We were taking a one night getaway. Good location for our trip. Checking in was quick and easy. Appreciated the offer of cold water when checking in and when leaving. Breakfast was okay. Not the best free breakfast, but not the worst. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.

We were there for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The pool was great & the staff were very nice and helpful....menus of restaurants, suggestions of where to eat, etc. We were close to many things we wanted to do and see so this was somewhere we will stay again!

Despite some of the other reviews my stay was better than I had expected. The staff was great--friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and there was a wonderful choice of food for breakfast. They even had snacks for the afternoon.

Excellent, clean, close to the highway. Breakfast the next morning was only so-so and the noise from the highway was a bit much on that side of the hotel. Service was excellent though. My wife left her pajamas behind and we were able to call and pick them up two weeks later.... great buy for the money.

Stayed here on a weekend trip to Corning. Was very happy with the hotel , very clean and the staff was wonderful. Had everything we were looking for in a hotel , indoor pool , fitness room and a great breakfast buffet. The staff made you feel like you were their special guest. The hotel was clean. The pool was open long hours which was great for the four children we had with our group. The hotel was conveniently located (short drive) to the Corning Glass Museum and great places to eat. There was a good variety of food items for the morning's self-serve breakfast.

The hotel is hidden from the street and needs a better sign. We were visiting the Corning Glass Museum and this hotel is just about a 5 minute drive from it. Nice free breakfast and lovely snacks at night.

Have stayed at this Hampton Inn several times. The quality of service and cleanliness is consistant and superior. The continental breakfast gets better and better the peace of mind and comfort makes every trip worthwhile.

The hotel was clean and welcoming -- upon checking in, we even received welcome bags with bottled water and a nice snack. There were local newspapers as well as USA Today for guests. The breakfast was great -- all the usual suspects (bagels, English muffins, toast, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, tea, coffee, milk, juice), plus two waffle makers, and hot […] eggs and sausage. The room was reasonably priced, the building was easily accessible from the highway, and there was plenty of parking in a well-lit lot. We would definitely stay again. The only drawback was that the printer attached to the free computer in the lobby wasn't working properly. That's minor, but it's also why I gave four stars to two areas. Read more

When I first checked into the hotel I was given a noisy room on the highway, the comforter on the bed was extremely lumpy, and the recliner in the corner was soiled and very worn--I wouldn't have sat in it. I was immediately moved to a room on the other side of the building where the recliner was clean and the comforter, although lumpy, was reasonable. […] The comforter was a nice idea, but the quality poor, and the lumps were horrible looking, not to mention cold, and in December not a welcome sight. The staff were unbelieveably helpful, there were snacks each night in addition to a full breakfast, the cleaning staff friendly, and all in all the service excellent. it was not far from walkins glen and hammanport wineries~it was in a good location between the two of them~we enjoyed the warm in door pool only complaint would be there is no whirlpool~but otherwise the indoor pool was very warm and you could walk right into it~

My family and I enjoyed our stay a the Hampton Inn. The location was convenient to major highways. The hotel staff was friendly. The hotel lobby had an amazing free breakfast and free snacks were provided all day long. The kids had a blast in the indoor pool. No complaints here. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel met all our expectations except for the fact that our room had a jacuzzi tub. Having bad knees I had some trouble accessing it, but I was able to manage. Did not inquire to see if there were rooms with a regular tub.

Very friendly staff. Bathrooms were disgusting. Door would not shut. Tub was totally cracked and discolored. Exterior door would not shut without using key card to hold lock open. Beds were good.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. For the pros: Location is fine and the staff were friendly. The breakfast (make your own waffles, fresh fruit etc.) and the snacks available through-out the day were definitely a better than the usual. However, for the cons, the room was odd. Our bed was okay comfort-wise but had the lumpiest comforter I have […] ever seen. The lumps did not effect our comfort, but it sure looked peculiar. The bathroom was also strange with a shower head over a jacuzzi that was all scratched up (not at all appealing). We really didn't care about the jacuzzi, but becasue the jacuzzi was deep (about 3 feet), we had to step up and over that deep edge to get into the jacuzzi in order to take a shower (luckily we are pretty limber LOL!) So, the hotel has some good points, but for the price, I could not recommend it. Read more
