It was ok. We were on our way to upstate New York for a death in the family. The hotel.com person whom I can not remember her name was very professional and help us pick out a reasonable hotel. Although the hotel had a lot of un-favorable reviews we found it very clean and afordable.

Rodeway Inn and Suites was terrible......we stayed two days we first got to our room and the door sticks so it took us forever to push hard enough on the door to get it open.......the next morning the fire alarm went off so we had to rgo outside in the cold for an hour or so, and there wasn't any fire and last but not least for most of that second day […] there was no hot water because the water heater was not working so we weren't able to take showers. it's a place to sleep, really. The hotel is a little run down and the rooms are shabby. While the bedding was clean, the lamp shade and curtains were filthy. But the workers were all nice and it's in a central location. If you want a cheap place to crash, here is acceptable.

Horrible. Hotels.com should remove this hotel from it's listings. First we drove around trying to find the Ramada and there was not one to be found. We called the number on my comfirmation printout only to find that they had changed the name to Rodeway Inn. I go in to register and the front door was all broken and taped up with a "Be careful" sign taped […] to the door. Upon registration I was told that they only had rooms available on the third floor, was that alright? Yes that would be fine I responded, not knowing what was ahead of this hotel disaster. Making the trek to the third floor was a bit depressing, I don't think this hotel should even be open, it was that bad. We had to go to three different rooms to find one that had heat and hot water. I didn't sleep at all. I looked out the window several times and saw only three other vehicles, not sure why they only had rooms available on the third floor? Were floors one and two in worse shape maybe? As we took the elevator down the next morning to check out we noticed that the elevator had not been inspected since 4/11, not sure if it was up to code either. I would have left after room "one" but my card had already been charged and I did not know how to handle this with Hotels.com. For the price I paid for this hotel it was absolutely rediculous. The motel is a Rodeway Inn, no longer a Ramada. The bed was hard with lumpy pillows, the wall air conditioner was noisy, curtains did not wrap around the ends of the windows so light came in all night. Could hear cars in the parking lot through the night. Generally the motel is worn and rusty.

Rain came through bottom of window frame. floor around window and a/c sunken and stayed wet. On third floor, if not careful felt like floor was going to give way, a lot of bad spots. Carpet very worn and dirty.

I rated the hotel with a 1 because it was horrible. The hotel was NASTY. During the night, I noticed that the fire alarm was danggling and was making a chirping noise. I called the hotel attendent and he came in and stood in the chair with his shoes on. This is the same chair that I was suppose to sit in. we enter the room the room, it was dirty, beds was not made, wet towels on the bed. I went to inform staff they gave us another room bed was broke, carpet dirty, shower had mildew in the shower. This hotel was not a great experience at all.

The first room had carpet burns from an iron. the carpet looked filthy. The bedskirts were ripped. The room looked run down. We were scared to take our shoes off. We asked for another room which was better but still was not what I expected from a Ramada. The complimentary breakfast was ok but again not what I expected. We ate out. The beds were comfortable. That was the only good thing about this hotel. The name Ramada did not do this hotel justice. The room smelled BAD, like a fish aquarium needing to be cleaned. The room seemed small, had trouble with the door. It didn't always close tightly and it could be pushed open. I found hair stuck to shower wall which made me question how well do they clean. Staff did not seem friendly.

This is the grossest hotel I've ever stayed in. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by a stench I still can't explain. It was like nothing I've experienced before. The blankets on the bed were ripped and had holes in them. After we got more used to the odor we braved the bathroom to find hairs on the towels and in the shower. There were […] also tissues stuck to the ceiling. Yes that's right, the ceiling. I don't know how they got there but at that point I didn't want to know. We made it through the night but left as soon as possible. We stopped by the continental breakfast, hoping to at least get some free coffee out of it but the coffee was out and next it was a bowl of fruit with a sign that said : "please wash fruit before eating." Neither the room was were clean; there was no room number to identify my room; the television remote did not work; the internet connection was poor and the woman at the desk did not know how to assist me; the breakfast food looked unappetizing. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The check-in Clerk was rude. She threw the key at me and I had to ask her where the room was located and how to get there. Usually that information is automatically given. It seems like she did not want to serve me. On the other hand, the Check-out Clerk was super.

this place is the worst place i have ever stayed. dirty roaches in the room, sticky carpet tape used in many spots to cover holes in the window curtain. tv had to be cleaned to see it. tried contCTING THE MANAGER NEVER A RESPONSE WHILS WE WERE THERE. OTHERS AT THE TRADE SHOW HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.

Stayed here a few years back... this stay was just a little different because of the New Management .. the first room had little bug in the sink but once reported we were moved very quickly to another room with out a second guess...My family love the experience.

Hotel arrangements were made for me by 3rd party. Decent curb appeal and convenient location, but that's where it ends. Dirtiest, grossest hotel room I've ever stayed in; hair everywhere, linens had cigarette burns in them, bathroom had black mold and the light didn't work. You can out lipstick on a pig.....but its still a pig!!!

I always inspect any hotel room when I first check in. The bed was made like it was fresh and clean but the sheets were dirty with hairs and lipstick stains. The bedside table had sticky stuff all over it and there were toilet paper 'crumbs' on the bathroom floor. So I asked for a new room and the very nice young man at the front desk was apologetic […] and moved me quickly to another room. This one was clean. The carpet was pretty beat and the rubber pad on the shower floor was moldy so I avoided the shower. The room did not smell of cigarette smoke, which was refreshing for being in the South, but was musty. The AC didn't work, but I didn't really care at that point. The pool had it's cover still on and had standing water with trash and ducks (!) living on it. There was a sketchy neighborhood across the road and someone knocked on my door at 3 am. Other than that the place was kind of a dump but for the price it was passable. Read more

In general it met my requirements, I was there for a day...the hotel itself was deteroited on the outside..if it's raining, take an umbrella, you can only access your room from short outside walk..location was great to where i was going and the mall and eateries...but it is what it is for the price.

Friendly service but the hotel needs to work on maintaining the basics. Scotch tape held the remote batteries in place, which in the end didn't matter because the tv didn't work even when trying to turn it on manually. I have also never seen a round toilet seat on an oval toilet. Needless to say, using the john was awkard.

Hotel had problems with hot water that lasted an entire day so we were unable to take hot showers. The faucet was also broken and had to be toyed with to even get cold water. When we went to the lobby to ask about the hot water issue and to see when it might be fixed, the staff member was rude and not helpful at all.

Traveled for a church event. The hosting hotel was approximately twice as much per night but only 2 miles down the road from where we were. Close to food, close to stores. The Hotel looked fine from the outside and the lobby was clean. Check was easy and the attendant pleasant. My room was located on the third floor and the elevator was close by. The room was run down and moldy smelling. There was a blood spatter on the white sheets of the bed. It was not old becauce it was accross the pillow onto the sheet so i gues that they are not changing linens between guest. Stay at the Hilton garden inn next
