The staff from the front desk, to the restaurant staff, cleaning staff, to the guy cleaning the floors; everyone was friendly and helpful. Everything was great except that there's a spring on bathroom door--hinge is on the wrong side--so necessary to prop the door open with something heavy. Pros: The beds are very, very comfortable. It feels like they have a temperpedic topper on them. It is practically on Cal State Fullerton's campus, so if you have business there, it is the perfect place to stay. The rooms have been updated and are clean. Cons: the bathroom smelled […] like someone had smoked in it previously and upon entering the room initially it smelled like it was damp. It could have just been because it was raining that day however. Also, we asked the front desk if it was ok to bring in some outside food to eat at the bar in the lobby, they replied it was fine, however, the waitress in the bar informed us this was not ok. I feel like since the bar was located in the hotel, it was late and the bar was empty, the waitress should not have made a big deal about this (we were even buying drinks there).
