It was ok. Not the best hotel and definitely not the best customer service... Nothing was open the pool was closed, the restaurant was closed I never saw a gym that was mentioned in the description..

This place was very disappointing. The location was great, close to the beach. The hotel was hard to find because their is a small sign with the hotel on it. The parking is really small. It was ok. the only thing that was annoying was that the bathroom shower kept getting water every where b/c the curtain was like a piece of cotton, not plastic. OH and it was really humid in the halls. but it was very nice having parking that was free in the garage underneath.

The tv was not flat, it only had one working channel, it made loud noises like if it was going to break. Balcony glass was off the rail, refrigerator was loud. The hotel was abysmal but the staff was very accommodating. After suffering a broken bed, no hot water, icky carpets, missing DVD remotes they didn't give us rolling eyes and annoyed glances about transferring. I hope they update the hotel it'd be a serious gem bc we loved our rm's view.

You need a GPS in order to find the hotel because it has a miniscule white sign taped to a wall right when you have to turn into the parking lot. BEWARE it is a very low, and tight parking lot. Upon arrival they informed us that our party had to be separated because the hotel was going through some renovations, and they did not have enough room for […] all of us in ONE same hotel (we had paid for 4 rooms). They sent half of us to Casablanca, which was also being gutted out but at least it had a big clean pool and was ocean front. Over there they gave us a decent room that was clean and renovated. It was horrible experience. The pool was drained. It was being renovated and they had to move some of us to another hotel. For the most part, now Oct.2012 is not a pleasant place. After renovating, I am sure it will excell. Great location.

My room was beautiful, service was great. The balcony view is lovely. The pool is under renovation, that was disappointing. Advertising made it seem like it was very close to south beach, but it is only walking distance to MIAMI beach. South beach requires bus or car. Overall, great hotel.

NASTY from the the elevator with the buttons were not working and ceiling was leaking to the the room. The ceiling, vents and furniture had black mold. I had to change room three times (801, 802 and then to 1201 which was slightly better). The sheets where stained with you know what!!!!!!!!!! The coffee mugs had dirty in them. Do you maintain your hotel??????? […] There was garage in the kitchen in room 1201! The only good thing about your hotel was the view! I have stayed here before it was great, but now the new management that's running it is awful. They don't clean the bathrooms nor the room good also the lack of hospitality is horrible I waited the next day of my stay for towels. I would not recommend to stay here. Also they don't advertise that there pool is under going construction.

The hotel staff was very friendly and told us we could use the features of the sister hotel across the street, but when I want a gym or pool at the hotel I dont want a 5 minute walk to get there. The hotel is in renovation right now, so nothing to do except stay in the room. However I was given access to the pool and the beach of their sister hotel located right in front of the Sixty Sixty. The hotel is a bit old but comfortable enough for one who does not need or expect much.

It was nice to have a kitchenette for a week stay-fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and a pantry. The walk in closet was also an unexpected surprise. The location was nice as it was not as crowded as it is in south beach yet it's only a few miles away. For it being ' penthouse ' room, it was tiny, bay view, with balcony , kitchenette , queen bed and pull out couch bed... It was a tiny studio basically, kitchenette had no stove top, once you pull couch bed out you had 3ft of walking space, balcony sucked cause its not your personal balcony like all the other floors, it was a shared balcony for the […] three penthouse suites. Room service sucked and was so lazy, never remarried our beds , one night they woke us up, just asked for more towels , we put them on table , next day they go in while we not there, take them same towels I requested and Hung them in bathroom and never took trash, nor refilled toilet paper, and never made bed , just folded one blanket up. At first glance... the room was well kept and clean. Sofa was not well maintained... so my wife and I did not use it the entire weekend. The toilet could have use more water pressure. Staff was freindly, and explained all the negative issues with the hotel upon check-in. I.E. pool was unservicable, lounge area was non-operable, and there was no ice […] machine onsite. Surprising the room was very comfortable. Comparable to more expensive hotels in the Miami Beach area. The view was excellent at night. One negative: room service never exchanged the used bedding, but reused the exact sheets, spreads, and pillow casing my wife and I had used during our entire stay. It's not in perfect conditions but is well located, the staff is good. The hotel doesn't have a pool (it's in construction) and internet access in some rooms,we had to go to other hotel (that is really good!) for those services. The room is clean and it has a kitchenette where we could keep food in a fridge and heat it in the microwave.

Luckily we only stayed for 1 night and first time in Miami. I wasn't disappointed so much as for the distance of where it was located from South Beach's main strip but more due to the fact the Hotel was not what I anticipated from its "great" pictures. The hotel has a pool which is under construction and I wish I would have known that prior to booking […] online. There is no food located in the hotel but a pizza place called "moncheese" is delicious for a delivery option. The hotel had one front desk staff and he wasn't that friendly. This place is definitely not for children because your children would be bored since there is nothing to do in the hotel and not much nearby...luckily both my partner and I stayed one night and was out majority of the day. The plumbing needs construction and one of closets had a wierd smell. I really wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone just because its not what it appears to be from its online website.
