We visited Paris as a family and stayed here because of the high rating on hotels.com. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room by european standards. Also, it's pretty and clean and has sophisticated decor, not necessarily what you think of for a family, but they were happy to put a crib for our 18 mo old daughter in the room and didn't act […] as if she didn't belong there (which can't always be said for the rest of the city, where she and her stroller were not always warmly welcomed). We walked to Notre Dame and Place de a Bastille from here, and used the Metro for everything else; very convenient location. At night, we'd relax in the courtyard after dinner and could leave our room window open to listen for our daughter if she woke. I think this is a fantastic hotel and would definitely stay here again. Very welcoming. Staff very helpful and hotel and room very clean. Even though there were many restaurants within a short walking distance, the Marais District is a little further from main sights, so we did have to take the Metro a lot.

Last minute trip to Paris and I was there with 2 friends (in a triple) for one night. The room was clean, comfortable and had a kitchenette. I liked that we were out of the tourist zones but had immediate access to the metro. Will definitely come back to Les Jardins.

I was very happy with our accomodations. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and very comfortable. The only thing we could have used were some dishes for the kitchenette ( we had only 3 wine glasses). I would recommend the hotel to others.

The hotel is a charming collection of apartment buildings turned hotel. The service was mediocre, but I think that is the way it is all over Europe. The location is close to great shopping, restaurants, and the subway.

I have visited Paris many times in the past several years and, with the exception of a two-month stay in a rented apartment on the I’le St. Louis, this was easily the best accommodation I have had. Great location on a quiet street just a short two minute walk to the subway. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean relatively spacious room with all the amenities. Beautiful inner courtyard/garden that looks killer for the warmer months. Just a few blocks from terrific restaurants and shops.

We had stayed at this hotel twice before and had in the past found it to be excellent. This time we were given a room directly above the mechanical front door which rumbled loudly 24/7 and combined with the bar across the street made sleep nearly impossible. Charming place and much bigger than it looks. Rooms were small and the layout made moving around a little awkward. Very comfortable bed and linens. The only thing that kept it out of 5 stars was the lack of the little extra touches.

By far one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. I travel as frequent as 2 times and month for business. I booked an executive suite with 2 separate rooms and ended up with just one bed after they had me go into 4 rooms with the same entire layout. The hotel was not even considerate enough to take the luggage. My colleague and myself were hauling the […] bags from room to room. The managers answer was "sorry, I cannot give you what you booked and I cannot refund because this was an error and not intentional" Several hours later I simply checked into the Crown Plaza...if you can tolerate bread crumbs on the carpet and top half of the bed covered with a sheet and carrying your own bags from building to building with a cobblestone floor, then the best of luck staying at the hotel Read more

My family of four stayed here. We had the larger jr suite which consisted of a queen sized bed and a sofa with a trundle for the kids (this equaled 2 twins). We only stayed 2 nights but it was the perfect location. Very short walk to the metro and if you didn't want to pay for the buffet breakfast (it was a bit pricey) there is a restaurant at the corner […] and for dinner there is a great nearby pizza place. I would gladly stay here again. Best part was the receptionist giving my kids their own hotel business card to have in case they got lost. Read more

Pluses: better location than may first appear between republic and Bastille . Off main boul so quieter than some other options; clean, comfortable and well run; metro close and walking distance to many attractions Negatives: pretty courtyard you will see in pictures may be nice for a drink in the summer but is a source for much noise that affects the […] various buildings that make up the hotel. Courtyard is brick so every time wheeled luggage or carts are rolled through a great deal of noise is created at all hours. You do not want a ground floor room near the entrance to any building due to this noise. Hvac does not create enough white noise and single pane windows mean the is noisy compared to typical US hotel. Hotel is periodically disrupted by bus load of Singapore air crews coming and going. So hotel has some strong elements but is probably not for a light sleeper. Read more

The hotel is located in Marias section of Paris and there is a metro station within a short walking distance. The hotel staff is generally helpful and courteous. While we were staying at the hotel, the electricity grit was out and the hotel had to bring in a big backup generator. As a result, we did not have Internet access.

Overall, it was a decent stay. Very large room for my family to stay in... very nice courtyard and lobby. Decent location in a typical Paris neighborhood. We had a water leak on day 2 of the trip and the maintenance crew responded quickly and when it couldn't be fixed on the spot, the front desk staff moved us to another room and even helped us move […] our luggage. We tried to use room service once, but the kitchen had closed before dinner (it was Sunday) and they only offered sandwiches.... disappointing, but saved a ton by getting some pizza to go from across the street. This is a very modern feeling boutique hotel in a great Marais location. The staff was excellent and helpful, the rooms were large and the bed extremely comfortable. Bathroom was marble, clean and lovely. Two things to note: there is a bar directly across the street and one down the block that are very noisy and active at night. The hotel was good. It was very busy in the city that week, so a bit pricey. The staff were great (very attentive and helpful!), and the garden is really lovely. The location is good; close to metro stations, and not a far walk from the heart of Le Marais, but not in it per se. At the same time I didn't feel that I was inundated by other tourists which […] is something to be said being in Paris in July. The room was clean and comfortable (with the best pillows!). It was, however, on the small side but typical of Paris, and with no view being on the ground floor. It had a small kitchen which was useful for the fridge, but takes up a fair bit of room, particularly considering it has no cutlery and very limited plates (but we weren't planning on eating in the room). The bathroom is fine -- the only critique would be a not-very-functional hairdryer. The hotel provides free internet wi-fi at very limited speed, and faster connections for a fee. The free wi-fi was toooooo slow and I ended up using my data roaming service. However, all-in-all a good stay, and I would recommend it. Read more
