Ashley checked us in with a great welcoming smile and bubbly personality that we appreciated. When she found out we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, she had a bottle of Pinot Noir from Oregon sent to our room with her compliments and a nice handwritten note. The room was clean, the bedding wonderful, and the bathroom superb. We dined at the […] Beach Café and had superior food and service. Complimentary Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Seattle Times in the lobby was appreciated, too, as was the welcoming glass of champagne upon checkin. Valet service was fast, friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed staying at the Woodmark. What was special about it was the staff who were exceptionally helpful, personable whilst remaining professional and courteous. They do a great job. Being offered a champagne at check-in pretty much sums up the totality of this stay. The attention to detail and warm reception from ALL the staff made visiting the Watermark a pleasure and made us feel special. The room was neat, had warm tones and had a beautiful view over the lake. It wasn't really modern, but felt more luxurious (or even sumptuous). […] We ordered room service once and the food was tasty and quiet cheap for what we got ($15-$20) - comfort food but with a professional and interesting twist. It was a little hard to find the hotel as the signage is for Carillon Point. Once we found the hotel, it was fantastic. We stayed there for a wedding being held at the hotel. When we arrived, there was a delightful young lady at the front desk with a smile on her face. She offered us an upgraded room and also some champagne.... so nice! They also have valet and a beautiful spa. The view from our king room was a lovely sight of Lake Washington.

I do not know who is responsible for training the staff at this facility but this was mine and my wife's second stay at the facility. As with our last stay the attention to customer service is unparalleled. I told my wife that for future trips don't bother to shop around when our travels take us to Seattle, just book the Woodmark.

The facility is located in a beautiful spot catering to the wedding parties. The location is great for my business trips. I booked a room for two nights for a business trip. I had stayed before for 2 nights but had booked directly with the hotel. I did report the last time I stayed there that the help was rather unwelcoming. The hotel management was […] quite responsive as a result of my comments. I was offered a gift certificate that I was unable to accept. This time the room assigned to me was directly over the entrance with a venting pipe right in the middle of the window. I asked for a pleasant view. I was told the "only" other room available was full lake view for $40.00 more nightly. I did move. The hotel had many vacancies based upon the amount of people I observed. When I booked through expedia, it was a very reduced price. I did not know that renovations were on- going rendering the lobby quite sparse and the smell of chemicals in the hallway by my "up-graded" room. I mentioned the smell to the front desk. I was there on business but the hotel is absolutely great. I'd like to go back on a romantic weekend with my wife. Kirkland is more than products from Costco. The village is known by the locals as the "Newport Beach of Seattle". It really is a nice village. Go there and stay at this hotel.

This was our fourth year staying at this hotel over Christmas. As usual, the hotel is beautifully located on Washington Lake. Staff and service is great. And of course the new Woody May (black lab), who replaced retired Woody (labradoodle), is a hit with our girls.

Very friendly staff, beautiful location. A great spot for a without kids overnight/weekend for Seattle area locals or for out of towners visiting family. A great midnight snack is offered from 11pm-2am (Raid the Pantry) with free soup, sandwiches, cereal, etc. I will definately go back.

The hotel location and acomodations were perfect for our overnight stay, An added bolnus was the Happy Hour at Bin on the Lake and a wonderful meal afterwards. The food was fabulous! It was great not to have to leave the property for a great dining experience.

The Hotel was beautiful! The Hotel Staff was so accommodating, and helped us with where we should eat, and fun places to take our daughter. Such a generous hotel with complimentary champagne and from 11pm -1:00 am they have late night snacks for their guests. I can't wait to go back!

lovely amenities1 I did not upgrade to a water view and wish I had since my windows looked out on the rooftop. Room service quality (for breakfast) was poor quality and quite expensive. $27 for toast, coffee and fruit side.
