Wouldn't stay there again, staff was not polite at all, would not allow early check-in and made me wait for an hour at checkout, I finally just left. That said you cannot beat the location if you are leaving early in the morning.

The handicap room on the 5th floor (didn't check out any other floors) was the furthest room from the elevator, requiring my husband who uses forearm crutches to walk a long distance to and from the elevator. It would also be further to the stairs in an emergency. Most hotels have the handicap room nearest to the elevator. The bathroom was also difficult […] with a towel rack that extended out from the wall in front of the toilet. The seat in the shower was opposite the shower wand and too far to be able to sit and use the wand easily. I requested a wheelchair for an early morning flight and was told by the person at the desk that they did not do that; I would have to call the airline. Other airport hotels have offered to do this. However, she did find the phone number to call and then asked if I wanted her to call. I had her call, and the next morning when it wasn't at the desk the woman at the desk picked up the phone, called, and found out there was no request. We were able to take the hotel shuttle 10 min. later. No free WI-FI. I don't understand why less expensive hotels provide free WI-FI and the more expensive ask you to pay. The location of the hotel is excellent: one can easily get from/to the airport via terminal B and the terminal B train station from the second floor. May try to arrange our flights so we don't get in as late and leave as early, that way the location would not be so important. Read more

The hotel looks very dated. The room was OK but just OK! The bathroom toilet had a yellow ring around it and dead bugs in the overhead light. The towels where not very good. Thin and seemed old. I think I'll find another place to stay when visiting.

I called and asked for help finding a hotel for my stay during the Broad Street Run weekend. I said I needed a hotel close to the city, since I was coming from NYC, with no car, and was going to be relying on public transportation. Unfortunately, this hotel was not convenient for us. Being attached to the airport meant it did have a train to take you […] in to the city, but they ran every 30 minutes, a "make or break" kind of travel situation for us. If you miss the train, you wait 30 min for the next. I was nervous about being so close to the airport, about having issues with noise, but you can't hear the planes. When we got there, our reservation had a mistake, and couldn't be found, but it was cleared up and taken care of with no problem. The room was clean, and well stocked. The hotel itself was great, just too far from where we wanted to be. Took about 45 min and two train transfers to get to the city center. If you have a car, obviously its easier to get in to town, but if you're relying on public transit, its not convenient. Read more

Very disappointed that Marriott STILL doesn't provide free wi-fi. It seems crazy that their far less expensive competitors offer it and properties like this that charge an arm and a leg because of their location don't. Most have it at least in their lobbies. This hotel didn't even have that. My staff won't be staying here again.

The best thing that can be said about this hotel is that you don't have to leave the terminal to get there. We chose to stay here due to a flight that arrived at 1:30 am, and we didn't want to drive or wait for a shuttle. Our room was very dated, especially the bathroom, and the bed was very uncomfortable. All was quite comfortable. My only problem was with the taxi service I requested, two hours before my event. The one the hotel summoned for me had no idea where I was going, in the suburbs, and a limo car had to be brought over at the last minute and at a much higher price.

The front desk staff was very friendly upon arrival and providing recommendations. The only thing is that some of the pre-printed directions for attractions to the Philadelphia historical district were outdated; the exits given in the directions did not match those on the highway since the exists have been renimbered.

This hotel even had a good choice of food in the restaurant but be aware that if you do not have your boarding pass in hand and your airline is going out of a D gate, you will have a major trek to get to the ticketing counters for terminal D.
