We stayed at this hotel just for one night. The room could use some updating but was really clean and a great value! The front desk staff was so nice and the location was fantastic! The pool was warm and the hot tub was really nice. The location was wonderful! We would definitely stay here again...and again!

The staff was so nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is right on the water which is great. It is a little far from downtown but that can also be a good thing. I would recommend this hotel.

Had a great time even with Sandy off the coast After reading the other reviews I knew what to expect and for the money...you can't beat it. One thing different for us than other reviews were the beds..slept great, no problem at all. Must be personal choice. If you are expecting a "new" motel this probably isn't for you but if you visit the Fla. coast […] often (Gulf/Atlantic) then I would say this motel is well above average. Especially for a family motel where kids and growups will carry the ocean, sand, and pool back to their rooms along with that "ocean smell". Not a bad smell but a smell every beach hotel has. Also expect wet areas on the carpet, people walking from the Ocean and pool. Not a problem for us...expected it and normal This motel was clean, clean on the inside, clean on the outside. Had no problem with getting extra towels or anything we asked for. Hot ( surprisingly very good tasting) coffee off the lobby. In the 3 nights we stayed not once did the coffee run out...8am, 12pm, 6pm, or even at 2am...always hot fresh coffee. Two PC's and a TV in the lobby area if you want to sit and drink your coffee and watch the ocean, TV or get on a PC without waking the family. You won"t find friendlier people, from Eddy, Rachel and Diane that work the front desk to the maids all are welling to help you. The water in the shower would turn hot and cold all though out your shower that wa not very good and you could not get cell phone inside the room 104. But would consider staying again because it was want we wanted to stay on the beach.

I was pleased with the amenities, room cleaniness, the quiet location and escpecially the great rates. I would gladly give up the breakfast buffet any day in exchange for a pleasant stay and staff friendliness. There is a low cost seafood restaurant within 1/2 mile right on the waterfront under the inter-coastal bridge, a 12 minute walk. The ocean view […] room I got faced north, meaning I could see only a part of the beach and mostly the parking lot next door. But the walk-out patio made up for this, as I could at least smell the saltwater and hear the waves crashing. We live in Central Florida and just wanted a quick weekend get away on the beach. The hotel is decent and well kept. The rooms were clean and the view was spectacular. Overall the room was average. The view fantastic and fairly quiet. Old plumbing facilities mean the pipes made noise as well as the toilet. The mattresses and pillows were next to awful. The hotel was easy to locate and check in and out were a breeze. The covered parking definitely helped! The property is located right on the beach and was close to stores and restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Hallway does not reflect the appearance of the rooms. If they did I would not have stayed! Dark and dated, but the room was bright, very clean and spacious. We only stayed 1 night. Because our timeshare was booked. If I needed a place in Daytona for a few nights I would stay here again.

Great location right on the beach and close to everything. While the Hotel may be a little bit dated, the staff was friendly and very helpful. Many restaurants and shopping close by although a car is recommended. Overall a great value. Had such a good experience we booked a second night.

This was the third year in a row we stayed here, Eddy at front desk was great and friendly and very nice. Hotel very nice and good mixture of diffent ages but like it most for 50+ group. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I will be going back for sure. Ron T Cincinnati, Ohio

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed in third floor room which was in need of an update and bathtub/shower in need of repair. Every time the folks on the fourth floor opened their sliding door at night it sounded like a thunder clap in our room. The first floor smelled like chemicals.
