Our family had privacy. The beds were comfortable. When friends of ours dropped by unexpectedly, we were able to entertain them comfortably instead of awkwardly in a bedroom They serve a generous continental breakfast in a nice location. They also share a pool and hot tub as well as a small gym w the hotel next door The lobby is almost non existent w a small desk and a few chairs. But we got a good recommendation for a restaurant and general help w getting around Vancouver When we were ready to leave, we found out that there was a shuttle van which took us to the cruise ship docks for only a tip for driver who was very courteous. We found out that it was possible to reserve the van for different trips in advance. There is a 7 11 store across the street as well as a coffee/ bakery. Our family got convenience and space for a reasonable price.
"Great rooms, poor service"
08/01/14 Karsten R Tremembe, SP
We stayed for 3 nights in this Hotel. The rooms are perfect for families. There are two separete bed-rooms,kitchen,living-room and a dining area.It is more like an apartment than a hotel-room. The parking is at the Marriot ( very expensive), but they offer free shuttle to Downtown/Waterfront. Breakfast is complementary but very poor. The breakfast area is smaller than the rooms and the staff is overwhelmed, not to mention the offered food. The first day there was no room-service at-all, the second day all used cups and dishes were gone ( not washed, gone !) So if you need space it is the perfect place ,but don't expect service.
"Average hotel with great location"
We stayed here for 3 nights upon recommendation from friends. Love the location -- near the granville bridge and downtown. We had the 2 bdm/1 ba suite and it was clean and comfortable...a bit small compared to other extended stay type hotels with this layout. But has decent views and offers parking( you have to pay $20/day), pool and small gym. The kitchenette however was poorly equipped-- there was absolutely no cooking utensils or skillet or pan of any kind( yet there is a stove, mwave, dishes). We wanted to cook with fresh food we could purchase from Granville island but there was no option to do that. The breakfast offered/advertised is DISMAL-- a bunch of frozen pastries, cereal and poor quality fruit. We had bfast at other hotels in town( complimentary) and along the way here and so much better-- I would suggest offering boiled eggs, fresh waffles, some salami to add some healthy protein to bfast option. The staff is small ( saw the same person at the desk all 3 days) but attentive and accommodating. Honestly I wouldnt choose to stay here again as for a family of 5-- we would choose a place with better breakfast options, better equipped kitchen and slightly bigger unit.
"Space! Perfect for families and jetlag"
07/31/14 tescoqueen cheshire
This place was brilliant for us. The two separate bedrooms for such a great price was fantastic, especially as we suffer from jetlag and snoring, so having separate bedrooms was what we wanted without the price tag. Breakfast was great - no hot food except toast but hey it was free and it was nice. Wifi worked brilliantly. We would definitely stay again. The area around the hotel isn't the nicest - but walk 15 min and you're on the waterfront. Staff very good too. Great place.

We stayed at the hotel twice within 2 weeks. Space in the suite was great but consistency of facilities in each suite varied hugely. Pity the gas grill was never topped up for use even though other guests told us they had requested it to be refilled more than a week before we wanted to use it. Try to request suites on higher floors to reduce noise - the area us very busy over weekends! Great central location to explore downtown Vancouver.
"friendly staff, great location"
we stayed here with our 3 teenagers in a delux suite with 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and 3tvs. It is in a great location with down town within walking distance and lots of eating places very close. There is a free shuttle you can book to take you into the downtown area. A busy breakfast area with bagels, toast, cereal and pastries. The free wifi was slow for our teenagers devices. The staff were friendly, helpful and did it with a smile. We enjoyed our stay.
"Fantastic location, fantastic staff, fantastic suites."
07/15/14 Philip M
Stayed here twice within 2 weeks. Booked a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite for our first visit. The suite was great but only had one bathroom. No real hardship there and I didn't complain but mentioned it on checking out. The staff were very apologetic and upgraded us to the penthouse suite for our return visit. Needless to say the penthouse is fantastic! Thank you Khalid, you have a very happy customer who will tell lots of people about this great hotel and it's staff. The location is perfect for exploring Vancouver, Stanley Park, Granville Island etc. A truly great place and a fantastic base for our time in Vancouver. Can't wait to come back to the Landis.
