Easy access right off I-77. Rooms were clean, but there was a lot of noise from others in the middle of the night. It was very nice having a Fridge and Microwave in the room. We had some items that had to be keep cold throughout the night.

The room was a good value for what we paid for it. The room was clean, but the bathtub in the bathroom was plugged for some reason. The staff was very friendly. I would stay there again.

We booked a room for our family of 5 and when we arrived, our room only had 4 pillows. I called the front desk to request an additional pillow and the hotel staff member informed me that they didn't have any pillows available to give to me and didn't even apologize for their lack of preparedness or inadequate service. What hotel doesn't keep a supply of extra pillows? It's pretty sad that even a 2 star hotel can't afford to keep a few extra on hand and the ones that were in the room were flat, hard and generally uncomfortable. The breakfast was less than average, but overall sufficient. It was an overpriced 2-star hotel. We stayed based out of necessity more than out of choice but for the price I probably would spring for an extra $10-15 and stay in one of the other hotels in Beckley that could more adequately meet our family's simple requests.

It was a small quiet hotel. Nothing Spectacular. A small outdoor pool. Very Clean! They were a little unorganized but over all we just need a comfortable place to stay and we were satisfied with this one!

the only issue that we had was on the paper work we got from your site it said that check in time was at 1:30pm, when i got to the hotel they told me that check in time was at 2:30 and they have told your site many times that it was not at 1:30 other then that we enjoyed our stay and will more then likely stay there again in the future

it was a great place to lay your head before or after a full day of skiing. don't look for any extras or fancy looks. the breakfast was mediocre at best but for the price, you can't beat it. it was clean and i wasn't in fear of my life or health.

This place inside looks like an extended stay. A washer and dryer sits at the top of the steps. No Elevator. My wash cloths were disgusting. One wash cloth looked like i had wiped mud off my shoes and it stained. The cloth literally was blackened and well worn. If i had not been exhausted i would not have stayed there the first night. Thank goodness the manager was kind enough to let me out of the second night.

It wasn't the best place I have ever stayed, but I have been in a lot worse. I think the price is fair. Now if you are reading this you probably want to know what it is like there. Flushing the toilet was fussy. The hotel is fairly easy to get to as it is just off the freeway a little bit. There are a lot of other hotels in the area and fast food places. I would have prefered to stay in a less congested area. As a precaution we completely emptied our vehicle over night. The area seemed safe though. THE HOWARD JOHNSON WAS NOT ON THE BLUE FREEWAY SIGN!!!

Girl at the front desk was not friendly, polite but not at all interested in her job. (Did not mention Breakfast) When I walked into my room the room smelled (bathroom) enough that I went out to find some air purifier The bed was comfortable but otherwise I would not stay there again. P.S. I did send another survey in to you for this same hotel. Of the 7 hotels I stayed in this was the only one I would give a negative review and two were much better than I expected.
