Great location but pool was small and not very clean. Rooms were not clean, general hotel was not clean. Staff was very kind and helpful.

While the location of the hotel was great being on the boardwalk and ocean front, the hotel definitely has some problems with service. There were six of us in an efficieny.When we arrived, the comforters on our beds were damp. We got flack from the maids about having to change them. We did not have enough towels. In an efficiency you expect dishes and utensils. There were 2 plates a few cups and a few pieces of silverware. Fortunately for us we had brought a lot of paper products. The remote control to the tv did not work. A different maid (who was very efficient) took care of that for us. On one of our days we never saw the maid until after 4:00 to get us new towels and take out the trash. There was a different maid each day. According to one of the maids, they have a hard time keeping help. The continental breakfast was adequate if you like cereal and muffins. The coffee was awful. For the price to stay at this hotel, I would definitely find a different hotel next year.

Hotel's location is excellent, close to center of the boardwalk. Hotel's parking is convenient. Rooms were clean and employees were very friendly. Nothing fancy, but a good value for the price. We would visit this hotel again.

I was not impressed with this hotel at all after reading the reviews that I used in deciding to stay at this hotel. It is not overly dirty, but certainly not what it should be. If you are looking to party for a weekend and don't care, go for it. If you are bringing your family, I wouldn't recommend it. The continental breakfast area is not suited in size by any means for such a tourist area. Not a great hotel at all.

We traveled to this hotel from NY and was treated like royalty by the when we arrived. Two rooms were booked right next door to eachother. This was particularly helpful since my mother is in a wheelchair and we were able to connect to eachother rooms alot. The balcony although not oceanfront, we could definately see the ocean from where we were. The maid was quick and efficient and was throughal. The only thing i may suggest is that they put an air freshener in the rooms because they were smoking rooms and they did have a very strong odor of cigerettes. The morning continental breakfast was great, complete with a waffle maker, lots of coffee, tea and hot chocolate, juices, bagels, muffins and danishes. There is also an amazing italian restaurant two doors down that had the best pizza we have EVER had! I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone i know who is traveling to OC. Oh yeah and I understand this particular Comfort Inn is privately owned which is why the rates are unbeatable by any other franchise.

Right on the boardwalk, off of 5th street, walking distance to everything. You can park your car in their parking lot and you dont have to worry about paying for parking, then its so close to everything you dont have to drive anywhere! Room was huge, ours had a microwave, fridge, and a stove (though we didnt use the stove), a pull out couch, and the bed was amazingly comfortable, had a balcony with two chairs and a table. We loved it, want to go back again!

I wasn't expecting a room that was in great shape from the start, so there was no dissappointment there. The silverware in the drawers were dirty, I wouldn't recommend using them. They didn't change the trash in the room from the previous stay or the last few stays. The housekeeping staff was not really all that friendly, but the way the rooms were kept I didn't think that they really cared if they were pleasant or not. So I would definitely recommend this room to a bunch of people who plan on drinking the whole time they are there. As far as families staying there, go someone else and spend an extra few dollars.

paid a cheap price - got a cheap hotel - Some things were okay, but when the toilet clogged, they handed me a plunger and sent me on my way. Dirty sheets and towels were left in the hall for an entire day. It was probably worth the little that I paid, but it was sad that just a little better customer service/management could have made it better without costing anyone anymore money.

Location is good for the price. Hotel is fairly well maintainied. Free parking is provided. It is located on the Boardwalk (South end) near the amusement park and other attractions. I have stayed here, this was my second visit.

Hotel was comfortable and all features that we used in working order. We did not use provided stove or dishes. Location was excellent, beachfront on boardwalk next to Kite Loft. Decor was clean, if a little sparse. Water pressure a little low during shower. Indoor pool was very helpful on rainy day with small children. Breakfast had no meat or yogurt, dairy was limited to barely functioning milk dispenser with no skim milk. Front desk crew attentive and responsive beyond expectations. Liked complementary newspaper. For the money, we felt this was a good value.

Rooms kinda worn, parking lot tiny (get there early for a spot), breakfast available but unhealthy - a kid's delight, front desk service quick & friendly, location on boardwalk terrific, you can hear through the walls (not good for light sleepers).

Hotel was fine. Hotel could use some sort of gym access either in hotel or guest passes to local gym. It needs more outlet for devices, i.e. laptop, dvd players, etc. Would like to see free internet access as well. Internet access cheap compared to price of room. Overall the stay was great, staff was friendly and all request met without issue or questioning. Second time staying there and I will go back soon and regularly. Thanks

I've been staying at the Comfort Inn Boardwalk every year for at least the past 15 years. While the staff (especially the maids) have always been gracious and accommodating, the property itself is lacking in charm. The front desk area is well kept but, comparing two guest rooms, the rooms themselves have fallen into disrepair: the dressers and nightstands are scratched and chipped; the wallpaper in the bathroom is dirty and peeling; the fiberglass bathtubs are quite stained with dirt; there is dirt in the corners on the floors; and the kitchenette sink areas are cracked. Thankfully, the linens are clean! They also do manage to keep the mildew odor that plagues beach properties out of the room. Here's to hoping for a small renovation of the rooms. With the location and great staff they have, this hotel could be a gem.

This hotel fell very short of reasonable expectations. At 2.30 am I called the front desk as the people in the adjoining room had the TV at full volume, shouting on the phone ( with foul language ) and were bouncing a basket ball against the wall. The desk did call the room but all that happened was the noise continued, and the cell phone user went outside on the common balcony,so now we had noise through the wall and through the window. At 6 am the following morning I went to the hotel desk and asked them to attend to the problem as I did not want to go through another night of this. The only solution they offered was to move me to a lower class room without a rate reduction. When I asked why they would not move the noise maker to another room I was basically told "take it or leave it", so we opted to leave. The room itself was not very clean, the sofa bed looked as though someone had dumped mud all over it What is particularly upsetting about this experience is that in the room there was a prominently displayed warning that there was an Ocean City ordinance against "unacceptable noise" from hotel guests and that noise makers would be evicted from the hotel. When I questioned as to why this was not being enforced in our case, I was greeted with just blank stares...so I suppose this is a hollow warning.

We enjoyed the Comfort Inn Boardwalk very much. This hotel is in very good condition, well kept overall. Very clean. The bed was so comfy. Plenty of soft pillows. The staff was polite. Location was excellent. Adequate parking. Overlooks the ocean, directly on the boardwalk. Very nice continental breakfast including a "self serve" waffle maker! My husband loved those waffles. Heated indoor pool! Best of all, the price was great!!! Will surely return.

It was a pleasure to stay here. We awoke every morning to the sound and smell of the ocean. It was right on the Boardwalk and afforded the opportunity to people watch too.

The room was very nice and comfortable. Even though we did not have a ocean view room, we still had a great view of the ocean from the balcony. The free breakfast was great! We enjoyed the indoor heated pool as the ocean water was extremely cold. The only downfall to the pool was there were never any towels. I would definately return and recommend to others.

For the price could not be beat. Right in the middle of the board walk so convient to either end. Staff outstanding,helpful and polite. I have paid a whole lot more more for a lot less.We Had an elderly person with us and the staff were wonderful with them. We locked ourselves out and the maid would not let us in but did get the front desk to assist us which made me feel safe knowing they won't be tricked into allowing a stranger in.

The location was good. The room was clean and nice sized. My only concern was the staff's ability to handle a real emergency. On the morning of our departure, the hotel had no electricity as a result of an accident nearby. Staff made little effort to help guests who were locked out of their rooms and those who had to carry their bags down several flights of steps. It was somewhat chaotic. Also, I was unable to get any kind of Credit card receipt. I asked that one be sent to me but I never received it. I'm not entirely sure that I would stay there again.

We love the improvements to the breakfast area. The rooms are a great size. We had a city view room but if you looked right off our balcony, you could see the ocean! The bathroom is a little small, but managable. Completely recommend to others!

Although the view of the room was not fantastic, (we booked a room with a city view) it was in pretty good condition. The staff were also polite and helpful. It really made our stay unforgettable. Will definitely go back to this hotel the next time we are in Ocean City.

The hotel was very nice overall and the breakfast buffet was very nice and readily available. The waffle maker was the best. The staff were very nice and helpful, the room was nice, but they need to purchasenew sofas... I would recommend it to anyone.

A comfortable efficiency with an indoor, heated pool in the same building! They have a Continental breakfast with waffle irons to make your own waffles. I'm a sucker for toys, so I even offered to make my husband's breakfast. The room was clean and comfortble.

This was an awesome hotel. I just loved the personal coffee maker in our room. It was also nice to go swimming in the indoor pool. Everything was very neat and tidy. I will definately return !!
