"Great views, nice facility, good value"
Great location. Great room, great views. They have not fully taken advantage of their fantastic location, overlooking Taal Volcano, right in the middle of Tagaytay City. The landscaping and design are mediocre. We got a room with a jacuzzi tub. The tub did work, but you had to hold your hand on the button for 40 minutes to fill the tub - take your hand […] away and the water stops. This shows an annoying lack of trust in the guests (or maybe it was just broken). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Went to relax jacuzzi wasn't working pool was dirty. Get to the room cable was blurry old tv bad color.not enough towels half the lights didn't work. The phone cord kept coming out the phone. The staff very friendly but my relax day was a stress dayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable, basic, great views."
I really enjoyed the overnight stay to Tagaytay. The beds are soft and comfortable. I would say it would feel more like a motel in a western country with basic and clean facilities. The building is dated and so are the rooms but they were still comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel relies on its location the views are amazing, the rest of the hotel is old and tired and it was busy on 2of the days and it was obvious he staff could not cope the food standard and service dropped. Ok when quietGenuine Expedia guest review
"Fantastic Location. Fantastic view, ."
Could be a Fantastic hotel if they spent some money on it ,but it is seriously in need of Renovation works. The staff were lovely and helpful ,but most wore a badge that said OJT. This meant they did not receive any salary but were being given On The Job Training !Cheap way of getting people to work for nothing ! That is one reason i would never go […] back to the Days Hotel Group anywhere . The Hotel ran out of everything from Orange juice to whiskey! From Corn Flakes to steaks. What a shambles! What do you expect from a Company that "Lays off " its few permanent staff when they have low amount of Hotel Guests. Someone at the top should get a grip as it has the Potential to be a Fantastic Hotel ! Employ permanent staff and treat them decent and invest some money in it !! "cost efficient choice to experience tagaytay"
Tagaytay's main attraction is Taal lake and Taal volcano. This hotel sits on the ridge with a good view of Taal lake, among all the choices we had for such an accommodation, Days Hotel was the most cost efficient, specially considering that we would only need to have a place to sleep for the night. The hotel is fairly clean. It was running full during […] our stay and probably had their staff a little tired the location of the hotel is right in the middle of Tagaytay ridge, probably equidistant from Tagaytay Highlands and the other end of the ridge going down to Batangas. All in all, a value for money experience and one that we may well repeat in the future Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
the hotel room was okay but I think they really need to change their carpets. Especially on the hallways....Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient and value for money"
We had a pleasant stay at Days Hotel. Staff are courteous. Breakfast is good. I just wished though that the carpets are cleaned better, especially along the hallways.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and view but dated hotel with"
I stayed here for one night with my family while visiting Tagaytay and the Taal Volcano. The location of this hotel is very close to bars and restaurants in Tagaytay and has a wonderful view of Lake Taal. However the room was very dated and the bathroom was in dire need of modernisation. The balcony door would not lock and I had to wait 3 hours before […] someone came to fix it. The swimming pool was very dirty so we decided not to use it. I think they had recently cut the grass and it was full of grass and leaves. The staff were polite at all times and answered all our requests. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed for 3 nights at Days Inn Hotel, and it isnt the best hotel in Tagatay but it was very comfortable with a fantastic view over the lake towards the volcano. The room had everthing you needed for a comfortable stay, also had 2 queen size beds (bonus) also the breakfast was great, with an excellent view also. All rooms have this view and honestly, when […] you wake in the morning and take in this magnificent view, well it is breathtaking. There is also a pool for those stifling hot days which is a welcome relief. For the money this hotel is very much worth every dollar Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Needs some freshening up"
03/17/15 tabbygirlche Paranaque, Philippines
I stayed here sometime in 2008, when it was still fairly new and expensive. Went back here a couple of times and I must say that the place needs a facelift. Probably the only redeeming factor at this time would be the restaurant at the lobby, where they serve a good breakfast buffet. The view of Taal Lake and the volcano are lovely, especially when you get a seat by the window at the restaurant. It's also close to the rotunda, with the grocery stores and fast food restaurants, and a manageable distance from the church and the restaurant row. However, the facade could use a facelift or, at the most, a freshening up, since it looks old and dingy. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
"Best views from rooms"
12/10/14 amitaguha2002 Manila, Philippines
Days Hotel Tagaytay is our favourite place for overnight stays. All the rooms have balconies overlooking the Taal Volcano. Hotel rooms are on a downhill slope from the top floor entrance lobby and ending in a huge garden with swimming pool and cabanas. No chance of getting a bad room ! Swimming pool has a warm Jacuzzi pool for cold evenings. The view from the room is awesome , morning and evening when the lights turn on. We were there one full moon night and cant forget the view of Taal lake reflecting the silver moon and the blinking lights of distant towns. Rooms are large and comfortable with 2 queen beds. Breakfast is not worth mentioning !!
"Great location and views, friendly staff"

We stayed one night in a room with a separate shower and a jacuzzi tub. I explained on check in that we are locals, we are mainly staying to use the tub, if it doesn't work or we can't take a hot bath, I will be requesting a refund. Well the tub did work, sort of. It was not quite as hot as I'd like but warm enough. The annoying this is that the water stops flowing in unless you are constantly pressing on a large button behind the faucet. So I had to sit there for about 40 minutes pressing down on it. There was no menu for breakfast, and limited options. I liked my omelette, my partner was not as pleased with his hot dog, fish, and rice. That was the only meal we ate there. The room was very nice, good-sized, with a balcony, large (for a hotel) refrigerator, large, comfortable bed, great view, nice design. The staff was friendly. The location is fantastic - secluded spot with great views right in the middle of downtown Tagaytay. However, Days has not done a great job of maximizing these attributes. The outside of the hotel looks drab and cheap - frankly I think the Days Hotel logo screams cheap. The landscaping is OK but in the right hands could be beautiful. Overall it's a decent value.

For the price I thought it was a great hotel. When we drove to Tagaytay we arrived late at night and were tired and hungry. We went to several hotels that were a little out of our price range, finally I tried this one and the receptionist gave us a good deal. The room was clean and the view was breathtaking. It also has a nice restaurant. The staff was excellent.
09/22/14 gabby_dear Manila,
Everything looks and smells so old. Room and Lobby Needs a facelift. Receptionists were friendly but needs to improve on communication skills... Only thing good was the breakfast that they brought in the room... Must have paid lesser than 140USD. Terrible.
"Average hotel with nice view"
08/27/14 NORMZZ Chicago, Illinois
My fiance and I recently stayed here for a Tagaytay getaway--low season so there's really very few people. The hotel needs a lot of renovations and facility improvement--bed sheets, toiletry, dirty and moldy paints, etc. Unfortunately I have learned that the place has been ravaged by the recent typhoon too so even telephone connections were affected. Even so, the place needs facelift --the location and views are beautiful so the hotel just needs improvements. Food were very Filipino-friendly --good for those who love breakfast buffet. There are few bread selections for nonrice eaters. The frontdesk staff is commendable for their assistance in smooth check-in. Overall, the place is an average, affordable hotel--with a lot of potential to be more pleasant.

Oh, this hotel. Thinking about this hotel makes my head hurt. It badly needs renovation!!! The hotel was very very old as well as their amenities, room, bathroom, lobby, elevator, everything! Don't stay at this hotel unless you want to stay at a haunted hotel.

This is a reasonable hotel. It is just away from the noisy party area in tagaytay but close enough to go to that, so this makes the location ideal. A little expensive for what it is and considering other options, but still reasonable.

To be honest with you, this hotel has seen better days. The carpet on the corridors had a musty smell and the overall feel of the hotel is dated. Our room was average. we initially booked a deluxe but opted for a downgrade to a superior, because the room smelled better and looked cleaner. The air conditioning was cold (a must for my kids) and the shower worked well (Hot water in an instant). They have a pool open til 10pm which will keep the little ones busy. The view of taal Lake was great though, And can be enjoyed from any of their rooms and the garden. It's just too bad the garden hasn't been pampered that much lately. But you get the same friendly, reliable, no fuss service the Days Hotel group is known for. This hotel has potential owing to its great location, just off the roundabout (easy to get to especially in Tagaytay traffic on Sundays) and in close proximity to a Catholic church and great dining places. I imagine it would benefit greatly from some sprucing up and updating and upgrading of their facilities.
We had our seminar/review here last january. The location is great,we can see the taal lake with a perfect view. All rooms have a view to the lake at the same time the hotel's swimming pool.Convenience store is just a 5-minute walk or less. Service was great,we stayed for a week, rooms are cleaned everyday, linens and towels are always fresh. The staff are always helpful, they always find a way for us to be satisfied. To sum it all up,our stay was perfect,no hassles at all. The hotel doesnt look haunted. It's actually a place where we can find peace and solitude.
