"close to track"
customer service was very nice! wasnt expecting a micro. or fridge so that was a plus! we stayed here 2 nights to go to the martinsville speedway races. it was only a 15 minute drive!!! very quiet at night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent if you're staying for the Martinsville race"
Other than that, the town of Eden is terrible. There's nothing to do except drink. The room itself wasn't that bad but maintenance lacked big time: stains in the sink and toilet, shower handle wasn't attached, no screen in the window, old tv, smelled stale and old, etc.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"exactly as expected"
It is a fine motel for the money. The room had a fridge and a microwave. Coffee and danish in the office. Very comfortable room. Not 5 stars, but not a dump either. The couple that run it are very nice and helpful. I have stayed there twice. Would not hesitate to stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Shayona Inn, Eden NC"
Ok. Walking in made me really nervous. The rooms all have exterior doors which i don't like but isn't horrible. I absolutely did not like the fact that the hotel staff felt the need to have a "night window" Talking to the woman that checked me in reminded me of what it would feel like to stand at the drive through window and deal with the teller. There […] was plexiglass between us and everything was passed through a small window. As a woman staying there by myself, that made me extremely nervous. "When in Eden"
The hotel was somewhat full, mostly families with several teenagers. The woman at the front desk (Sarah?) was great! She addressed every request made (I saw a lot being made). Never stopped smiling.
