Located in the Heritage District of downtown Vancouver, the 23-story, Delta Vancouver Suites Hotel is one block from Gastown and four blocks from the harbourside Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre and Canada Place. Delta Vancouver Suites is near BC Place Stadium, Rogers Arena, CN Imax Theatre at Canada Place, Science World, Vancouver Library, Vancouver Art Gallery, and Robson Street.
Hotel Features.
The Manhattan Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu features salads, sandwiches, seafood, lamb sirloin and beef steaks. The business center provides courier services and high-speed Internet access. The hotel offers three meeting rooms for groups of 6 to 130 people. An on-site 24-hour fitness center is available to guests.

The Delta Vancouver provides 225 suites with separate bedroom and parlor areas. All guestrooms offer complimentary wired and wireless Internet access, cordless phone, two TVs, terrycloth bathrobes, feather pillows, and minibars. The expandable desks include ergonomic chairs.

Me and my husband stayed for one night as a mini-babymoon and we were quite satisfied for our stay. The room is comfy and we really enjoyed the pool as well. We would surely go back again.

Manhattan - Overlooking the street, this sophisticated, second-floor restaurant is decorated with black marble, African-imported anigre wood paneling, and modern art. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, the kitchen specializes in global cuisine, with dishes from different countries featured every month. Chinese breakfasts, which include congee (porridge), are available daily.
Spencer's Lounge - Lounge-chair seating and dark-wood paneling create an intimate atmosphere in this lobby lounge. Light suppers and appetizers served until late evening.
The hotel is five blocks from the Vancouver Seawall, a 12-mile (19 km) paved pathway suitable for running, cycling, in-line skating, and strolling.
Stanley Park, a 1,000-acre green space with beaches, tennis courts, hiking and biking trails, and a pitch-and-putt golf course, is located one mile from the hotel, and can be reached via the seawall path.

"great for choices for restaurants"
I have stayed at several Delta Hotels , this is by far the most superior with customer awareness from remembering your name to prompt service.

"Close to Enterainment district and shopping"
Hotel was great as far as being close to everything. Our room had a view of the HVAC system so that wasnt too pleasent. However close walk to robson and granville as well as waterfront skytrain for easy access to rogers arena and bc place!

It was a treat to stay at this hotel at the great special room rates on offer. The room was quiet, clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Our travelling friends and we all say that we don't sleep restfully in hotels and we certainly aren't able to sleep in. However, all of us slept well and very long both nights we stayed here. The location is so IDEAL, and there is usually a good deal to be had if you do your homework. We will be back!

Hotel is very well situated near waterfront station for access to airport plus within walking distance to shopping, tourist sites, etc. etc. Above all hotel is lovely and spacious and service from all staff - front desk, cleaning staff and restaurant staff is A1+

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and welcome the opportunity to return for my next business in Vancouver's downtown core.
"Super Staff"
We only stayed one night, April 30. When we pulled in someone came out to direct us where to park and where to go after registering. They called cabs for us. We were downtown and looking for a cab home and I called the hotel (on my speed dial) and they called one for us as we didn't have a number. They were all very nice.
"Delta Suites Vancouver, nice enough but.."
The hotel is pretty close to skid row, and there was a homeless person camped right in front of the hotel overnight. The hotel facility was nice and modern. Parking was offsite, complicated to get to even though it was just across the alley. More info would be a help.
"Not a great location"
Overall, our stay at the Delta was only ok. The staff was very courteous and helpful, but when we got up to our room I was terribly disappointed with the layout. It was very strange. The two double beds were comfortable and clean (and I am very picky about bedding etc.) So they passed the test, but they were in a separate bedroom that was very dark; […] and the window looked out onto a dark, dreary space of 4 big buildings backing onto one another. Not courtyard; just dingy. The other area of the hotel room looked over West Hastings; not a view of anything really. It contained a small t.v. a desk, and two chairs. This room is more suited for a business person staying for business; not a leisure type vacation. We pretty much chose to do stuff all the time so that we didn't have to hang out in there. The underground parking isn't actually attached to the hotel. It is a public space that is across the ally. Not as secure as other hotels. The area is not great to walk around in. There were homeless people sleeping right outside the doors of the hotel. It definately made us nervous walking back from Rogers Centre in the evening. We were nice and close to Canada Place (only a two block short walk) during the day and only a short walk to Gas Town. All in all, we definately preferred our stay at the Sutton Place on Burrard; felt safer and more upscale. Read more

Great location - you could walk to the water front, to transit, to restaurants, to shopping. Perfect spot to stay. You didn't need a car to get from the airport. You just jumped on the Canada Train and it took you right downtown, then only a 1 block walk to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and sincere.

This hotel is a short wander from the downtown waterfront train station which makes it convenient to reach especially after a long flight. We liked our stay at the Delta, clean rooms.hotel was nice. Convenient to all areas downtown,price was ok. I don't like being charged for wifi and parking, it just seems in this day and age when businesses are hurting they gouge you with pitally little charges like that. I was a bit disappointed to be honest, after having stayed in Delta Hotels in the past...... I appeared to have been put in a little-used room and it was a bit dusty (though left sparkling the following day after the housekeeping staff had been). The bedding was dreadful! And I could certainly have done without the sarky attitude of one of the front […] desk staff! However, the rest of the service was impeccable - helpful and professional at all times. Upon arrival the room was not ready (we were 2 hours early for check-in) but were offered an upgraded room with additional amenities for a reasonable price - which we took and were glad to have the Signature Club at our disposal. THE BED WAS AMAZING. Better than any bed I've slept in at W, Hilton, Westin, Sheraton - while those are all nice - this was […] just somehow perfect. GREAT location, walked from the airport tram stop 2 blocks to hotel and then to cruise terminal in the morning. Strolled to Gastown and had a great breakfast in the hotel. HUGE room! Got of the ship at 8 am and went to the hotel. From the moment we left the taxi to the moment we left Vancouver the best hotel stay ever.it's pricy but so is everything in Vancouver. Great suite, great food, wonderful service, we will come back

Quality for value outstanding. Close to cruse location; walking distance or cab ride depending on baggage and fitness level. Room amenities outstanding; on site restaurant exceptional; local mussels were outstanding. Definitely a plus ranking.

I spent 6 wonderful days in Vancouver with the Delta Vancouver Suites Hotel as my base. Thanks to a reasonable rate found on hotels.com, I booked a signature club queen room with free internet on the 23rd floor. The room had an amazing view of the city - with a partial view of the mountains and water. I traveled solo, but the room would have been spacious […] enough for two. It was very nicely laid out - with the sitting area and desk separated from the bed. The bathroom was basic. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. Having access to the refreshments and deck in the club lounge was very nice. Vancouver is a very walkable city and I am a walker - so, I found the location of the hotel offered me access to the neighborhoods (Gastown, Yaletown, Granville Island, the Burrand Inlet, Downtown, West End, Stanley Park...) that I wished to explore. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional and consistently provided excellent customer service. They were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. I love that! Read more
