"Grand Canyon Trip"
This hotel impressed us! The staff was fantastic, especially the woman who was there for the breakfasts. She was constantly cleaning and re-stocking. She was so friendly and helpful to the guests. The breakfast served there was the best of our entire 9 day road trip! The room was clean, my only small complaint is that there wasn't any lighting in one […] area of the room and it was dark to see what was in my suitcase. Both lights were in one corner by the window, or by the bed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent value. Nice and quiet location, great beds!! Did not have an elevator but the stairs were manageable. We would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Grand Canyon Visit"
Stayed at Day Inn at Williams, Az for two nights. Enjoy the free breakfast, it was plentiful. It was fun making breakfast waffles. Room is clean, indoor pool was fun. Staff are friendly and helpful. About an hour drive to the Grand Canyon. Overall I was very please with the hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Probably the nicest hotel in Williams, AZ"
Nice, clean hotel with a decent breakfest setup. Internet was super slow and almost useless. The hotel is located about an hour from the South Rim entrance of Grand Canyon and is outside the downtown area of Williams. Highly recommend visiting the downtown area of Williams.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, easy access to Grand Canyon"
Very clean room. Nice b'fast with real scrambled eggs. Room was a little dark.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Beats the alternatives"
Going to the Grand Canyon, we looked at hotels in the park and those located at the gates to the park. All were expensive. The Days Inn in Williams AZ got excellent reviews and was priced well below all the other hotels we saw. We booked. The hotel is reasonably comfortable for the price, service was quite friendly, room reasonably comfortable and clean […] and the breakfast was good. The town was cute and had a variety of placed to visit, eat and shop. All in all - a good choice. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice place overall"
the location of the hotel is very secluded and very quiet, on the outside. The rooms were very clean and the service was top notch. My only complaint was that most people staying here was going to the Grand Canyon and getting up at four and five in the morning, which is what we was doing, but the doors here slam very loud. It seemed like you could hear […] every sound from outside in the hallway, and the rooms above you. The hotel was recently remodeled, but I wasn't impressed with the insulation in the rooms. It was a shame because the rooms were very nice. We were there for four days, but did not get very good sleep at all. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice hotel in a little town..."
It's a nice place to stay. It's conveniently located outside of downtown Williams. It's quiet at night. Breakfast in the morning was good.Genuine Expedia guest review
Everything was great but the room was a smelling smoking room. We asked for a no smoking roomGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Grand Canyon Visit"
Great place to stay, a little bit out the way of Williams but that means it is comparatively quiet. Family friendly. Nice breakfast in the morning, typical of Days Inn. Indoor pool was enjoyed by the children but it is very echo-ey so it isn't very relaxing is that is what you are looking for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, away from the action"
Very cordial staff. Nice pool. Adjoining rooms were nice. A/C kept some of us awake, but not really surprising. A short drive to the bustling downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Clean Hotel but Still A Two Star Hotel"
I stayed here based on the excellent ratings and overall we were passing through to see the Grand Canyon so this turned out to be a pretty good value. The motel still feels like a two star hotel although it is clean and the staff is friendly. People smoking outside the doors, narrow hallways, small bathroom, truckers hanging out in the parking lot, […] property is a bit run down. But did come with a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was just ok. I am gluten free so I didn't find anything besides eggs I could eat. No meat. I would recommend this motel as a passing through motel but definitely not for a long term basis. The restaurant next door had terrible service but the food was delicious and the prices were ridiculously high. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I was sadly disappointed in this hotel. It was everything as described by all the reviews I read. Definitely not fancy but good accommodations, nice breakfast, right down the street from downtown Williams which is very charming. My disappointment came when on the morning of our first night there my husband said something was scratching his leg at night […] and when he reached down he found corn flakes in the bed (which we didn't have/eat in our room and which I found out later that morning was one of the cereal choices for breakfast) which obviously means the sheets were not changed/clean and left their from the previous guest. I called the front desk and the girl said she would relay the message to the manager when he came in. I attempted to call him myself but since I was at the Grand Canyon my phone reception was bad and we got disconnected. I just wanted to make sure we had clean sheets and pillowcases when we got back to our room at night. I didn't attempt to call back because I had no phone service and I figured the receptionist would relay the message. I was their for 3 nights and I never got a message from the hotel manager, no apology, no acknowledgment, no type of amends. I originally called the receptionist from my room and gave her my name and room number so I know he had it. I thought maybe when I checked out their would maybe be a message or SOMETHING from the hotel manager. Very disappointed. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Stay here before visiting the Grand Canyon"
My husband and I were very pleased with our stay here before visiting the Grand Canyon the next day. The free breakfast was great and included plenty of healthy choices. Staff was very friendly. The only negative was that both ice machines were broken while we were there. For this reason, we gave them a 4 for maintenance, but 5's for everything else. […] We hit the road after breakfast and it was almost a straight shot to the Grand Canyon (less than 1 hour). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I see more and more hotels making the wonderful choice to accommodate families and their animals. Found this gem on BringFido App and booked thru Hotels.com. We had dinner at Kicks restaurant next door for some good food and drinks...we ended up meeting the owners of both establishments! Really nice people. Next time we come thru we are for sure staying […] here! Only complaint would be not being able to open the window in our room all the way and enjoy the fresh air due to window locks. Great place wish we had more time to enjoy the indoor pool and spa...next time! Thank you guys! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice gateway to the Grand Canyon"
We stayed at the Days Inn in Williams for three nights during our visit to northern Ariz. It is located about a half mile outside of town, which was fine for us because we had transportation. Although they offer hot breakfast, the menu was the same for the three days we were there. It would have been nice to have a little variety. Also, finding a table […] at breakfast was a challenge, as the hotel was quite full. We didn't mind sharing a table with other travelers, so it was ok. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Friendly staff and clean room"
Nice place to stay, on edge of town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Next to another hotel-Best Western-Williams, AZ with great restaurant. Only problem was a faulty lock that would not engage unless one slammed the door. Room 118 needs to have complete reinstall of door frame/lock.Genuine Expedia guest review
Probably the best Days Inn that I have stayed at. Nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and clean. We were on the second floor and had a lot of (heavy) luggage. Was there an elevator? I couldn't find it. Because I really needed one of those.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Best Day´s inn I ever stayed at"
really good hotel, clean, nice staff, at route 66, try one of the diners if you stay here. Nice Breakfast. Internet was slow.Genuine Expedia guest review
Your basic chain hotel/motel with the standard room amenities found in most chain hotels/motels. Registration and housekeeping staffs were helpful and friendly, but the staff maintaining and stocking the breakfast room seemed put out by the number of guests using the facility. The air conditioner in my room was not up to the task and the TV service […] which was provided by Direct TV was constantly losing its signal. I informed the hotel staff of those problems and they were very apologetic. I would stay at this hotel again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very nice reception staff"
We booked this at the last minute and loved the feel of Route 66 Williams. The receptionist was charming and the wifi wasn't as problematic as it has been on this trip. My son was pleased with the waffle maker at breakfast although again I wish these hotels could manage real silverware and china plates instead of polystyrene and plastic. The breakfast […] we expected was continental but in fact there was scrambled eggs and link sausages. Room was very nice and very good value on a bank holiday weekend. We drove to Williams for supper and ate in an old fashioned diner which felt period. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great choice in Williams, AZ"
We stayed on the 2nd floor for three nights. We visited the Grand Canyon for two days, using our rented car and the free shuttle bus system. The hotel gave us a coupon for 15% off at a local Italian restaurant, which was very good. They have a very nice pool and hot tub, which, unfortunately, we didn't get to use.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Close to Grand Canyon"
I've always considered Days Inn a budget hotel and was pleasantly surprised how nice everything was. Our room was clean, fresh and comfortable beds. There was an indoor pool and jacuzzi that was convenient if you decided to use them. The morning breakfast had moist scrabbled eggs, perfectly cook sausage, the coldest milk and waffles plus all of the […] other common items. It was one of the best I've had. "Nice hotel except for ..."
We enjoyed most aspects of our stay in this hotel which include: Very friendly staff, decent breakfast, ample parking, good housekeeping. The things that annoyed us were the lack of soundproofing. We checked in pretty late in the night and wanted to rest until at least 8 am. But turns out that its not you who can have that choice in this hotel but the […] guests staying right above your room have that control. They got up at 6am and due to very very poor sound proofing, we could hear them walk, talk -- loud and clear. So, there was no choice for us than to get up and get out. Also, sound coming from air conditioning unit in the room was annoying. You can expect five stars on everything except a good night's sleep in this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Enjoyed Stay In Williams Days Inn"
Recent renovation of 40 year old facility well done. Staff great, room clean, very good breakfast, a good night's stay on the way to the Grand Canyon. Good location at the outside of town. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Days Inn Williams Thank you for the kind review. We are glad you noticed our renovations. This hotel was built in 1988 and we have completely remodeled the hotel within the past three years including all new furniture, fridges, microwaves, beds, chairs, and lots more. I hope if you are ever back in the area you will be sure to stop in again!
The room was OK. However there was no elevator which may it inconvenient to haul luggage up to the 2nd floor. WiFi didn't work. Hotel went too far with water conservation with the shower. Near the freeway outside of town. Good breakfast included.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Days Inn Williams Thank your review. Our tech support has checked on our internet after your review. This is a brand new system put in only a few months ago. Our water has low pressure due to the drought we are going through here in Williams. This is controlled by the City of Williams. Again thank you for your review. We love to here from our guest and make sure we are listening to your experiences so we know how to improve overall.
"Happy I changed."
Had booked a different motel, then read the reviews and changed to this one. It was worth the cancellation fee, very clean and pleasant. Nothing broken or worn looking, everything worked. The breakfast room was full - a busload of tourists, but when they left, the breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this motel.Genuine Expedia guest review

"1 night & off to the Grand Canyon"
The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The free breakfast was very good. The only disappointment was that our room was on the second floor & no elevator meant hauling heavy luggage up & down a full flight of steps. My husband has a hip injury & the friend we were traveling with has limited lung capacity so this was a problem. Wish we had known […] this when we booked. There were no rooms available on the first floor, so we made the most of it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Days Inn Williams I am sorry you were stuck on the first floor in this condition. We do our best to leave rooms open on the first floor for cases like this. If you come back and need assistance our front desk or anyone of our staff members would be more than happy to help load and unload your luggage for you. We hope you had a great time at the Grand Canyon and hope you will stop by again in the future.
