I stayed just one night. I didn't fully sample the breakfast because of an early morning bus out to the airport. Great location to be near the bus and train station or to just walk to other parts of Stockholm. They also seem to have access to a gym? The location right across the street from the main train station plus the rate were the deciding factors for me in selecting the Adlon hotel. And it did prove to be excellent for traveling from and back to the airport, both for the bus and the Arlanda Express train. I like to do a lot of walking to explore the places I visit, and here the hotel's location […] was very convenient indeed -- for the Old Town and many other interesting sites. Without exception, all staff were very polite, friendly and kind in answering many questions to help navigate the city. And I was very pleasantly surprised when offered a small breakfast on the day I was leaving for the airport very early in the morning -- well before the breakfast room opened. I was glad to accept. On weekdays, during working hours, windows were being replaced in some rooms, which understandably involved some noise and other construction commotion, but everyone was very apologetic and disruption truly was kept to a minimum. My room was very small - a single, just as requested, but it was very clean, warm (I stayed there in Janaury), and quite comfortable. I didn't spend much time in it anyway - just mornings and nights - so it was just perfect. A very nice touch was having the thermometer right outside the room window. There are quite a few other hotels in the immediate vicinity, and I don't know how the Adlon compares to them, but I am pleased with the choice I made. Read more

Very nice service at the desk, great location for proximity to transit lines, shopping, restaurants, etc. The outside area (just on the street in front) can seem a bit sketchy with the bus and train station across the street, but its really not that bad. The hotel has an excellent location close to the train station. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, helping us with local train tickets, restaurants, and other information. Our family had a 4 bed room which worked out quite well, and had adequate space. The breakfast selections were very good.

We used the family room and were able to put 4 of us in it with no problems. Easy to get to everything. We really enjoyed our stay. It was an unusually warm summer night and there was no air conditioning. There were also no blackout shades to block out the white nights, so if you have sleepers who need complete darkness bring a mask.

Location was fine, though the street where the hotel is located seems to be in transition (decline?). Several bars with patrons spilling out onto the sidewalk may make some people uncomfortable, but it was only an issue approaching from one side. The hotel is close to the train station, an easy walk, and close enough to walk to the main pedestrian streets […] and central downtown. Also could catch subway, bus, etc. if needed. I spent four nights in this hotel, and enjoyed my stay very much. I walked to it from the train station in five minutes, and many of Stockholm's top sights are also in walking distance: the Royal Palace, Gamla Stan, Stadhuset, Moderna Muset, etc. Since the hotel is located in a busy area of Stockholm that is like a much smaller Times Square, there's […] a bit of noise at night if your room is onthe street side, but this didn't bother me (and I'm fairly sensitive to noise). My only complaint is this: an hour before the noon checkout time, I returned to my room to collect my bag but discovered that my room key was no longer operational. This was annoying, and I took it up with the manager. I realize that it was most likely an electronic glitch, but it was nevertheless annoying to be locked out, and of course quite inconvenient. All the same, I'll stay there again and recommend the Adlon to others. Read more

I would describe the Adlon hotel as "perfectly adequate." Nothing too fancy, but comfortable (if small) rooms with a decent breakfast. The Hotel Adlon is located in central Stockholm, near the train station. The staff is pleasant and professional, the room was nicely arranged and clean. It's an older building but well-kept. Internet access works well. Downsides: the breakfast buffet was disappointing, and the bathrooms have only liquid soap and no shampoo/conditioner/lotions.

I stayed there for 3 nights due to business in the city. The location is great - 2 minutes walk from Arlanda express . The hotel is small but well maintained , comfy bed , free wireless. My room was in front of the main street but somehow I didn't hear any noise. Mostly recommended.
