Though a bit outside the city center, it's still pretty conveniently located, i.e. bus 208 from the airport stops down the block from the hotel, and the hotel provides a free shuttle bus/taxi to the city center. Three grown men lined up and watched us from inside the hotel door as we struggled with our suitcases outside the hotel. I assume they were hotel employees. We are senior citizens. Not one offered help to load our luggage on the cart. After we checked in, different employees were very helpful. It was 10:45 before we could get down to the restaurant […] and they closed at 11, but they were very willing to get us whatever we wanted to eat. We had them bring us dessert to our room so they could close up. I got sick that night and we spent another day there. The restaurant staff sent up cold cuts and bread to our room (which was not on their room service menu) but they were very accommodating for our lunch and dinner. Read more

Krakow is a world class city, that is for sure. However,. hotel accommodations vary. This hotel is one of a chain and some things can be expected with the class of the unit regardless of the number of "stars" given. This unit reminded us of a couple of older, remodeled Soviet era ones we stayed in years ago. While the bathroom was indeed very nice, […] the bed was not. Instead of a "king" bed, it was two double beds abutted together...and in the middle of the night, one of them came loose from the other one. It was a disaster...like trying to sleep in the "Grand Canyon." Fortunately, the room service maid knew what or how to fix it, so the next night was reasonable sleep. The overall condition is good and it is what you should expect for the money. The negatives are that it is noisy on the nearby street and the restaurant is EXPENSIVE for what it is...plus they serve a lot of tour/excursion groups there, so expect mass feeding frenzies from time to time. Other than those issues, the room was clean, nice satellite television with plenty of international stations (French, Italian, Russian, English, American) for everyone. Read more

The Novotel Bronowice was wonderful. The staff spoke very good English, and were just the friendliest people I think you could put on your staff. The ONLY downside to this hotel is it's location. Bronowice isn't exactly the best place if you want to be out exploring. Each day I needed to take the taxi to where I wanted to explore. For me this made it […] hard to motivate myself to get out and about knowing that I had a 10-15 minute taxi ride to where I wanted to go. There is a bus each morning that shows up to take you to the Sheraton to where all the tour buses meet and this bus ride is free. That really helped out in exploring Krakow. Taxi fare from here to the Square is only about 10USD, but unless you want to spend all day there without going back to the hotel, it adds up. My usual day was down in the morning, explore a bit, then back to the hotel for knap, then another taxi ride back down for an evening stroll. Read more

Spent a lot of time working and visiting the city center so did not see much around the hotel, but overall, a solid value for a modern hotel. Not the most convenient location, but great service and I'd probably stay again next time. Convenient shuttle to city center for dinner, sightseeing, etc...

Very difficult to find. Advertised as close to airport with a shuttle. Shuttle is to "Old Town" only. Lots of construction making travel difficult near hotel.Cab to airport close to $30 and 20 minutes away. No WiFi instructed to use a cable for internet connections. Older building. Smells old. Rooms clean and comfortable. The hotel is a couple of km out of the town centre, but transport was not problem. The rate was good and included an excellent breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Tours available each day.

Absolute bargain for the quality of the hotel. We knew it was out of the town when we booked it, but easily within walking distance, free shuttle service, or cheap taxis. They let us check in early, front desk were helpful with suggestions. Swimming pool is quiet.

A great stay, Very inexpensive to book and although outside of the main centre the hotel recognises this and has a free taxi / shuttle service into the centre at 9.30 2.30 and 6pm there is also the same available for a free return taxi. The location should not put you off booking.

We stayed in this hotel for a long weekend in Krakow and I can only recommend it. Altough the building is not young it is clean to the highest level as it is it`s surroundings. The hotel was ok.. we are Hilton (dare I use the H word) customers so it was different however we were open minded ... The room smelt of smoke upon arrival and we used heavy doses of hairspray in attempt to 'kill' the smell....lol The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and spoke english extremely well could not fault any of them. The breakfast was amazing! A great variety of hot and cold buffet, cereals, fruits, cheese, etc. The croissants really taste like real French croissant. The coffee was extremely good. The Air-Cons in the rooms dont seem to be functioning properly. We booked 2 rooms. Both were hot and humid. The last night we saw some Asian tourists complaining about […] the air-cons as well. The location is not very convenient for us a family with old people and small kid. The hotel shuttle only runs two times a day, at 10 am and at 5 pm, so we are bound by this restriction. The shuttle is only a small van so when there were too many guests, the hotel had to arrange for regular taxis and we had to wait and our family was separated in two different taxis -- which is not very convenient. Otherwise the public transportation (tram #4, 13 and 20) are located about 10-15 min walk from the hotel. The reception was helpful but unless you ask, they wont tell you anything. Simple things that you would normally assume being informed right when you first arrived, they wont tell you (like: confirmation that the rate includes bfast, where is the breakfast room, what time is the bfast, the swimming pool, what time it closes, the fact that they have a shuttle to the city center, the schedule of the shuttle, the fact that parking is not free, the parking fees, the internet connection, interesting places to go in the city, etc). The Hotel was very good, it had all the things we needed and more. The staff were helpful & any questions we needed answering they answered or found out for us. The room was lovely, very modern. Rummet var kanon, väldigt fint för de pengarna vi betalade. Ok frukost som vi betalade extra för men den åt vi bara sista dagen eftersom den var ganska dyr. Inte så bra information av receptionisten när vi kom dit, fick tyvärr fråga om det mesta och fick ingen vidare information om transport in till city eller vad som fanns på hotellet. Tror dock bara […] vi hade otur med receptionist för hörde en annan recpetionist välkomna en ny gäst med väldigt utförlig information. Z pobytu bylem zadowolony.Jest jeden mankament.Otóż na stronie internetowej jest adres ul.Armii Krajowej.Natomiast wjazd na parking hotelowy jest od innej ulicy ale takiej informacji nie ma tej stronie i dlatego najpierw kluczyłem samochodem między blokami.

Bra Hotell, litt i utkant av sentrum men det hadde hotellet løst veldig bra med faste "busstider" tur /retur gratis for gjestene. Ellers var det en billig tur med taxi. Rommene var rene og store og gode. Vi hadde et familierom med fire personer, fungerte utmerket. Frokosten var god, og barna spiste gratis med betalende voksen, pluss for det. Rien a dire sur la qualité, accueil, propreté etc ... Seulement nous avons payé le parking alors que nous n'avons pas garé de voiture au parking de l'hôtel ! Le centre ville est à 5 minutes environs en voiture, le personnel ont été chaleureux pour une fois en Pologne !
