Hotel was clean and staffs are friendly. Environment was nice too. Wish more activities and not everything inclusive as there are some activities require fees and drinks.

The overall rating of this hotel is unsatisfactory. I say this because this was suppose to be a romantic getaway for me and my spouse and we expected a lot more than a cheap and dirty motel room for the price we paid. Garbage greeted us by the front door and it didn't get any better inside. The furniture around the room was old, the tv seems to be from […] the 80s, and had stains, just like the floor. The bedding looked used and there was an odor coming from the room. Not to mention the loud noise the bathroom vent made when turned on. I've had better room at much cheaper motels. Rooms have not been updated. The rooms have a musty smell and feel dirty. The resort is good if you are looking for an all-inclusive weekend getaway. For the price that is charged a night even though it is all inclusive, the rooms should be kept in superb condition. , The bed was very comfortable. The staff is very friendly, which is a plus!!! The club lodge room I stayed in was not kept up well at all. First, there was a smell of mold in the room as soon as the entrance door was opened. It was probably from the steady leak coming from the jakuzzi. The jakuzzi was also stained. The rug in the room also had staines on it. The vertical blinds were missing panels. The one missing in the middle […] was expecially noticeable. And the windows sills were cluttered with dead bugs. Even the one on the emergency exit door immediately outside the room was clutted with dead bugs. The floor on the balcony, which was not private (it stretched arcoss all the rooms on the second floor), was not swept. It was littered with leaves and dead bugs. There was also an empty beer bottle on the outside window sill. It was likely left their by a guest. All this tells me that the rooms, at least in the club lodge area, are not kept up at all. Just enough to get the guests in. One more thing, their restaurant does not discourage people who display their underwear (wearing pants/shorts down to the buttocks) from entering. They did however have a sign essentially saying you must wear shirts with sleeves. Read more

The Pocono Palace Resort provided plenty of romance, relaxation, and entertainment for our weekend getaway. The all inclusive breakfast and dinner were outstanding. The evening entertainment included top rate bands and a hilarious comedian. Plenty of other activities were at our fingertips on the property. We can't wait to go back!

The whole place seemed a bit outdated. (lots of pink, peach, mauve). Wallpaper was peeling, carpets were stained. Lots of dead bugs/spider webs along window sills. Our room was right on the lake balcony. Lots of bugs -due to lake, and somewhat expected- but balconies, stairwells, hallways seemed never vacuumed. My love and i had so much fun here. I would recommend the Fantasy Apple suite. We are planning on going back again this winter and going during the summer. The food is awesome and everyone is happy... there is a reason for that ;) Go snowmobiling and check out the comedy/ bands... they were all excellent.

it rained a lot that weekend. the lobby was leaking, some rooms were leaking where guest had to be moved to another room. the rooms over the lounge/bar has to be the worst. there isn't an elevator to take you up to your room. you have to carry your luggage/bags up and down the long flight of stairs. climbing those stairs had you doing one of two things. […] you either stayed in your room or once you left your room you didn't want to go back. you just didn't want to be bothered with the stairs. my question is why wasn't that explained to me at the time reservations were made? i guess they were trying to sell a room. had i known that i would not have gone. the hotel staff were great, very helpful,very freindly. the entertainment was great. the food was good. I can't give it 5 stars because the property has seen better days. However, it's still got that wonderful kitsch you would expect from a couples' honeymoon/romantic property.
