"Warm and inviting"

"Great place for NYE celebrations"
We stayed at the Hampton Inn because of the NYE celebration at White's at Westport. Great idea for the two venues to work together and keeping people safe from NYE revelry. Hampton provides accommodation and dinner/dance at White's Resort, right next door. Staff at the hotel were nice, friendly and accommodating. There were some high maintenance guests not part of the celebrations and the staff handled a couple situations very well.

"Convenient stay for Westport/Dartmouth area."
Hotel is convenient, clean, and has all the amenities. Next to White's Restaurant which is a local venue. Furnishings are a little dated and need some TLC.

"Great Place to Stay"
My husband and I was in Fall River, MA, we had a family wedding to attend, so we decided to stay at the Hampton Inn. The lady reception at the from desk was very warm and welcoming, I felt very comfortable the minute I walk in. The hotel was very clean, our room was clean and bed nicely made, just like the picture on the internet. We also had complementary breakfast in the morning, every thing was good . The mall is like less than 1-2 miles away. The Hampton Inn is a great place to stay and if you happen to stay at the Hampton Inn you you never regret it:

"Convenient location off the highway"
We needed a room for one night as we travelled through the area. Check in and check out were easy. The room was very nice. We stayed on the back side so it was very quiet. Bathroom was clean. Pool was small but still the highlight of the stay. Breakfast was very nice.

"Too many diners, too little room"
There were two conventions while we were there and not an empty room in the house. Breakfast was NOT ENJOYABLE at all since every single guest was there at the same time trying to get at the food, and the senior miss America ladies were very rude, taking photos around our table like we weren't even there, and talking loudly while standing all around us like we were a conference table instead of a handicapped couple trying in vain to enjoy our breakfast at a hotel. The noise level was off the charts. In the pool there were 5 noisy children shouting and jumping in both the pool and spa each evening while we tried to go in there. No chance, even though we returned over several hours, they were still there. The reasons we stay at the Hampton is to enjoy the breakfast and pool. k Very disappointing experience.

"Comfortable room, breakfast facilities inadequate"
Room was clean and comfortable. Bed, linens, bath were all above average and what we would expect from the chain. Two unrelated problems marred an otherwise excellent stay. First, the hot water was dangerously hot. The temperature was clearly well above the 140 deg F norm. This should be addressed before someone gets injured. Second, there was some sort of event hosted at the hotel, and the breakfast area was completely overwhelmed. At 8am there was no coffee(!) and a long line to get in to the food serving area. There was no where to sit at all. I would not stay at this property again without confirming first that no large event was scheduled.

"Barely a breakfast"
Two night stay; Saturday and Sunday nights over Labor Day weekend . Check-in went fine; room was fine; had a good night sleep. Breakfast on Sunday happened around 8 AM; made myself a waffle, had some mixed fruit and a cup of coffee (not the best coffee I've ever had) and all was well. Slept in a bit and got to breakfast around 9:30 Monday morning - breakfast ends at 10 AM. No waffle batter, no omelets, no home fries, no fruit, no water, no coffee, not even a bagel or danish. There was some cereal but no milk. The attendant was hustling her butt off however she obviously could not keep up with the demand. Eventually she did get some unappetizing eggs and under cooked home fries out along with coffee. All in all a pretty disappointing breakfast.

"Overall filled our needs"

"Nice hotel, but was loud"
We stayed there over Labor Day weekend. Around 12:30 am there was a lot of noise made by a group of people in the hallway. We waited 10 min to see if something will be done about it and then we called the reception. They took care if it promptly however I feel like we didn't have to call for that. They should have taken care of this before hand. Also on expedia they don't have details about the pet policy which is pretty strict, and caught us by surprise after a 4 hour drive from NYC...otherwise the hotel is clean, friendly, and recommended

The room was great and the bed comfortable. The afternoon buffet had stuffed clams and deli meats and cheeses. The breakfast buffet was ready at 5am and a nice mix of hot and cold foods. All in all, a great value.

"Spiders"
The outside of the hotel is infested with spiders. Room had an awful odor had to change rooms. I know it's an older hotel but it's definitely not up to Hampton Inn's standards.

"An adequate hotel"
The hotel itself is just adequate. Breakfast is good but there were times when there were no seats. Three of my 10 day stay I had to go out for breakfast due to no space in the lobby. Housekeeping was sketchy and required multiple calls to the front desk and ultimately the manager. Next year I will try somewhere else.

"Good location"
Good location to visit many area attractions. Hotel is clean and everything was fine, even was quiet on our Wednesday to Saturday stay. Breakfast ok but could be a little better. I think the price for hotel seems a little high as for all Hampton Inns.

"Quick overnight to the vineyard and beach."
Hotel is close to quaint vineyard and Horseneck beach for a quick girls overnight getaway. We were placed in a handicap room due to hotel being full. My only complaint was that room was musty and carpet seemed a little damp. Maybe they just had them shampooed? Bed was comfortable and the handicap bathroom was very spacious. Handy to have the free breakfast on the premises. Food was what you'd expect.

"Not as good as our last visit."
This was our second time staying at this hotel. Our first stay was amazing but or second stay not as much. When we got to our room there was shampoo on the shower wall and toothpaste on the sink faucet. We then went to go to bed and found numerous hairs in the bed. Some very long and some short. At this point we called the front desk and they responded very quickly and apologetically. They brought up new keys to another room and we moved. This room was better but also had a hair in the bed. I did not complain this time and just went to sleep. We are staying again at the same hotel tomorrow night and hope that last weekend was just a new cleaning person and the issues have been addressed.

"Hampton Inn Fall River/Westport"
The hotel was clean, updated, and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was average. It is in a odd location off the highway but certainly easy to find.

"Comfortable stay!"
This hotel is very nice. We have stayed here before and will likely stay here again. The pool is nice and open until 10pm. The kids love it. Breakfast is very good. Close to many attractions.

"Close to Dartmouth"
The hotel was fine. Room was ok, toilet was running non-stop but instead of calling maintenance I just fixed it myself. Not really a fun thing to do but I was tired and didn't want a maintenance guy in my room late at night. There was a wrapper on the floor of my room which made me question the cleanliness, but overall it was fine.

We appreciate that you were able to fix it and understand that it was late and you did not want maintenance in your room at a late hour.
