Great budget hotel option
I stayed here for a nearby conference. My room was in Ariston Patio facing the courtyard, and it was quiet plus I had no problem leaving my window open at night. I can see where rooms facing the street would be an issue due to noise. The hotel's breakfast is wonderful. I'm rather amused at the reviews from people who complained that it was the same every day. Sure it is, but there is so much variety you can pick something different every day if you want. Realize that you do have to cross the street to the Ariston Hotel to get to it, if you're lodged in the Patio. The room was clean and well maintained, with a nicely equipped private bath - very much appreciated touch since such things are not common at this price point. I was concerned about security because the window and door front onto the outdoor walkway that doubles as a balcony. There is a minibar and fridge in the room, but it only cools contents to 60 degrees or so and is turned off during the day as the hotel maids remove the key card from the power control when they service the room. I'm not sure what typical summer weather is in Prague, but it was very hot for the entire week I was there, with highs approaching 100 degrees. The hotel's lack of air conditioning (not even ice!) was pretty unpleasant, but unfortunately that's just typical for Prague. Basically unless you're one of those people who enjoys extreme heat, don't travel here in the summer if you can avoid it.

Good for short stays
The rooms was clean, the hotel was a 2 min walk from the tranvia but we did not like the neighborhood. There was no a/c in the room, lucky the nights were not too hot, but we had to leave the windows open, breakfast was good. The bathroom had a very small shower and the room was dated, but for us this was no problem since we got back late at night and did not spend much time in the room.

Sketchy Area
The area is sort of concerning and known for ladies of t he night and brothels. The hotel is nice but Praha 3 is way out there. I left after a few hours since the area was very alarming.

Spotless hotel but too many other issues.
This hotel his very clean but location not brilliant.Twenty minute walk into town not bad going but up hill coming back .Jump on a tram for about 75pence best option if you don't like walking.Area a bit run down .Breakfast very basic and staff in breakfast room miserable as.A bit noisy at night trying to sleep even with double glazing.Got a good deal so can't really complain too much .Bed rooms spotless clean and nice bathroom.
