This hotel has a very convenient location right off the highway and can be used as a starting off point for any of the area attractions. The pool was nice. The hotel itself needs some updating. The staff was very friendly. Our room did smell of smoke (ask for non-smoking room), but we brought an air cleaner with us so there wasn't a problem. In general, it wasn't bad for the money.

Some reviews of this hotel were pretty negative, but for the price, I thought it was just fine... The room was OK, the fridge in it was a bonus, and the breakfast wasn't too bad either! I certainly didn't leave hungry, and it was perfect to feed the kiddos... Overall, it was a good location, easy to find, with plenty of amenities around it, and the price was right. Especially if you just need a place to sleep and a quick breakfast before hitting the road...

This hotel is right off I-25, but noise from the traffic is not an issue. The indoor pool is very nice and very large along with an indoor hot tub. The small breakfast available is is nice too. Only downside is that there is no elevator to get to the 2nd floor and so it's a bit of a challenge to get your luggage up to your room via the stairs? In fact, not even the hallways smelled like smoke which is pretty common in the cheaper hotels. The location is convenient being just off the highway and there are plenty of places to eat within a short drive of the hotel. 7/09 While the hotel doesn't advocate leaving possessions in your car during your stay, that's exactly what I had to do while I was apartment shopping in Albuquerque. The hotel itself is located on the edge of the city, and getting back on the highway was a breaze in the morning. The staff were also very friendly. When I left to move into my new apartment, they not only let me keep my more heat sensitive possessions behind the desk for the day, but one of the desk clerks helped me move my massively heavy box of LPs into my trunk...despite my objections. The breakfast area could use a few more chairs in the morning, but it wasn't enough to alter my opinion.
