"Great location; disappointing service"
We stayed at the Airport Marriott to catch an early morning flight. The location is superb. Unfortunately the service was surprisingly bad. We requested a taxi into town from the front desk with 30 minutes of lead time. When we went downstairs for our dinner reservation in Center City, no taxi was waiting, nor was there one that the hotel could call […] on short notice. Worse, our requested early-morning wakeup call never came, which would be fatal for an early-morning flight. Recommendations: (1) Consider other hotels nearby with shuttle service. (2) Consider the inexpensive SEPTA trains which run every 30 minutes to Center City (30th St station) rather than a taxi ($28.50 each way plus tip). (3) Set your own alarm and/or use the clock in the room rather than trusting the hotel staff to get you to the plane on time. (We did, as I have been burned by this before.) "Overpriced and disappointed"
It was the total convenience, right at the airport and I happened to be able to book it on a good deal through Expedia. But, the laundry facility was not open due to some construction. After a week of road trip and having already returned a rental car, that was a shock. Also the business center wasn't open when I wanted to print some docs. The room […] was nice, but there were some stains on the desk chair and window treatment (drapery). I had to scrub some yucky food stain out of the chair to sit on. They charge you for internet, both wired and wireless. The hallway smelled bad because room service food tray from another room was left on the floor all afternoon through the night. There was another dirty food tray left at the ice machine/vending machine area. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, though. Overall, I'm sorry to say our experience didn't go well with the big name image of Marriott. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Comfy and clean"
Only spent a very short overnight there, but my room was clean and comfy. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Only small issue was finding the entrance to register. They are doing some construction right now and entrance looked closed off. A very nice security woman directed me back to the right door. But that issue is only temporary.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nothing Special Other Than Airport Location"
Wouldn't have stayed here except I had a 6am flight. Connected to the airport, but facilities were 15-20 years dated.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convience with Comfort"
Great stay at the hotel. It was incredibly convenient because of its close proximity to the airport. I had a meeting at the hotel and was in the security line 7 minutes after my meeting ended. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.Genuine Expedia guest review
i recently stayed at the kimpton hotel Monaco in Old Town, Phila. then had to spend one night at the PHL airport Marriott and the experience was like day and night. for the same nightly rate, the Kimpton Monaco provided superior accommodations and superior customer service, while the Marriott was just Ok for accommodations and poor on customer service. "Great hotel for everyone"
I would say that my stay there was superb the only thing I didnt like was the vending machines were 2.00 dollars now to me that is high people dont really want to pay that much for vending if they pay all that money just to stay at the hotel they are not going to want to pay high prices at a vending machine just for a drink but other then that the stay […] was really great Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"A decent place to stay"
I booked this location because none in the city center had any vacancies. We came from north route 95 but did not know there was no exit 10 on the south bond. Upon checking in, the staff member did not mention about our pre-paid breakfast until I asked. He initially said we don't have it until I showed him my printout from Expedia, he then acknowledged […] what we paid did include the breakfast. So, where went wrong? Room was smaller than what we saw but clean. The towels were old but clean. Dinner was expensive, $94 for two, and we had a loud next door neighbor. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Location is nice, but there may be better options"
I was glad to have it attached to the airport for our 2 AM arrival, but we still had to carry all our luggage a 10 minute walk to get to the hotel entrance, which wasn't as clear as they said it would be. Then for the return flight, we still had to use a shuttle to get to our gate. If you have to use a shuttle anyway, there may be better options with […] more value. "really nice experience."
Stayed over so we could go to a concert in Camden. Easy to take the train into the city... It was late.but that was SEPTA'S fault... Not the hotel... Pool looked nice, as did the fitness center, but we didn't have tome to use them... Staff was terrific. Super easy to get to the B /C terminals...Genuine Expedia guest review
"Almost like they were Friends and Family"
My best friend and I stayed at Marriott Airport Philadelphia to see him off to Europe. When his passport was lost, the staff went out of their way to assist us in finding it. I'd like to give special thanks and kudos to a young concierge named, Keri, from Jamaica, who was not only helpful but a friend during our stay. "Time to relax"
I was in town for a quick 3 day weekend to visit my family. It was a great comfort to know at the end of my trip I could have a little "me" time before returning home. The Marriott was a great place to relax at the end of a wonderful but hectic trip!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great for an early morning flight"
The Marriot is conveniently located for travelers who wish to catch an early flight, which is why I stayed there. There isn't much else that would entice me to saty there again. The room had a distinctive odor which I guess simply reflects the age of the room and it's furniture. I would not stay there for more than the necessary night and I'm sure Philadelphia […] has more to offer than this. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The bathroom shower was dirty/discolored and there was a general "film" over the entire bathroom. The friendliness and courtesy of the staff was great, though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient is hotel - but bed linen was not clean"
Usually the bedsheets and bedspread are clean and feel clean - This time, my bed sheets did not look clean - both sheets and the bedspread looked like they had not been washed for a while. They did not feel fresh. . I was disappointed this time. White Bedspread had a stain on it - not very appealing.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Close to the airport but noisy"
What you pay for at this hotel is extreme convenience in checking in for your flight. It's a two minute walk to the closest security line. However, the building's age shows in how noisy it is. We heard everyone who walked up the hall and conversations in the hall. I always carry earplugs when travelling, so not the biggest of problems. But at this price […] I expected better. "Much better than expected stay"
It was first time we stayed at the Marriott at the Phila Airport. We were apprehensive, but when we found the ease to get to the hotel off of l 95, the attentiveness of the staff, the cleanliness and decor of the lobby, the cleanliness and comfort of the room, we were sold on staying at this Marriott whenever we travel to Philadelphia. Only negative […] would be the high price for a simple breakfest of coffee and a bagel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We love this hotel and enjoy staying there. Only one criticism---the restaurant is very slow and the selections too few. But for two weary travelers, this hotel at the airport is always an oasis in the desert.Genuine Expedia guest review
Room was very clean and comfortable. Had a fire alarm go off while there and the staff reacted quickly and let us know what was happening as soon as they knew.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not the greatest"
Wouldn't stay there again, staff was not polite at all, would not allow early check-in and made me wait for an hour at checkout, I finally just left. That said you cannot beat the location if you are leaving early in the morning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not handicap friendly"
The handicap room on the 5th floor (didn't check out any other floors) was the furthest room from the elevator, requiring my husband who uses forearm crutches to walk a long distance to and from the elevator. It would also be further to the stairs in an emergency. Most hotels have the handicap room nearest to the elevator. The bathroom was also difficult […] with a towel rack that extended out from the wall in front of the toilet. The seat in the shower was opposite the shower wand and too far to be able to sit and use the wand easily. I requested a wheelchair for an early morning flight and was told by the person at the desk that they did not do that; I would have to call the airline. Other airport hotels have offered to do this. However, she did find the phone number to call and then asked if I wanted her to call. I had her call, and the next morning when it wasn't at the desk the woman at the desk picked up the phone, called, and found out there was no request. We were able to take the hotel shuttle 10 min. later. No free WI-FI. I don't understand why less expensive hotels provide free WI-FI and the more expensive ask you to pay. The location of the hotel is excellent: one can easily get from/to the airport via terminal B and the terminal B train station from the second floor. May try to arrange our flights so we don't get in as late and leave as early, that way the location would not be so important. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel looks very dated. The room was OK but just OK! The bathroom toilet had a yellow ring around it and dead bugs in the overhead light. The towels where not very good. Thin and seemed old. I think I'll find another place to stay when visiting.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Far from city center"
I called and asked for help finding a hotel for my stay during the Broad Street Run weekend. I said I needed a hotel close to the city, since I was coming from NYC, with no car, and was going to be relying on public transportation. Unfortunately, this hotel was not convenient for us. Being attached to the airport meant it did have a train to take you […] in to the city, but they ran every 30 minutes, a "make or break" kind of travel situation for us. If you miss the train, you wait 30 min for the next. I was nervous about being so close to the airport, about having issues with noise, but you can't hear the planes. When we got there, our reservation had a mistake, and couldn't be found, but it was cleared up and taken care of with no problem. The room was clean, and well stocked. The hotel itself was great, just too far from where we wanted to be. Took about 45 min and two train transfers to get to the city center. If you have a car, obviously its easier to get in to town, but if you're relying on public transit, its not convenient. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
