It was our 2nd stay the night before our cruise that was leaving out of Galveston. We love Homewood Suites. A little dissapointed because there was no warm cookies this time. Fast service. Overall, the hotel provides good value at an affordable price. The rooms are clean , spacious, comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The hotel's added luxuries and amenities provided the LAGNIAPPE which made my stay that much more reposeful.

The room 146 which we stayed at is very large and clean. However, the water in the bathtub looked like yellow. So we can take a shower, but was not able to soak in the bathtub.

Homewood Suites in ClearLake is a very suitable hotel for business stays. I had a meeting downtown and it only took 40 minutes to get there during rush hour. There was even a wreck. Not bad

We love staying at Homewood Suites, but this one didn't measure up. We stayed in room 315...the smell of mildewed carpet in our room was horrible. There was a left-over hair from a previous traveler on the side of the shower. Never a good thing for the wife to find. I guess it was a blessing we got into our room at 11pm and left when we woke up the […] next morning. The breakfast was being put up at 9:45am when we went down to the lobby to eat. The 3 kids were not happy to find remnants of what should the morning breakfast. Our family will not be staying here again and I would not recommend it to other families. Great place to stay. Very clean, updated, lots of space, wonderful staff, best free breakfast we've had in years. The only low rating I gave was due to the difficulty finding the place. Between Mapquest and their own map, we spent way too much time trying to locate them.

We did not expect to stay in a hotel so luxurious for such a low price. I can honestly say we were very satisfied with the room. The breakfast was not so great but i do recommend the stay at the hotel. The rooms are very big with their own kitchen/ living room, bathroom, and the bedroom with its own door!

I wish we could have stayed longer! I selected a suite large enough for 4 adults and 3 kids and it was a perfect size, plenty of room, very comfortable, clean, and if it hadn't of been raining we would have taken advantage of the nice pool and basketball court and maybe even the BbQ area! The hotel was top notch! My only complaint is that they were completely unprepared for breakfast. If they are at 80% capacity, they should have expected a BIG breakfast crowd. They werent. But didnt subtract too much from the overall experience. I still give it 5 stars! Highly recommended.

The hotel was clean and beautiful! The staff were super nice! The kids enjoyed the beautiful pool and the grownups enjoyed the size of the suite. The continental breakfast was great and had a large variety to suit everyone in our group! I would definitely stay there again!

there was a very rowdy and loud teenage boy baseball team staying there for the first 2 days of my stay. they were very disruptive , running and yelling up and down the hallways. mangers did laundry until 3am or so. feel sorry for the 1st floor guests. ONE NIGHTTIME CLERK WAS NOT ENOUGH TO CONTROL THEM, despite his repeated pleas to keep the noise down. […] There should be a backup method to call in security guards. During my stay, the elevator was out for 1 day, up to my 3rd floor room. The room the bedroom is in a bad location, when open obstructs the use of the bathroom vanity. great! the staff was friendly and helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. we loved that there was a separate bedroom (with a door) -- kids went to bed, and hubby and i could stay up and watch tv without disturbing them. yummy breakfast, too (but would sometimes take a while for serving dishes to be refilled).

Booked 2 double beds thru Expedia for 1 night. Checked in and hotel said they have rooms with only 1 king and sleeper sofa. front desk clerk was less than helpful because we booked thru a 3rd party. breakfast buffet would be rated a 1 out of 5.

We really enjoyed the stay at the hotel! We primarily wanted to visit Galveston beach and then later on go to restaurants and other places in Houston. This place's location was perfect! Even more so, if you want to visit the Space Center also.

My husband and I were traveling with our combined family of five children we used several towels (of corse) and they allowed us to use extra blankets with no questions asked. When my son accidentally broke his toe during our 3 night stay while horseplaying, the staff provided what I needed to tend to him and even called us to just check on him.
