This is a great little hotel, the rooms and common areas are clean (and I'm VERY picky) and the breakfast is great (real food and a great variety). But what really makes it nice is the staff. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and truly make you feel at home. Can't ask for better = )

Not bad but overpriced by about $25 to $40 per night. Buffet; Eggs were powdered and sausage just ok. Our initial room was not cleaned or had had the linens changed when we checked in and took us to it. They had to give us a different room and they had trouble with the key cards. This is just a one night, pricey, ok business motel.

We stayed in the King room with jacuzzi tub. The bed was comfortable and everything clean. Surprisingly quiet for a friday night. The hotel was located right near the freeway which was a plus for us since we were traveling to different locations in the bay area for water polo. Except for the second night when we returned from being gone all day and were anxious to shower, only to find the maid had forgot to replace the towels, it was a great stay.

Very pleased, overall. The room was clean, looked good, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a little problem with the TV -- We wanted to watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, and the cable was messed up. Couldn't get NBC. The room was very large and surprisingly modern. The room was also comfortable and quiet. I would definitely stay here again. One potential issue if you are alone is that the bathroom lights automatically turned off after a set time. The room went dark during my wife's shower and it was very dark.

This was a clean quiet hotel. All things you needed for sleep, rest. No pool, no hot tub, but I wasn't looking for one. I did need room away from airport noise, place to do laundry, and sleep. No bad marks for this weekend stay at the Comfort Inn. I've stayed in numerous hotels in the area and this ranks at the top. My only caveat was the breakfast, which was not restocked, but that may have just been bad timing on my part. I didn't have time to hunt someone down and request more food.

The place itself was nice, our room was clean, and I liked that it had a micro, fridge, chair in it. I hope that the one in Opryland is the same but I doubt it. Overall our experience was good, the breakfast was good, the morning staff was nice, but the clerk at the counter when we checked in was really rude.

I was looking for a room with a hot tub and the lady from hotels.com found a king size bed room with a hot tub, the same day. At first I didn't want to stay there because the pictures online didn't look that captivating. However, when we arrived the room was prefect. Their should be more streamling in the prcessing, their charged a 10 dollar fee and wanted a copy of credit card. These measures were already complieted when i made the booking at hotels.com. if any other situations come up they can contract your managesment and apply any other fees in needed. This is a clean, well located hotel for overnight stays in the San Jose area. I teach evening classes and work during the day in my room when I travel. The room is large with a good size desk and free wifi. The furniture is a little plain but no less than a typical Fairfield Inn or equivalent and a lot lower price. I haven't stayed at many Choice hotels […] in the chain so I don't knowmhownthis compares to others but I found it a great deal for the bat area. The free breakfast had fresh scrambled eggs and sausage, fruit, yogurt, cereal, waffles, and wasn't crowded. Fitness priviledge are available at a local club several fast food places with a very short walk and a Denny's and Hobees coffe shop within 1/4 mile walk. If you don't want to carry bags upstairs be sure to get a 1st floor room. The manager said sometimes breakfast can get crowded when he gets a group of business travelers in but other than that it's easy to get service. Staff was friendly and helpful. Read more

Beds were surprisingly comfortable. No elevator to second floor so I had to haul suitcase up a flight of stairs. Breakfast is what you'd expect for this kind of hotel. Fairly good service. "Business center" did not have a printer but front desk would print.

My husband and I went to Bay Area to visit friends a couple of days ago, and decided to stay at Comfort Inn Sunnyvale for two nights. For the price we paid, it was a very good deal. The hotel was overall quite and clean. Lobby is a tad small, but it still has enough room to accommodate people for breakfast. The neighborhood is clean and convenient to the freeway. It's about a 45 minute drive to San Francisco, and convenient to to restaurants and other local destinations. The complimentary breakfast is typical, and what you expect. They also offered complimentary laundry (you pay for detergent) and a gym up the road. We were very satisfied

Overall my stay was good, service was good, room clean, breakfast was good. However, if you enjoy sunlight or a highly lit room, my one complaint was that the lighting was dim. I mention this because the rooms did not allow natural sunlight in the daytime, therefore it would have been nice to have higher wattage to make up the different.

We selected the hotel due to its location, which is near Lockheed-Martin, Sunnyvale. We have stayed at other hotels in the area and have generally been pleased. My first impression was the desk clerk. Not very pleasant upon approach to the desk. The only "thank you" I heard was when we checked out, but not very sincere. The room was OK, seemed clean. […] But while I was there I repaired the bathroom drain, which was in pieces on the sink. The bathroom light fixture was missing an end cap so the plastic light cover was hanging at a strange angle. They offered a breakfast, but nothing someone on a lo-cal or lo-carb could eat. We relied on Denny's down the street (not my favorite place), and McDonald's next door (also not my favorite). On the positive side, it didn't have a lot of visitors, so it was fairly quiet. There are some great restaurants within a 5 mile radius, or so. Much better service and facilities at other hotels in the area, pass on this one. Read more
