"Not a Pleasent Stay"
07/02/14 Dr Patricia D Sunnyvale, Texas
This Hotel was not clean. Dirty Bathroom, Tub, shower walls, Toilet and sink. Stinky Smell of old Ciggerettes, in non smoking room. Bugs in room and Not so pleasant Bed and pillows. This was a Very Awful stay. Only one of the two beds was clean, so we doubled up in a bed and I returned home with little bug bites on my legs. Not sure what was eating me, but clearly something eating me in that room. For such uncleanliness, the staff at the desk was kind, but the room was NOT Clean!
"Comfy and clean"

Driving in, the smooth parking lot (not broken asphalt like too many places), was a good sign. The front desk clerk being AT the front desk was, too. He turned out to be competent, helpful, friendly, and a good recommender of places to eat. The entire hotel is clean and looks new (although there was strong smell of stale tobacco near the elevator - odd for a "smoke-free" property). The room is spacious, though the desk chair tilts to the left. The coffee maker has both regular and decaf, there's a nice recliner in the corner, and a TV that works as it should. They have good wifi, and an outdoor pool.
"Good 2 night stay"

We stayed 2 nights while visiting our student granddaughter. It was very clean and nice. The beds were comfy and the shower was good. It was fine for what we needed. The staff was friendly. No issues. Our room was quite. Good I-20 location.

Recently has to make trip for funeral in Ruston, La. Arrived in Ruston earlier than expected and needed to change for the funeral. The staff allowed me to check in and go to my room before normal check in time. I was truly appreciative of their handling of my situation. I stayed in a single, non smoking king bed room. The room was clean and comfortable. The Continental breakfast included eggs, biscuits, sausage, waffles and most items you would find on better motel breakfast menus. I would recommend this motel to my friends and family.
"Noisy, noisy, noisy!!! Don't stay on the side next to Blue Bell!"
02/13/14 Dawgintupelo Tupelo, Mississippi
If you HAVE to stay here, do NOT get a room on the back side next to the Blue Bell Ice Cream company. Their trucks are 20 feel from your room window and they begin loading at 4:15 AM. Slamming doors, starting up their trucks and letting them sit while they load. One guy was knocking ice off the back step of his truck with a sledge hammer at 5:25 AM. Rooms are very nice and staff is great but don't expect to sleep past 4:30 AM if you have a room on the back near Blue Bell.
"Great place to sleep!"

En route home from Atlanta to Texas, we spent the night in Ruston, LA. at the Comfort Inn. The location is easy access to interstate 20 and surrounded by restaurants and a mall for shoppers! The staff is very helpful and nice. Will stay there, again!
"Nice and quiet"

Nice hotel, good breakfast. We were a little worried when we found out the hotel was host to a large number of college students there for a baseball camp. But, I didn't hear a thing all night - they were very quiet and well behaved! The bed was a little soft for my taste, but that's just me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A good place to stay! Oh - and while it is off of the frontage road, and you have to go a round-about way to get to it, the hotel has placed great signs to lead you around the back way with no problem.
"Good stay with great staff. What more could you want."

The booking agency made a mistake with the reservations. It wasn't the hotels fault, but they did all they could to fix the problem, and wound up getting it resolved. They went above and beyond to make sure the stay was good, which is more than what you would expect with most hotels and staff these days. The rooms are spacous, with enough room for us to set up a mobile crib and still have ample room to walk around. The continental breakfast is good, and the self made waffles are really good. The location is only one exit from Louisiana Tech, and very close to a lot of restaurants. Overall a good stay, and you can't expect anymore.
"A great place to stay in Ruston"

Very clean hotel and friendly, competent staff; I was really pleased with it. As a bonus, the evening desk clerk recommended at my request a place where I could walk and stretch out after 9 hours in the car that day -- a park nearby with a lake. Quiet, lovely park with some RV campers, lots of ducks, a few joggers. I took the mile+ paved walk around the lake in the late afternoon and it was such a treat. Also at my request, I was given a room at the other end of the hotel from the volleyball team staying overnight -- they weren't actually noisy at all but just in case :)

The hotel room was nice. Compared to the winter time, though, the price was a bit high. I'm not sure why it's so high in the summertime. There are lots of choices for breakfast, such as eggs, muffins, waffles, cereal, etc. They have a Coke machine, with 20 oz. bottles reasonably priced. The beds/bedding were fine. Its location can be a little bit of a pain, when you come back out to Farmerville Rd. You have to contend with a bit of traffic going both ways all the time. If you turn right, you're okay. If you turn left, trying to get back to 20, it can be a little annoying to wait a bit (3-4 minutes, typically).
