I knew it was going to be expensive the weekend of the Grand Prix but this hotel did really know how to milk it. Bar prices were higher than the 5 star hotels in the centre of town. Staff were helpful, facilities were lovely - but a shame you have to pay extra to use sunbeds by pool or beach! Our favourite experience was the bike ride (the hotel hires out the bikes) since you can cycle along the sea front for miles. Location is quiet and you do bneed the hotel shuttle bus to get to / from town unless you fancy a 40minute walk.

The location of the Hotel is not central to the main city of Nice but the very prompt, clean, regular ( a.m. and evenings only ) and 15 minute journey into ther city was good. We stayed in 5 different hotels during our 14 day visit to France and Spain this August. The Radisson Blu in Nice, France was "gross". The odor was unpleasant; like sewer in the hallways; the mold, the lifting tile in the bathroom floors, but all the hotels were sold out and we had to stay here. Would I do it again; NO way. Some of the other reviews put us off a bit. The rooftop pool is free to use. Take your own beach towel to avoid the ridiculous 18 Euro daily charge for sunlounger and towel. The hotel should scrap this charge but resolutely refuse to apply common sense, to attract more income from drinks etc. The pool feels colder than the sea (Mid July), and far less […] fun, so you won't want to hang around much. The "private" beach is also free, but you will need to pay the same (18 Euros) for a sunlounger and parasol. To be honest, it makes the hotel look a bit stupid as this is a far less busy end of the Nice beach. You only have to walk a few yards to a much less crowded section of "public" beach. A beach mat and parasol can be BOUGHT (from a useful shop if you walk west down the Avenue Californie) for less than a day's hire Don't bother eating in the hotel, the prices are embarrassing. 2 local boulangeries also west on Avenue California - for breakfast (if not included in your stay), bread and patisseries to die for. The seaward facing rooms are the best, each with balcony, but you will pay a lot more. Double glazing extremely effective against the seemingly constant and deafening traffic. A good spread at breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff (some incredibly rude guests!). Beds comfortable enough to want to sleep late! Courtesy buses to town (40 mins walk). The hotel advertise they have a Beach Club available for the guests. Unfortunately that is not completely correct since they also sell the Beach Club to private parties so it was closed a full day for the paying guests in the hotel during our short stay. Beach Club closed one full day without any information to the guests. The pool closed two days. Basically the services which the hotel is offering on their website is not available as promised. The hotel is selling the Beach Club to private parties so they earn the money twice: from the guests who is promised the availablitiy to the Beach Club and from […] private parties. The staff in the Beach Club and reception was not able to give a proper answer on our complain and didn't understand that for us the beach club was the main reason we have chosen their hotel. The breakfast is badly organized but the student waiter, Nils, was doing a good job and provided a good service (actually better than the regular staff) which made up for the bad organization. Very nice rooms and in a pretty good position. The shuttle service was great however often not running on time. The pool was very nice but ridiculous that you have to pay 18 Euro for a sun bed when you have already paid quite a large amount to stay at the hotel. Overall a pretty good hotel in a good position straight across from the beach.

The hotel’s service, particularly the bar staff at the pool, was horrible. By far the worst my wife and I have ever experienced in our lives. The only thing that saved the hotel from getting a “1” for service in my review was that they refunded the lunch we had at the rooftop pool after making repeated complains and outright refusing to pay it. Sat […] down at rooftop bar on first day and were forced to wait 45 minutes before being offered so much as a water despite the extreme heat. Nobody at the hotel apologized or wanted to take any responsibility when we complained. Be prepared to pay 15 euro per person if you want a chair at the pool. I realize you pay for a chair at the beach, but why not just raise the prices by 15 euro per night instead of gouging for this? Hotel is close to the airport which is a plus, but is a half hour walk each way into town, with really no restaurant option in between. If it wasn’t for the service, I might recommend this hotel if you don’t care about being close to town, but as a middle of the road hotel at best it can’t overcome the extremely poor service and attitude. Radisson blue in Nice was a very pleasent experience for me my wife and my daughter from the moment I parked my rental car at the hotel entrance at the prommenade Des Anglais. Valet is very prompt, check in very swift, very helpful in answering any and all questions, rooms are really beautiful and comfortble. Concierge always available to answer any […] questions. Roof top restaurant and pool are great particularly in the evening. And all of this with a great smile from the staff who give you the impression that they are here to help and you are indeed welcome - something not very usual in major French tourist distension like Nice. We so much enjoyed an afternoon of bicycle ride on the prommenade using the hotel rental bicycles. Location is very safe and at reasonable distance from anywhere you want to go in Nice. The hotel, the facilities and the service was very good. Having a meal and/or a drink in the hotel is expensive. The rooftop pool area is very well fitted out with nice sunbeds,cushions and towels. These are unfortunately not free, but very expensive to hire, either for a half day or a full day. There is a courtesy bus which runs every hour from 10am […] until 7pm to take you to the town centre which is approx 3 kms away. The last bus back to the hotel is at 7:15pm. The local buses seem to stop at about the same time, which means either a 40 minute walk or a taxi which is expensive. There is a bus stop on both sides of the road outside the hotel. You can go either direction up or down the coast to Cannes or Monaco or direct to the airport very cheaply. About 100ms from the hotel prostitutes hang around in the evenings. Read more

笑顔を見せる事が損だと思っているのか？というくらい横柄な対応に驚かされました。特にコンシェルジュはアジア人が嫌いなのか、尊大な態度であきれました。プライベートビーチは有料ですし、ホテルのレンタル自転車を借りるにもチャージがかかります。旧市街までバスが出ていますが、本数や時間に限りがあるため、旧市街のホテルに宿泊した方が良いと思います。プライスなり満足感はありませんでした。

Mycket bra och trevligt hotell. Fräscht, rymligt trebäddsrum med fin utsikt. Bra stenstrand och bra pool. Blev däremot lite chockade över att det kostade 18 Euro att hyra en solstol både på stranden och på hotellets takpool även om man var hotellgäst. Man har heller ingen förtur på stranden som hotellgäst utan vem som helst får hyra en stol så mankan […] bli utan. Viktigt att man förbokar solstolar vilket ingen informerat oss om. Frukostbuffén kostade 23 Euro och var mycket bra. Det negativa är dock läget på hotellet, det ligger långt från stadskärnan och det är svårt att få tag på taxi kvällstid och bussarna slutar gå tidigt. Det blev många sena promenader och det pågår en "viss" typ av tjänsteförsäljning mellan city och hotellet som vår dotter inte tyckte var så behaglig. Read more

Detta verkade gälla att de säger Ja till det mesta, men sedan inte ser till att genomföra det.Vi fick flera ggr felaktig information av hotellpersonal,vilket påverkade resan på flera sätt.Hotellet är fräscht men uppfyller absolut inte de krav som de själva eller hotels.com lovar.Vi kommer definitivt inte resa tillbaka till detta hotell som verkligen gjorde vår efterlängtade semester till något helt annat än planerat.Det är 1a gången vi blivit besvikna på ett hotell,då vi alltid väljer boende med omsorg och läser på ordentligt!
