"Clean Room...but..."
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 26, 2009
we checked in fairly late and was greated with an obviously unhappy clerk who's attitude was exactly what we didnt need after driving 12 hours. Our room was clean and bed was very comfortable and the accessability to the parking lot was GREAT!! We had hoped to relax in the pool but it was closed, so that was disappointing. The facilities to eat were clean and comfortable although the croisants were obviously a few days old, the other breakfast foods seemed fine. All in all we would probably look at a different hotel next time we are in the area.

The fact that my room was located in the rear of the hotel at the end of the hall was a sour item to start. The customer service staff did'nt come across as very attentive towards the guests that I encountered. A random check of the houskeeping departments may improve their compliance, since I had to wait three hours to have my room cleaned after reporting it was missed initially.

Reviewed by RA of randolph on Sep 3, 2008
We loved this hotel. First and foremost it was absolutely clean. There was even a woman cleaning the little metals ridges on the floor in the elevator when we arrived. The bedding was pristine white and smelled fresh. The bathroom was immaculate. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming with the exception of the pool attendant who was not so friendly but I guess it is his job to make sure no one drowns and not to chat and be our friend. The pool is indoors but has a nice glass atrium around it so you do not feel like you are in a dungeon. The lobby is nice; you had little tables set up with your own television. Breakfast though was not that great and overpriced. Kids eat free and our bill was $15.00 for toast, yoghurt, a bagel and two beverages. This was a great hotel and we would stay there again. Check out the Olive Tree for dinner in Glen Burnie. My kids loved it so much we ate there twice.

I stayed here to go to Camden Yards for a game. It is a perfect location for anything in Baltimore or at BWI. For the stadiums, Camden or M & T Bank, its a straight shot in. Same goes for the inner harbor or other areas of Baltimore. After the game, even at night, because its by the airport, you have a Ruby Tuesday's or a Wendy's near by to get snacks late at night. They have a pool and only 3 floors. Plenty of parking. Would stay there again.

The Courtyard Marriott was located a short six miles from Camden Yards which was very convenient for us to get to and from the baseball game. Considering the price of the "downtown hotels" this was a very good choice for us. Although the hotel was under construction we did not here any noise and all the employees were very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We were happy with our stay. The employees were all nice. The hotel was doing some improvements on the lobby, so there was a small room where we had to go to check in/out. Also the shuttle to and from the airport was shared by 4 other hotels that Marriot owned, so that was a little annoying because it took more time to get back and forth. But would stay there again.

We went to Baltimore for one night, and shopped hotels for price. We arrived to find that the Lobby was being renovated. It didn't matter. The staff was very friendly and professional, met all our needs, and worked around the construction as if it was barely there. Our room was pleasant, clean, and roomy enough for our family. The hot breakfast could have been hotter, but I'll allow on that for the construction; they weren't in the normal dining room. I didn't come to Baltimore to hang in the room, but I must say it was pleasant when we did, and I'd stay here again.

I have friends who stay at this chain exclusively so I gave it a try, the beds were wonderful, topnotch linens, tons of good quality pillows on both beds, very clean, but the pool and spa were closed and I would not have stayed there as I do enjoy a swim after a long drive. Good quality plentiful coffee, some nice amenities.
