It was not good . Hotel was NOT CLOSE to airport. I was told 5 min away. Fights all night in parking lot. Could not get vehicle out . Police were arresting gang bangers. Heater in room would not work. What a dive!

Place was in a great location, hotel is very run down.. but I've been in one's just as old, same cond that were twice more a night. Very convent location, staff was great, very friendly and helpful... allowed me a late check out w/ no problems. I'd stay again but only for 1 night.. beds were just too old. I was in town for my fathers funeral at arlington. So I brought my suit with me and my OWN hangers. When I got there I hung up my suit on MY hangers for the following morning. We went to the funeral the following morning. When we got back to the hotel, they had cleaned the room and took MY hangers and threw them away. I would expect to be staying at a place in this condition in some small rural town for half the price not in our Nation's Capital. It is badly in neede of renovations and new management. The front desk was very helpful with everything we asked for. They even arranged a ride for us to get to the airport. I was very satisfied with the stay, the room was clean and it was a great location, every place was within walking distance.

This was half the cost of the next cheapest hotel, but it was very basic. While for the most part the place was clean it was very dated and was in serious need of updating. The best part was the cost. The worst was a shower that would fluctuate from hot to cold whenever someone else turned on a sink or flushed a toilet.

I have stayed here on prior visits to Georgetown University. I travel for a living and staying in downtown D.C. doesn't excite me. The prices are high and it is too crowded. This location is very handy, it may take up to 30 minutes to reach the campus at rush hour. There are quite a few good places to eat nearby. The hotel was satisfactory. The rooms required a much needed update, but they were clean. My room had one problem, the excessive heat! I saw this in other reviews and now you will see it in mine. It was around 32 degrees so it wasn't hot outside. My solution was to turn off all heat sources(don't try to use the fan, it blows hot) and open my bathroom […] window. The staff at this hotel were extremely rude. When I asked if there were nearby restaurants, they said yes. When I asked for further info, I was told "behind the hotel" - no other info was provided. The first room I received didn't have heat. On a night when temps were in the 30's, this was very uncomfortable. Located about 20 mins from downtown and 20 mins to Pentagon City. Rosslyn is the nearest metro station and is only a mile down the road from the hotel. The hotel was adequate, the desk clerk uninterested in providing anything but necessary communication or service. Ran out of hot water on the second morning and had to take a cold shower. Major snow storm was predicted but it was mostly snow flurries and rain. When I asked for the advertised van ride from the hotel to the Metro station the desk clerk […] said it was too dangerous to drive the van. At that point there was no accumulation on the roads and only light flurries were falling. I drove my car into Washington. The roads were absolutely clear of snow and most traffic. There was no reason the van couldn't have driven down the road to the Metro station. The desk clerk simply had the attitude that he couldn't be bothered. The Hotel had no curb appeal. The room was extra small. The toilet got stopped up and the same person that came for that serve was the same one attending the breakfast and preparing the shuttle for the first run to the metro. The room was the SMALLEST hotel I've ever been in in my life and explains why there weren't many people at this location. Additionally door […] was less than great and I had zero space in the room. What good is the iron if you have no space for the ironing board !!!! Desk staff was less than courteous and the wifi was ridiculously slow. Television wasn't even in SD, and didn't stay on for more than two hours at a time without going out. The location was the best part and needless to say that's what saved this experience for me.
