Probably the best Days Inn that I have stayed at. Nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and clean. We were on the second floor and had a lot of (heavy) luggage. Was there an elevator? I couldn't find it. Because I really needed one of those.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Best Day´s inn I ever stayed at"
really good hotel, clean, nice staff, at route 66, try one of the diners if you stay here. Nice Breakfast. Internet was slow.Genuine Expedia guest review
Your basic chain hotel/motel with the standard room amenities found in most chain hotels/motels. Registration and housekeeping staffs were helpful and friendly, but the staff maintaining and stocking the breakfast room seemed put out by the number of guests using the facility. The air conditioner in my room was not up to the task and the TV service […] which was provided by Direct TV was constantly losing its signal. I informed the hotel staff of those problems and they were very apologetic. I would stay at this hotel again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very nice reception staff"
We booked this at the last minute and loved the feel of Route 66 Williams. The receptionist was charming and the wifi wasn't as problematic as it has been on this trip. My son was pleased with the waffle maker at breakfast although again I wish these hotels could manage real silverware and china plates instead of polystyrene and plastic. The breakfast […] we expected was continental but in fact there was scrambled eggs and link sausages. Room was very nice and very good value on a bank holiday weekend. We drove to Williams for supper and ate in an old fashioned diner which felt period. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great choice in Williams, AZ"
We stayed on the 2nd floor for three nights. We visited the Grand Canyon for two days, using our rented car and the free shuttle bus system. The hotel gave us a coupon for 15% off at a local Italian restaurant, which was very good. They have a very nice pool and hot tub, which, unfortunately, we didn't get to use.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very good experience overall....clean and spacious...Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Grand Canyon"
I've always considered Days Inn a budget hotel and was pleasantly surprised how nice everything was. Our room was clean, fresh and comfortable beds. There was an indoor pool and jacuzzi that was convenient if you decided to use them. The morning breakfast had moist scrabbled eggs, perfectly cook sausage, the coldest milk and waffles plus all of the […] other common items. It was one of the best I've had. Nice and clean hotel with friendly service. We stayed there for only 1 night, but we were pleased! Only the bed is a little bit too soft, but this is a matter of taste.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very nice and quiet hotel."
We stayed a night that they were booked solid. It was a very quiet night. The next morning the breakfast was very good and kept very well stocked! We were very pleased with the comfort of the bed and the cleanliness of the facility.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel except for ..."
We enjoyed most aspects of our stay in this hotel which include: Very friendly staff, decent breakfast, ample parking, good housekeeping. The things that annoyed us were the lack of soundproofing. We checked in pretty late in the night and wanted to rest until at least 8 am. But turns out that its not you who can have that choice in this hotel but the […] guests staying right above your room have that control. They got up at 6am and due to very very poor sound proofing, we could hear them walk, talk -- loud and clear. So, there was no choice for us than to get up and get out. Also, sound coming from air conditioning unit in the room was annoying. You can expect five stars on everything except a good night's sleep in this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Enjoyed Stay In Williams Days Inn"
Recent renovation of 40 year old facility well done. Staff great, room clean, very good breakfast, a good night's stay on the way to the Grand Canyon. Good location at the outside of town. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Days Inn Williams Thank you for the kind review. We are glad you noticed our renovations. This hotel was built in 1988 and we have completely remodeled the hotel within the past three years including all new furniture, fridges, microwaves, beds, chairs, and lots more. I hope if you are ever back in the area you will be sure to stop in again!
The room was OK. However there was no elevator which may it inconvenient to haul luggage up to the 2nd floor. WiFi didn't work. Hotel went too far with water conservation with the shower. Near the freeway outside of town. Good breakfast included.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Days Inn Williams Thank your review. Our tech support has checked on our internet after your review. This is a brand new system put in only a few months ago. Our water has low pressure due to the drought we are going through here in Williams. This is controlled by the City of Williams. Again thank you for your review. We love to here from our guest and make sure we are listening to your experiences so we know how to improve overall.
"Happy I changed."
Had booked a different motel, then read the reviews and changed to this one. It was worth the cancellation fee, very clean and pleasant. Nothing broken or worn looking, everything worked. The breakfast room was full - a busload of tourists, but when they left, the breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this motel.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Days Inn Williams Thank you so much for the review of Days Inn Williams. Reviews like this show that we are headed in the right direction. We hope to see you again!
"1 night & off to the Grand Canyon"
The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The free breakfast was very good. The only disappointment was that our room was on the second floor & no elevator meant hauling heavy luggage up & down a full flight of steps. My husband has a hip injury & the friend we were traveling with has limited lung capacity so this was a problem. Wish we had known […] this when we booked. There were no rooms available on the first floor, so we made the most of it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Days Inn Williams I am sorry you were stuck on the first floor in this condition. We do our best to leave rooms open on the first floor for cases like this. If you come back and need assistance our front desk or anyone of our staff members would be more than happy to help load and unload your luggage for you. We hope you had a great time at the Grand Canyon and hope you will stop by again in the future.
The hotel was ok, as was the staff. No major wow factor here, but no complaints neither.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Days Inn Williams Our goal is to provide that WOW factor and do more then just satisfy our guest. We would love to hear more from you about how we could do that on your next stay with us. I am glad you were overall satisfied with your stay.
"Nice location, good bfast, staff not helpful"
After a day at the grand canyon, we made the 45-50min drive down to Williams to stay at a cheaper hotel and it was worth the savings from the higher priced hotels next to the park entrance. This location is about .5-1mile from the downtown williams area, so you'll have to drive to check out the Route 66 themed restaurants, bars and shops, but parking […] is pretty easy to find. Williams is a cool little town. The breakfast was awesome at this place, included in the stay and it's a true full hot breakfast, buffet style, but they use quality products, they don't cut corners. My frustration with the check-in staff was their policy that they couldn't change the reservation I made through the hotels-com website, stating it was company policy. We just wanted to get 2 doubles instead of a king, and they confirmed their was space at the hotel to do it, but wouldn't move our room over. We get our room and the owners have signs stating that they strive for 5-star service and experience for guests but won't even accommodate a simple request that doesn't cost the hotel anything and makes my stay better. Poor choice in policy. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Days Inn Williams I am sorry about this experience with the staff. This is actually not a policy, but when a third party sends over a reservation it locks us out of the reservation from making any changes on it. In order to make changes to most third party reservations you need to contact the third party for these changes. We always approve small changes like this if space is available. We are going to contact the person who checked you in to inform her/him of the proper steps of dealing with a change such as this. Thank you for the review and informing us of this information. We do hope to see you again!

"Doors slam loud, nice bed, nice staff"
This was the one night of our trip in which we had no plans to wake up early, but the door slamming beginning at about 6:30 AM did not allow me to get a full night's sleep (they have a very heavy pull to them and unless you carefully hold the door as it closes, every door slams). I was looking forward to catching 7-8 hours of sleep, but no luck. The […] hotel inside looks nice, and the staff was very, very friendly. We arrived late, after 10 pm and the hotel was very quiet during the night. I imagine many guests were getting up early to head to the Grand Canyon. Even in the AM, we did not hear other rooms except for the doors slamming and a few footsteps above us (which I probably wouldn't have heard if I wasn't awake from the door slams). Our king room was nice, comfortable bed, and had a nice leather arm chair and a table with office chair. Room heater smelled like burning when running, forgot to mention to staff at check-out. Breakfast was good, pretty standard for a hot continental - pork sausage, eggs, fresh waffle makers, yogurt and granola, oatmeal, coffee, juice, Tazo tea, hot cocoa machine, bagels and cereal. Not much in the way of fruit (apples and oranges looked a bit sad). We also experienced poor water pressure while there, like another reviewer mentioned, though this was not a major issue for us. Just don't plan on sleeping in if you stay here, as guests are early risers! Was easy to find at the end of town on Rt 66. Plenty of gas stations. Safeway nearby, too. Response by Days Inn Williams Thank you so much for the detailed review. We like to hear every thing about our guests experiences. The doors slamming have been something that has been brought up as a way we could improve our hotel so we have ordered new door hinges that shut slowly. We hope this helps with this small issue and provides a better experience for everyone. If you are ever back in the area please stop by again and give us another chance.

"Perfect for stay on Grand Canyon vacation."
Other than the noisy neighbor upstairs(we stayed on first floor) the place is perfect for a family vacation. I loved the tea available all day and night long in the lobby. Rooms were clean, the hotel was near as a button. I swam in the indoor pool in the morning and really enjoyed the stay. Breakfast was better than the usual free breakfast because […] of the waffles you make yourself; fresh and hot. Location was not in town but very close. Could not have asked for more....well maybe better towels at the pool area. But that's it! The rest was great! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Loved Indoor Pool and Jaccuzzi"
Great hotel with above average hot breakfast. The bedding was excellent, except those pillows! Who thought of the pillows that make your head stay vertical? They are so bulky and hard! Everything else is perfect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
A nice place to stay on your way to or from the Grand Canyon's South Rim. Also, only 30 mins. away from the Planes of Fame Museum in Valle and 1 hr. 15 mins. from the Meteor Crater. Rooms was clean and the hotel allows pets for an additional $20/night. Includes a hot breakfast, but selection of breakfast items is rather limited.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice and friendly"
Everyone was very friendly, free break fast was delicious..Genuine Expedia guest review
We had a lovely stay at this Days Inn. I picked it based on the reviews I read for the hotels in the area. We stayed two nights while visiting the Grand Canyon. This is probably the best Days Inn we have stayed at. We enjoyed the proximity to Grand Canyon and the amenities. The free breakfast had a wide variety that the entire family was completely […] satisfied. The hotel staff was friendly and rendered excellent customer service. They recommended we take the Grand Canyon Dave Tours which was intimate and interactive. I highly recommend that tour. My 11 year old really appreciated the indoor pool that was open early and closed late. The location is very close to other restaurants and things to do such as Bearizona which was also something I recommend. We dined one evening at the Italian Bistro about 2 miles down the road and the lasagna was superb. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again if I visit the area. "I would stay here again"
Loved the breakfast. It included eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit plus all the carbs, granola, yogurt, toast, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. The staff were very friendly. The location is about a 50 minute drive to the South Rim Grand Canyon entrance. The town of Williams has cute shops and good restaurants. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We loved this place! Stayed 2 nights, around our trip to the Grand Canyon (about an hour's drive away). We left about 5 o'clock in the morning for the Canyon--and the staff packed us a bagel-and-fruit breakfast. (On another morning we enjoyed pretty decent scrambled eggs and bacon!) Room was clean, spacious and up-to-date. The beds--firm and well padded--were […] very comfortable. Especially appreciated: electrical outlets on bedside lamps, and at a small table, for convenient computer and cell phone hookups. Short drive to town, but too far to walk. But there's a Denny's right next door for a happy hour, or quick supper. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Best in the area"
During an 8-day trip we ended up staying in three different hotels in Williams. I wish we could have stayed at the Days Inn all along, but alas, they didn't have availability. This hotel is head and shoulders above the rest in the area and price-range. The room was spacious, they actually gave us the type of room we requested, and everything about the […] hotel felt fresh and clean, including the indoor pool. We travel to the ares twice a year, and this will definitely be our first choice from now on. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"No ESPN is a deal-breaker"
Overall a nice hotel for the price. We were looking for a quick stay in Williams before heading up to the Grand Canyon the next day. Main priorities were cost, WiFi, and free breakfast. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The only major drawback was that there was no ESPN. They marketed themselves as having 100 channels through Direct TV, but […] did not carry ESPN. Really?!? How can a hotel not have ESPN? Just based on that alone, I will not go back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"great Hotel, great price, great value"
Room was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels... We used the coin laundry, they sell detergent for $1 at the front desk, worked great... The indoor pool and hot tub was great... since the temp. outside was colder. The b-fast is awesome, lots of variety, waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels etc etc... there is a Denny's in the same parking […] lot, but it has weird hours and was closed by 5pm on weds. when we were looking for dinner.. but it may have been off season since we were there mid-march. There was lots of restaurants that were closed by 7pm, and we ended up at a place called "Jessica's" ... not a quality restaurant. I won't eat there again! The only positive thing I could say is it didnt give us food poisoning. We did eat at the Pedro's Mexican restaurant. They have hand-crafted beers, Get the sampler for $10. It was good food at a decent price. We were in Williams to travel and do the grand canyon. The Days Inn was a great place to stay! We also took the grand canyon railroad into the park.. that was well worth the price, great experience! my kids 7 and 14 yrs old loved it!!! great way to see one of the natural wonders of the world!
