This Courtyard by Marriott has a great lobby, nice places to eat and chat, fireplace, and lots of really nice computers in their business area. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful! I left my laptop in the room, called when I realized it, and they had already secured it in the manager's office and willingly FedEx'd it to me the next day. The hotel is very convenient for visiting someone at the University of Rochester, which is what I was doing. I stayed there 2 years ago when doing the same. It's convenient to all the highways and for getting around to other areas, such as Pittsford, Webster, etc.

My teenage son and I stayed here while we were touring colleges in upstate NY. Very convenient to RIT's campus. Super-friendly staff, wonderful beds with plenty of pillows, and very comfortable room. After many hours of driving and walking around a campus on a 90+degree day, we didn't want to venture out to find a restaurant for dinner. if you like cold rooms at night, this is not hotel for you. AC in my room was terrible, hallway and outside were both 10 degrees cooler than my room. Lobby was nice with bistro restaurant and bar.

The location is in an office park, with a few chain restaurants such as TGI Friday's within a short walk. The hotel is newish, well maintained, and my wife and I thought the staff was helpful and friendly. They picked us up at Enterprise when I turned my car in the evening before our return flight, and shuttled us again to the airport the next morning. […] It's about a 10 minute ride to the airport. We had wine at the small bar in the lobby, and our RIT student bartender was most enjoyable. Dinner at the very close independent restaurant, Phillips European, was very good. Breakfast which was included in our rate (apparently not the norm - and we paid quite a bit for the room rate) was good with Starbucks coffee. If I had business in the office park or nearby I would not hesitate to stay again. Read more

Very nice property.The lobby area was very inviting and the breakfeast in that space proved to be convenient and somewhat novel[in a good way]. The room was also very inviting with more than enough space. There were more than a couple of lunch/dinner restaurant options in the immediate area. All in all, a relaxed and pleasant stay.

The Rochester Marriott Courtyard-Brighton was just as expected! Newly updated and nice beds, housekeeping needs to pay a little closer attention to detail- a piece of chewed gum was left stuck on shower curtain rod by a previous guest, also dust on lamps/accessories, and windows needed cleaning.

Lots of fun times living next door to friends. But with a lack of essential items like a kettle or general sink is meh. I'd prefer to have two sinks in the washroom and outside just for easier access and multiple users to get access to water.
