Hotel was in a good position , some of the staff were friendly . We checked in to our room to find that the sofa bed for our children was not made up and after a tiring day of sightseeing was not to happy . Upon ourselves making up the bed we found that it was broken and they wanted us to move rooms , as we were only there for 1 night we asked for a room for my partner and one of children to share as that meant we would have to re pack . After a lot of confusion this finally got sorted out . so if travelling with family make sure sofa bed is not broken also we understood that we had four beds . Apart from that paris was great .

We booked a junior suite mainly for the kitchette as we were traveling with our 10 month old. The room was small by 'suite' standards, but OK. The cot had to be placed by the door, which was next to the bathroom which was next to the kitchenette, so our little one was disturbed through the night. However we were all woken at 5.15am by the laundry being delivered and wheeled across the cobbled courtyard just below us and continued for the next hour. We were just not prepared to be woken at that hour for the rest of our stay. So my husband went to see the manager and told him about the noise and he showed us 2 other suites which were bigger and better than the junior. We chose the one in the main building to avoid which had a separate room for our baby. He also threw in free breakfasts (20 euro each!!) which alone was worth it. So our stay in the end was just fine, although you could still here other guests wheelie suitcases being dragged over the courtyard we put on the aircon unit which drowned out the noise very well. In summary, noise not a problem if you are up and out every morning, breakfasts expensive but well worth adding to your room charge, location fantastic for everything, staff very helpful and friendly. Avoid rooms at the far end of the hotel.

This hotel was on the EDGE of the marais, and not near any of the action. As a single woman traveling on her own, I felt uncomfortable walking to the hotel by myself at night. Wish I had stayed closer to all the action and shops (in the 3rd arrondisement). Also, the furniture placement inside the hotel was awkward, the style extremely plain, the bed was hard, and everything but the lobby and bar area was completely lacking and extremely OVERPRICED!! Friends stayed at a boutique hotel in the 3rd and paid about 70 Euro less for a much cooler hotel in a better location.

This is a nice hotel with very pleasant staff, the room was warm and comfy. Also the hotel is very near the Metro station. However, there are a few things that put me off going back. The hotel is centred around an outdoor courtyard which may be nice in the summer, but when cold or wet can be a long walk from reception; especially if, like me, you're staying in one of the rear buildings. I think charging for a wifi connection is just a rip-off (it didn't even work in my room anyway) in a 4 star hotel...come on guys! A further point, if we're paying 20 euros for breakfast, can't we get freshly squeezed orange juice, rather than horrible stuff out of a tin??

On-site resturant is decorated in ultra-modern motif: Yuk. Location: Although it is a short walk to Metro stop, you'll be doing a lot of station transfers to get anywhere.. The main drag closeby is loaded with motorcycle shops but NO banks nor patisories. Staff was better than average. DON'T bring a car!

The hotel experience was excellent. The staff very accommodating. The lobby decor very lovely. The room was a nice size and very clean. The location was perfect. Close to metro's and an amazing shopping area "the Marais." The only one slight drawback was the fact it could be a little noisey in the morning for those of us that like to sleep late. We would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it highly.

The hotel's reception and courtyard are quite pretty but the room itself was a little disappointing. Our room was right next to the lift/elevator and we could hear the noise of people coming and going, especially in the morning - don't expect a long lie-in! Apart from that, the room was quite comfortable and was more than adequate for a short stay in Paris. Really nice location, lots of little boutique shops in the local area and away from the tourist masses. Expect a three star hotel and you won't be disappointed.

It's hard to believe this is a 4 star hotel. The rooms are not very nice. There is no ventialtion in the bathroom, the curtains don't work and the A/C is a portable unit that you get to set up yourself. There is no dresser to store your clothes, and some rooms don't have a digitial safe. They charge a deposit of 75 Euro to get the key. Also, if you need to call out and use an automated phone service, you have a problem. When you push a buttin it switches you off your call. The cleaning service showed up some days and others they needed to be called. They offered shuttle service and when you needed it to the airport they could not provide the service. The hotel is very noisy. The buidlings surround the gardens and you can hear every little noise. They seem to have recptions in the garden every morning bright and early. Not good if you are on vacation.
