Quality Inn - Mesa

Hotel was clean and the shower was very relaxing (no tub in rooms). Rooms were large and there was a fridge provided. Well worth the price. A little hard to find as it is on the outskirts of the mall. Would stay again.

This hotel appears very old. The televisions are probably 15 years old. I will say that the staff has done the best with what they have. They are friendly and the room was as clean as it could be- just needs new carpet and updated everything. Also, these are true double beds so if you are used to a King or Queen it is an adjustment to share with someone. […] The windows actually open so you can air the stale hotel smell out of the room pretty easily. Great place to stay if you do not have transportation. Walking distance to a Walmart, mall and restaurants. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was decent (waffle maker, pastry assortment, fruit, cereal, juice etc). Room was clean and nice but not fancy. Fitness center was a random treadmill in a storage room. Pool was closed.

the hotel staff, lobby, and breakfast area were clean and maintained. The room I was in had carpet that was wrinkling up from the floor. The hot tub was broken during our stay, a major disappointment for us. The staff was very friendly and kind though. There rooms need a major remodel

I liked that the hotel had a prearranged deal with a local cab company for a flat rate of $15.00 from hotel to the Gateway airport. Most hotels in Mesa do not have shuttle service to the airport so this was very critical to my choosing the Sleep Inn.

The rooms were not updated. The tile in the bathroom was loose . The AC had one fan setting and in that area at this time of the year was so bad. The pool was so small.

The pool is super small, about as large as a standard living room. My bathroom was not very clean. I had trouble with the key and had to have it recharged and replaced 2 times. the staff was not professionally dressed and the breakfast was sparse and not fresh.

Hotel staff very friendly and tried to be helpful. Check-in was easy and organized. Don't think room had been vaccuumed in a long time--food crumbs in drawers, at foot of beds, etc. Sheets were clean and so was bathroom though--even if well worn. Air conditioner was so-so. This is an older facility that was in the process of being updated while we were there--the room was comfortable and clean, the beds were terrific. The desk people were delightful including a young man who had been to a Kiss concert and his "makeup" was more permanent than he'd expected. This hotel was great ! , my room was quiet and comfortable, the bed was terrific( very comfortable), the staff was nice and willing to help, there was access to wi-fi or you could use the computer they had down stairs, they did have a hot breakfast but i had to leave so early i did not get to have any. While I understant that one usually gets what one pays for, I could have upgraded to a local hotel with many ammenaties for $40 more. My carpet was badly stained and looked dirty. Shower stall was small with cigarette burns on the counter. Hotel staff was, however, very friendly and helpful.

We had a great time at the Sleep Inn. Our son lives in Gold Canyon, which is just twenty minutes away so it was a great location. Our grandchildren were allowed to use the pool and they took advantage of that several times. We were located close to a mall which gave us opportunity to stores and restaurants, we even got a discount at several of the restaurants […] if we showed our room key to the waiter. Our beds linen was changed every day and we always had clean towells. I used to love Sleep Inn's. But the franchise just has not put any money back into the facilities. Place is clean and has the amenities, but they are really starting be be like a Super 8.

I chose the Sleep Inn in Mesa because of it's proximity to family and the price. We did not spend any time in our room other than to sleep and to get ready in the morning. For the price this hotel is a great value. The beds were very comfortable, which was a nice surprise. We had nice internet service in the room. The hotel staff were all very nice, […] even the people who had to work on Christmas. It is in the process of a remodel and that's a good thing as it is an older hotel. We paid extra to bring our dog with us but, again it wasn't very much and well worth it to us. The breakfasts were typical(waffles, cold kids cereals, pastries) and we didn't eat anything other than oranges and apples there because of our picky tastes in food. But, the waffles smelled really good! The location is right next to the mall so, if you are into shopping you will be happy. The room was convenient and very quiet. Beds were comfortable. The room was a little small so very tight quarters. Only real complaints were they were redecorating the place and it was left looking very messy in the halls and they did not offer bottled water in the vending machines.

The hallways were under renovation, which is only a good thing for the future. The pool was under repair but okay by us because the weather was only in the 60's or 70's November 12th week. The morning breakfast was fine. Newspaper available. The room had a hairdryer, iron & board, micro, refridge etc. We were in town for a wedding and family visits […] so IT WORKED FOR US. The room was cleaned and well maintained. If I needed anything they were more than happy to help. The air conditioning was kind of tricky to keep a constant room temperature, but the a/c did work.
