By the Tuileries gardens on the Seine’s Right Bank, the Louvre museum dominates Paris’s cultural heart. Exclusive boutiques line Rue St-Honoré and Rue de Rivoli, and a shiny modern shopping mall occupies the old market of Les Halles. The 2nd is the finance and theatre district, containing the Bourse (stock exchange) and the Comédie Française national theatre. Châtelet–Les Halles station is the city’s biggest and busiest transport interchange.

This hotel is located across from the Louvre - what could be better. The staff all spoke english and was more then accomadating. We had a room facing the main street which can be noisy but as I love to hear city noise for us it was perfect. If we were to return to Paris we would stay at this hotel again.

Great location. Mattress was old and needed to be replaced. People before us were smokers in the room.

The hotel is within walking distance to many sites, shops and cafes. The desk staff is friendly, helpful and speak English. The breakfast is over priced for what they offer, but convenient.

Great location!! This hotel is about 1.5 blocks from the Louvre, about 1 block from the Tuileries Metro stop. Also many little shops and places to grab a quick bite right around the corner. A very good location to be in, it makes for a nice nighttime walk down to the Louvre, b/c you can also see the Eiffel Tower from that area too. The staff was very friendly and asked us how our stay was and if they could have done anything better to serve us. The room was a decent size, a little on the smaller side(just a double bed) but thats what I expected anyway from a boutiquie style hotel. However the bathroom was bigger than expected. Overall a great place to stay.

The location of this hotel is superb and the service is very good. Things are a bit old, but very clean and acceptable. You can't beat the price for the location.

After reading some positive reviews here, I decided to stay here. Paid extra for a large room/bed. The room was a good size, but the 'kingsize' bed was just two very old, uncomfortable singles pushed together. Decor was very poor and dated. Location is very good and price was ok, but don't expect too much for your money!
