      I enjoyed my stay very much, the only problem was that the hotel was advertised as having an English speaking staff, but quite often many of them did not have a great grasp of the language. Other than that, it was excellent

      We were so happy with this hotel, and were glad to call it "home" for 8 days. We were impressed with so many things: the friendliness of the staff, the amazing breakfast, the size, comfort, and cleanliness of the room, and the hotel's convenient location. This was such a great value for the price we got. There is a new MRT station for DongMen just down the street, and a little exploring helped us discover plenty of places to eat within walking distance. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to friends and family!

    Awesome location cant be beaten. All the public areas - lobby etc look very nice and the breakfast buffet is fantastic -best I have seen.     Cheers - With a spacious outdoor terrace, Cheers is a casual restaurant ideal for a simple, inexpensive lunch, or a place where guests can enjoy a light snack. Cheers is the perfect venue for a relaxed evening accompanied by quality drinks, a wide-ranging selection of food and contemporary tunes by live artists. Located on the lobby level.

    Lobby Lounge - Situated in the atrium lobby, the Lobby Lounge is the perfect setting for business or social gatherings with its sleek, modern design, yet cosy atmosphere. The freshest ingredients combine with meticulous preparation and presentation to make Pearl Liang a distinctive gourmet experience. Located on the 2nd floor. Reservation required.

    Ziga Zaga - As part of the hotel’s current renovation project, with immediate effect, Ziga Zaga will only cater for private functions.

    Irodori - Irodori reflects the genius of Japanese cuisine with an exquisite buffet replete with rare delicacies and a wide selection of sake. With the bustling and modern Japanese live kitchen setting, sushi, sashimi, and tempura favourites are just the beginning of a superb menu designed to tempt the adventurous. Located on the 3rd floor.

    Club Oasis is an indoor and outdoor facility providing spa services and wellness activities. The club is divided into different recreational areas and consists of a men's spa area, a women's spa area, two gymnasiums with the latest body-shaping equipment, an exercise studio, a landscaped swimming pool with a newly designed pool bar, a sauna, a steam room, and a beauty salon. This up-scale urban retreat covers more than 3,630 sq metres and was designed using a variety of natural materials and includes splendid artwork collections, creating an oasis of serenity, offering true relaxation and rejuvenation of the body, mind, and spirit.With the aim of providing a brand new accommodation experience to its guests with a contemporary twist, Grand Hyatt Taipei is undergoing an exiting renovation programme. Our guestroom renovation project will take place in two phases over the course of the next two years. The hotel will be divided into two wings with one wing under renovation and the other one fully operational. During this period, the hotel’s exterior, public areas and lobby will not be affected. All restaurants and function rooms will operate as normal.

    I go to Taiwan and Asia frequently, and had not stayed at the Grand Hyatt for some time. The staff is warm, friendly and attentive. They also acknowledged at check in, that the rooms will be refurbished, commencing in August 2012. Even so, it is a great place to stay.

    I first stay at the Hyatt Taipei in 1997. At that time I was very very impress by the size and class of this hotel. I went back with my wife and kid for a short stay (3 nights). We usually stay in Tango or similar boutique hotel in Taipei. Hyatt was a default choice, but we gave it a chance due to the location. The interesting thing is that this hotel […] seems frozen in time ! Rooms have not been renovated since.... 1997 ? It give a nostalgia feeling of being back to the future. Clearly not a lot of investment have been done on this hotel. Wonder how long it will last until Hyatt realized they went off of their standard. Having say that, Hyatt Taipei remain a very well located hotel and the level of service is impressive. Great staff all over, great breakfast, very nice spa, .... a place you can enjoy and relax.     The hotel was great, the breakfast included was awesome. A little pricey for the hotel but probably because I booked last minute and the dates were during a busy trade show. Hotel is close to 101. There is also a cool lounge located inside the hotel. Overall great service and good time!

    The Hyatt is one of the better hotels (if not the best) in Taipei for the business travelor. The gym is excellent being recently renovated with a weight room and a yoga/workout studio as well.     I had stayed at this hotel more than ten years ago, when I was in Taipei for business. It left a reasonable impression. Now, when I returned for 2010 New Year's Eve, the hotel has visibly aged and declined. It is clearly resting on its laurels. The location is still nice, close to Taipei 101. But everything else was below standard, certainly not […] what you'd expect with a GRAND Hyatt. 1) The hardware seems aged, looks so 90's; 2) The 5-star breakfast was disappointing, the bacons were all burned and the staff couldn't wait to start cleaning well ahead (30 minutes) of closing time; 3) No doorman probably due to rising labor cost!     Check your bill carefully as they had put charges which were not correct. Internet service is not the best... Drop outs with Wifi and only one decive can be used a time which makes it hard for a laptop + smart phone.

    今回大人２名、３歳児１名で宿泊しました。申し込む際は大人２名で申し込みました。部屋へ入るとエキストラベットがあり、タオルやスリッパなど大人３名分あったので、何かの間違いかな？と思ってました。しかし、しばらくすると清掃係の人が来て、子ども用のハブラシ、歯磨き粉、ボディーソープ、シャンプー、スリッパ、そしてぬいぐるみまで持ってきてくださいました。たくさんホテルに泊まってきましたが、このようなサービスをしていただいたのは初めてで驚きました。　ホテル自体は古い印象でした。　朝食は美味しかったです。

    朝食のビュフェは、品数が沢山あって迷うくらい最高！ 朝から熱々のワッフルにモーベンピックアイスクリームをのせて。 宿泊客はスパが利用できるので、部屋のお風呂に入らずに済んだ。 ただ、利用時間が夜１１時までなのが残念！夜市で遊んでいると....... 屋外のプールも空いていて良かった。

    2泊で3泊できるプランだったので、部屋は全く期待していませんでしたが、なんと25回のエグゼクティブフロアーの素晴らしい部屋でした。 広くてきれいな部屋、素晴らしい眺め、そして22階での特別豪華な朝食がついて、最終日には無料で時間延長もしていただけました。 ホテルのスタッフの対応も丁寧親切で、帰りのタクシーを空港までお願いしたら、航空会社によってどこに着けるかが違うので確認して運転手に伝えてくれるという丁寧さでした。 お安く泊まって、こんなにサービスをしていただいて本当に感謝しています。 ありがとうございました。
