Stayed here for 1 night between trains. Inexpensive, simple. Reserved a nonsmoking room. Put in 2nd floor and the smoke made me sick so I asked if the room was nonsmoking and they said half the floor is. Well that didn't make sense- when smoke travels, and people smoke all through the hallway. Pretty run down too- clean but basic and stinky. In need […] of much upgrading. When I called they immediately offered to move me to third floor, which is completely no smoking. Why I wasn't put there right off, considering I reserved a nonsmoking room on hotels.com, is beyond me. But they moved me quickly and easily- great service! Got to 3rd floor and it was like it was a different hotel! Clean, no smell. Obvious they had invested more money up here because they knew it wouldn't be destroyed by smoke. That's my theory. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and I slept VERY well! It helped that the room was cold- like 60 degrees. The heater didn't work and blasted cold air so we turned it off. I was lucky it is spring because if I had had to move rooms a second time I would have probably lost it! So nice cool room and slept well in comfy bed. Breakfast was free- really just bagels, muffins, cold cereal. Coffee was good. For the price I paid I was happy. Not somewhere I would stay for a week with family, but just me and teenage daughter it was fine. Get room on third floor if you want to breathe and not have your clothes stink:) Read more

The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the area has no great draws for tourists and many hotels competing for the few that do come. This hotel has suffered as a result. It has not been maintained well, as evidenced by the stained carpeting and burn holes in the comforters. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but as soon as you walked in the door you could tell that it was usually a smoking room. It was the most disgusting "hotel" I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in many over the years. It was old , run down and not clean. I had something really digusting stuck on one of the towels, The water in the tub didn't drain out. The shower curtain was dirty. The toilet paper was the cheapest kind you could find, it crumbled in your hand when […] you used it. We had two rooms, one for two nights and one for one night. When we checked in for the second room, the clerk was very rude when she declaired that we could not check in before 3PM. Once I told her we knew that but we wanted to just do the paper work because we were not going to be back until very late that evening, and we already had a room to put our bags in. She did change her tone of voice when she realized that. When we got back around eleven o'clock that night and opened the door to the room, it smelled like fried food. We were to tired to deal with it and my children slept in the room anyway. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Read more

This hotel is a good value for the price. Nothing fancy, but it met our needs. Close to Six Flags New England and many restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay here again next time we go to SFNE.

The hotel was nice. It was easy to find. I like the fact that there are many restaurants in the area which makes it easy to find places to eat. The hotel had a pool which was great. I was staying for one night, arriving late and leaving early, so I wasn't looking for luxury. This was a no frills hotel. Clean with a very friendly staff. I don't look for a great deal of amenities in a room. This offered fast and free internet, good television and pretty good shower. Worked for me.

The mattress was excellent; nice and hard. The room was fine but needed some upgrading. There was a close, musty odor throughout the halls and lobby. The traffic noise and the roar of the air conditioner were distractions. I don't think it's worth what I paid for the room.

I thought it was horrible. the room was dusty, no cable t.v. initially. the man in the front was kind to help fix the problem, but it took close to one hour and it was already after 1130 pm. I had two kids and a baby and my husband in this room. in the morning there was no electricity, no hot water and we could not open the drapes because we were facing […] the parking lot were everyone was walking by. there was no privacy curtain on the window so basically we had to fish in the dark to get ready for check out. First, we checked in and were given a handicapped accessible room. Neither of us were handicapped so that wasn't good for us. The shower was short and handheld, the bathroom was huge taking space from the room. I didn't have a nightstand becasue of leaving room for a wheel chair. The lamps all had those new light bulbs in them which meant the shades […] did not fit properly any more. They were all crooked and weird. The AC was horrendously loud and always sounded like some one was slamming a door when it clicked off and on which was every thirty seconds! I hated that room.
