I don't travel much, and hear a lot of horror stories about things that can go wrong, so I was a little nervous setting up the reservation for a place I'd never stayed before. While the hotel was undergoing some serious renovation, that hardly mattered, and it looks like it will be a nice update to the hotel. My room was wonderful. The TV could have […] used a wider selection of channels, but I have unusual tastes in programming. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. I was in town for a funeral, and on the way my car developed a serious issue -- late at night on a Friday on Detroit freeways. Not only did they help me find the repair shop that the friends recommended, they allowed me to reserve the room for an additional night in case the car wasn't fixed, and then cancel with no fee when the shop had the repair done early. I would absolutely recommend this location based on the staff alone. Read more

I needed a comfortable place to stay while in town for Residency interviews. The room was very large and immaculate! The bed was super comfy. TV was great with lots of awesome channels. Everything that I needed was available for a good night's rest.

I was going to use the in room coffee maker, even after the top of the coffee pot was dusty. The hotel was clean and comfortable. My only complaint about the hotel itself was that there wasn't a mini fridge in the room. My husband and I came into town for the food and wine festival. Wanting to be responsible, we decided to hire a cab to get us to and from the festival. The front desk clerk offered to call a cab for us. Having never ridden in […] a cab, we did not know the going rate. Instead of asking what the rate would be we "googled" standard cab rates in the Detroit area. Based on that we figured maybe $16 for a 6 mile round trip ride. WRONG! $32!!!!! I would recommend calling the cab companies in the area yourself to find the best rates instead of letting them handle it. Other than that our stay was fine. Read more

This is the first time we use this hotel. My and my children stayed for 2 nights. I had checked in really late at 2:45 am.i had booked through expedia.as i came in to checkin i was told our room was booked to someone else.the same room had been booked at the same time i booked through expedia. I believe the lady at the desk her name was Kim,she was […] wonderful and professional,she fixed the mistake right away by giving us 2 rooms connecting,she did not charge for the second room. Also,the next day we slept in late so when housekeeping knocked i told them that's ok we dont need anything.we left at 2 pm for some fun and came bac at 9 pm our rooms were cleaned top to bottom. i will definitly use this hotel again and again. thank you so much. Hotel is showing it's age. Was placed in a wheelchair accesible room (without being advised prior to arrival at my room#. Shower was horrible. Warm #no hot) water. Shower curtain stopped 4 inches above the floor. By the time I finished showering.......half the bathroom floor was wet. Venting in the restroom was poor. Everything damp after shower.

The room was never serviced during the two day stay. Breakfast buffet was not included in room price. A $40. charge to credit card was made for "incidentals" that were never used and I had to call hotel to have the charge removed. My next stay will be at a Hampton Inn.

As close to home as it gets. Room was extremely comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed the courtyard which gave me the freedom to be in and out of my room. The pool wasn't as large as I expected, but still very nice.

The stay was great!! The only negative was we asked for directions from Indianapolis to the hotel via the hotel website, and the directions were awful. The route took us out of the way, on miles of two-lane highways, and cited a route that doesn't exist.

Good value, close to Oakland University, Chrysler HDQ and the majority of OEM suppliers in Auburn Hills. Not the newest of properties, but in respectable shape. Nice staff, my only complaint is that the daily breakfast does not start until 9am on weekends.

Started off with friendly staff that made us feel welcome right away. Our room was clean and the dest help was more than happy to answer what ever questions we had! The breakfast buffet was very good. Every thing was hot, fresh and the service was outstanding. We definately recomend and stay again.

Room was very clean. Bed and pillows comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Convenient location. Fair price. Free coffee 24 hours/day. Overall, a great value. Only negatives: (1) very small street sign; had a hard time finding the hotel at night; (2) breakfast service doesn't begin until 8 am on weekends; too late for me.
