the hotel hallways were cramped and the rooms felt a little tight with low cielings. I felt that for the price, the building itself could have allowed for more breathing room. The rest was good though, parking was at a fair price and the staff were helpful.

Great housekeeping, wonderful view! Didn't get any assistance with baggage coming or going. Not a very welcoming feeling especially when my lady is standing next to me with her hands full. What a shame! One other bummer, they don't have digital or HD signal for all the new flat panels in the entire hotel! No ESPN! No way!

Hotel was located in a very good location to easily access all areas of interest that we had for Vancouver. Easy walk to food and shopping. Housekeeping was a bit pushy when we decided to sleep in one morning into the afternoon with a do not disturb sign out, they called after we hadn't vacated before noon. I was able to take my girlfriend here for our one year anniversary, and i couldn't be more happy with the way we were treated. We were greeted at the front with the bellhop opening the door for us, a cookie at the front counter, and an awesome receptionist named Justin to help us check in. Easy access to airport - just one block from the train station. Walking distance to most downtown destinations, or hop of the train or bus within a short walk from the hotel. Hotel restaurant serves surprisingly good food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and well equipped for week-long stay.

Very nice hotel close to the vibrent Gastown as well as a Canada line station that can zip you to an fro the airport inexpensively without having to deal with Vancouver's horrific traffic and expensive parking. Modern, clean, comfortable with an especially friendly staff.

The hotel was conveniently located just two blocks from the Waterfront station, so access was simple getting here from the airport.. $8.50 per person train ticket was so convenient..the hotel itself had great service,very willing to assist new visitors to the city with fun things to do and close places to eat. The staff were outstanding. When we checked in, they were super friendly, and they gave great advice about restaurants and a short walk I could take with my 92-year-old father-in-law. Then even sent him up a little cake for his birthday!

I loved my stay at the Delta. It's right downtown, close to the water, close to Gastown, etc. It was a beautiful hotel, and my room was awesome (with two floor-to-ceiling walls of glass overlooking beautiful Vancouver in the bedroom!). I can't think of anything I didn't like. Highly recommended!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was pleasant and comfortable. I liked how the bed was in a side room off the main suite. I don't know whether it was that setup, the light, or the bed itself, but I got my best sleep in months at the Delta Suites.

Location was perfect for tours and restaurants. I booked two rooms in May, 2012 for the September 2012 vacation for ourselves and another couple. When we checked in our rooms were on separate floors. The rooms were very large, clean, comfortable (pillows and linens were excellent!); and the location was premium; we walked to everything we needed; shoping, dining and then to the boat for our cruise. When booking in an unfamiliar city, it's difficult to get just what you want... with the Delta we got everything we were hoping for and more.

offered an upgrade and took it. VIP 21 floor,w/balcony,concierge breakfast and snacks. beyond our imagination...everyday was a beautiful day. we loved being near to everything and the staff was over and beyond in every way. I would return to same place if we ever return to Vancouver.

We received a good deal via Hotels.com for this particular hotel. What a great find. All of the staff, reception, concierge, club lounge employees, luggage guys, housekeeping, were very friendly, willing to offer suggestions and how-to's. Room was quiet, clean & comfortable. Added plus was location to the Waterfront station for the sky-train, sea bus, […] many different bus routes. We went all over the city & even to the Richmond Night Market taking public transportation. BTW... all of the bus drivers were friendly & helpful too. Everything was great except for a slight stink in the room. The smell was not overwhelming; but, it was there. Rather a sort of moldy smell. I probably should have gotten another room; but, I was out and about most of the time and only slept there. The location is excellent. Just a block away from Waterfront Station.

Booked two Suites. Our teens had one room with double beds and ours was a single queen suite. Both cost the same. Was slightly disappointed that our teen's room was roomier and brighter (more windows) - The bedroom of our queen suite was in the back of the room without windows and only lamplighting, so a bit stuffy.

Nice hotel, very clean and very well located. The staff and their service were outstanding. The room was big and very comfortable. It had 2 beds that were advertised as queen but look smaller. However, we got a roling bed at no extra cost. In summary, a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended hotel.

We were staying and extra day in Vancouver after returning from a cruise ship. We got to the hotel at about 8:30 in the morning and figured we could just drop off our luggage and see the city. We were pleasantly surprised when told they had our room ready. We were able to get settled and went to the front office to find out what we could do in the city […] for the day. The front desk was VERY helpful. We chose to rent a couple bikes and they gave us coupons and directions to the bike shop. I would definitely stay here again. Very Pleased with our room, overlooking the street though-kinda loud @ times but a very nice room with good hotel service, right next to "Harbour Center". The Parking was thirty dollars per day! Very close to Gastown & close walk to the water.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, also very honest in letting us know if their exchange rates were higher or lower than others (they would also recommend places to exchange money). Located downtown so it was easy to walk to other places. Staff were also easy to approach and if you have questions they are always […] there to answer. They will tell you areas to avoid (I e, east hastings). The only thing I did not like about this place was their overnight parking rate (I can't remember how much, but it was +/- approximately $30). No real need to use valet parking vs. self-parking. Half block away is self parking for much less, but one has to walk and does not have the same level of security. Block and half away is great breafast and coffee shop before Howe Street on left side -- coffee is great as is breafast rap vs. hotel food.

I wish we could stay at Delta Hotels wherever we travel. They certainly have it down for all good things a room should be, particularly for the very reasonable rates they charge. The whole property was in great shape and location was simply superb, with access to walking neighborhood tours and all public transportation venues, including maritime and […] seaplane. Furthermore, the hotel's restaurant dazzles you with its combination of oustanding breakfast (our only in-house meal), quick service, comfy sorroundings and, incredibly enough, fair prices. And last but not least: the staff. What an impressive array of consistent performance exhibit by ALL hotel personnel. Never before had we stayed at a hotel where staff execution had been so invariably solid- from front desk to restaurant servers to housekeeping.
