NEVER EVER.... While they are putting all the lipstick renovations on the inside of their rooms... Doesn't change the fact... Building old. Sound in hallways travels, echo's terrible! Stayed 2 nights for family in local b hospital. First night really nice. Heard hallway echo, didn't really matter. Second night, birthday party! Complained till midnight, should of left because front desk would ask for them to quiet down, to no avail, should of called police did not. Talked to manager a couple weeks later. She has documented from front desk of noise, of help asking to quiet, should of offered refund or any token of points , something for starting through that nightmare.... SHE did NOT Warning, yes they give you a discounted rate regular $99.00 down to $67.00. Hospital rate. However 4 hours sleep, knew problem, verbal apology, SO POOR EMPLOYEES!!!

Room was nice but water was ether to hott or cold or changing. room was clean but older. The Afternoon shift Staff was far from nice lets say , the Lady that came on at 11 was great though. The pool was not as nice as I expected and the Hottub jets were weak. For the Money the Baymont is as nice and Cheaper.
"winter storm stay"

We live close by but with an incredible winter storm in progress we booked a room quickly - didn't want to miss a scheduled surgery the next day. The rooms were clean, staff accommodating and very pleasant. Apparently they are undergoing a renovation - with great staff and an update this is a great place to stay in Muskegon.

The carpet needed to be cleaned although they were renovating down our hall at that time. The breakfast food that they suppled was very good and diverse. The pool area was somewhat small but they had a large area inside for children. (our kids are grown and away from home). The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. With the exception of the carpet, I would stay there again.

This is the second time in a year that we stayed at this hotel for surgery at Mercy Hospital the next day. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful very helpful and willing to help in any way.

Accommodations were very nice. Breakfast was fine, but not up to the standards we have become accustomed to in other Comfort hotels. (cook didn't come in) Ice machine located near front lobby, but not any others in the back of the building where our room was located. I found the carpeting in the room to be in need of cleaning. Staff was very nice and helpful, especially on Christmas Day.
"Excellent Fitness Room"

I was pleasantly surprised at the spacious fitness room (former executive suite) outfitted with several types of functional fitness machines plus a large free weights area. The fitness room has an up-to-date, trendy feel to it. I was surprised at the large pool/game area in this hotel too, though I didn't take advantage of the pool this trip. The front receptionist was extra-helpful, and that left a lasting memory. One more perk to this hotel is the availability of good family restaurants like Applebees - just a short walk from the hotel.
Great room clean and comfy pool was clean as a pin breakfast was great and the staff was the best. We highly recommend and will stay again if you are in the area you can't go wrong we were in down visiting a friend in Hospice and they made us comfyThanks tommy

First, let me state that this hotel is still undergoing renovation (which the web site did not indicate at time of booking), but that does not specifically address my review items. We stayed in 2 rooms on 12/26, which we requested to be adjoining. Although hotel had minimal guests that evening, this request could not be fulfilled. Both rooms had an odd stench- one smelled like a locker room, the other an odd chemical smell, that had the room occupants throats scratchy and sore by the morning. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable- even for a "discount" hotel. The hotel advertised a complete breakfast bar that runs until 10am on weekends- when we went down at 9:30, there were only a few scraps of dried up instant scrambled eggs, 3 brown & serve sausage links, and a smattering of stale bread and bagels. The attendant indicated that nothing else was going to be prepared to get by until 10- what was out was it. Hardly a breakfast for a family of four. Finally- they have a nice indoor pool area, but it too needs attention. Many elecgtrical fixtures are broken or missing altogether, the pool lights turned off at 10:30, when the pool was open until 11pm- this is very dangerous with people (especially kids) swimming. All in all, for a similar nightly rate, you can get a much cleaner, more comfortable hotel, by staying at the Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, etc. I personally will not likely stay at this property again when in Muskegon.
