The location is so convenient.Overall i will recommend it to anyone.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Basic Hotel with a Good view"
Like expected of Days Inn, it is a basic hotel. The room was as expected, nothing special, if ever it could use some brightening, but the view in the breakfast area was awesome. The pool area and grass area were also above average and so was the view from the rooms. The free breakfast was also above average.Genuine Expedia guest review
It took about 1.5 hours to check in. They will not take Expedia confirmation number. They keep on asking for a paper confirmation. Even when I showed them the E-mail showing a confirmation and paid booking from Expedia, they will not allow me to check-in. It is very frustrating moment for me. One lady at the front desk said it is ok. Another guy said […] it is not. He want to charge my credit card more than what the Expedia site says. I will not recommend this hotel. "Convenient location in Tagaytay"
Cheap and convenient! Nothing much to write aboutGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fantastic Location. Fantastic view, ."
Could be a Fantastic hotel if they spent some money on it ,but it is seriously in need of Renovation works. The staff were lovely and helpful ,but most wore a badge that said OJT. This meant they did not receive any salary but were being given On The Job Training !Cheap way of getting people to work for nothing ! That is one reason i would never go […] back to the Days Hotel Group anywhere . The Hotel ran out of everything from Orange juice to whiskey! From Corn Flakes to steaks. What a shambles! What do you expect from a Company that "Lays off " its few permanent staff when they have low amount of Hotel Guests. Someone at the top should get a grip as it has the Potential to be a Fantastic Hotel ! Employ permanent staff and treat them decent and invest some money in it !! "cost efficient choice to experience tagaytay"
Tagaytay's main attraction is Taal lake and Taal volcano. This hotel sits on the ridge with a good view of Taal lake, among all the choices we had for such an accommodation, Days Hotel was the most cost efficient, specially considering that we would only need to have a place to sleep for the night. The hotel is fairly clean. It was running full during […] our stay and probably had their staff a little tired the location of the hotel is right in the middle of Tagaytay ridge, probably equidistant from Tagaytay Highlands and the other end of the ridge going down to Batangas. All in all, a value for money experience and one that we may well repeat in the future Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
the hotel room was okay but I think they really need to change their carpets. Especially on the hallways....Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We had a pleasant stay at Days Hotel. Staff are courteous. Breakfast is good. I just wished though that the carpets are cleaned better, especially along the hallways.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and view but dated hotel with"
I stayed here for one night with my family while visiting Tagaytay and the Taal Volcano. The location of this hotel is very close to bars and restaurants in Tagaytay and has a wonderful view of Lake Taal. However the room was very dated and the bathroom was in dire need of modernisation. The balcony door would not lock and I had to wait 3 hours before […] someone came to fix it. The swimming pool was very dirty so we decided not to use it. I think they had recently cut the grass and it was full of grass and leaves. The staff were polite at all times and answered all our requests. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed for 3 nights at Days Inn Hotel, and it isnt the best hotel in Tagatay but it was very comfortable with a fantastic view over the lake towards the volcano. The room had everthing you needed for a comfortable stay, also had 2 queen size beds (bonus) also the breakfast was great, with an excellent view also. All rooms have this view and honestly, when […] you wake in the morning and take in this magnificent view, well it is breathtaking. There is also a pool for those stifling hot days which is a welcome relief. For the money this hotel is very much worth every dollar Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Average hotel with nice view"
08/27/14 NORMZZ Singapore, Singapore
My fiance and I recently stayed here for a Tagaytay getaway--low season so there's really very few people. The hotel needs a lot of renovations and facility improvement--bed sheets, toiletry, dirty and moldy paints, etc. Unfortunately I have learned that the place has been ravaged by the recent typhoon too so even telephone connections were affected. Even so, the place needs facelift --the location and views are beautiful so the hotel just needs improvements. Food were very Filipino-friendly --good for those who love breakfast buffet. There are few bread selections for nonrice eaters. The frontdesk staff is commendable for their assistance in smooth check-in. Overall, the place is an average, affordable hotel--with a lot of potential to be more pleasant.

Oh, this hotel. Thinking about this hotel makes my head hurt. It badly needs renovation!!! The hotel was very very old as well as their amenities, room, bathroom, lobby, elevator, everything! Don't stay at this hotel unless you want to stay at a haunted hotel.

This is a reasonable hotel. It is just away from the noisy party area in tagaytay but close enough to go to that, so this makes the location ideal. A little expensive for what it is and considering other options, but still reasonable.

To be honest with you, this hotel has seen better days. The carpet on the corridors had a musty smell and the overall feel of the hotel is dated. Our room was average. we initially booked a deluxe but opted for a downgrade to a superior, because the room smelled better and looked cleaner. The air conditioning was cold (a must for my kids) and the shower worked well (Hot water in an instant). They have a pool open til 10pm which will keep the little ones busy. The view of taal Lake was great though, And can be enjoyed from any of their rooms and the garden. It's just too bad the garden hasn't been pampered that much lately. But you get the same friendly, reliable, no fuss service the Days Hotel group is known for. This hotel has potential owing to its great location, just off the roundabout (easy to get to especially in Tagaytay traffic on Sundays) and in close proximity to a Catholic church and great dining places. I imagine it would benefit greatly from some sprucing up and updating and upgrading of their facilities.
We had our seminar/review here last january. The location is great,we can see the taal lake with a perfect view. All rooms have a view to the lake at the same time the hotel's swimming pool.Convenience store is just a 5-minute walk or less. Service was great,we stayed for a week, rooms are cleaned everyday, linens and towels are always fresh. The staff are always helpful, they always find a way for us to be satisfied. To sum it all up,our stay was perfect,no hassles at all. The hotel doesnt look haunted. It's actually a place where we can find peace and solitude.

When me, my wife & 8 yr old daughter arrived at this hotel on May 6 from Manila (by bus) we were never reluctant to check in because I already made a research on this hotel & the other hotels of the same rate in the internet. For us it was a very satisfying accommodation considering that we arrived there before 11am and since it is a weekday so there are lots of vacant rooms available. We stayed here for 2 nights. The room (at level E) was very spacious with 2 queen size beds which my daughter preferred to occupy one, The veranda gave us a beautiful view of the Taal lake and early morning breeze. The place was very clean, quite, and secured. The staff were courteous, helpful, and very friendly. The in-house restaurant serves delicious food specially when we had lunch at reasonable price. The location is very near to the center of the city, a walking at distance to the jeepney terminal to the people's park and nearby attractions. The rooms' facility are probably outdated but they are functioning well. My only concern is that they don't have a wifi in the rooms. Well I agree that the hotel should upgrade into a world class hotel probably next time when we visit Tagaytay. Generally it was worth it!

"Customer service sucks"
04/27/14 Wanderlust00013 Manila, Manila, Philippines
First of all, we only stayed here 'cause all of our preferred hotels are fully booked already. Checking in took longer than expected, considering we already had a reservation, they asked us a lot of unnecessary questions like we didnt gave any credit card number prior our booking, they didnt even know that before you can confirm a reserved room on their site, you MUST give your creditcard number. Room is okay, spacy, good enough if you're just looking for room to stay in for the night but overpriced. You must pay for a toothbrush which should already be included in the set of toiletries. Customer service sucks, something went wrong with our safety box, we had followed it up 5 times before we went outside and 3 times when we got back in the hotel before someone attended to us. Last thing, they still owe us a change, and it still took them 15-20mins before they could give our money. I asked what's the problem, before it's wasting our time waiting for them, they said that the change was not posted on their system, so I asked again why, they did NOT give any answers and didnt even apologized for the inconvenienced. I would never come back nor recommend this hotel ever.
"Great View and Gracious Staff"
02/23/14 Measaura Quezon City, Philippines
My husband and two kids aged 12 and 4 years old stayed for an overnight stay. We booked via walk-in and luckily they have a promo that day for standard room of free breakfast buffet and Mongolian Dinner buffet for two. The front-desk staff that day was very helpful and the staff was attentive. The size of the room was large enough, their toilets clean. The great thing is the porch that showed a great view of Tall volcano and Lake plus the location of the hotel was quiet neighbourhood. We enjoyed the pool for children but it was cold and we didn't stay long. The Mongolian Dinner was not very delicious. But you can have healthy choices as well. The only downside is that the hotel is old and the carpets are smelly. Overall however my family and I had a great time.
