Overall stay was acceptable. The only thing that was disappointing was the continential breakfast. When I book a hotel I look specifically for some kind of breakfast offered, specifically due to the fact I travel with teens. Usually they will eat anything, but my son was disgusted by just the look of the food. Everything went well at this establishment except for the TV & noise in the hallway. The door allowed every word spoken and door opening and closing to transmit directly into the room. I put a towel across the gap at the bottom of the door, it had zero effect on noise. Must be the construction of the doors. Actually a pretty nice quiet hotel. Only complaints I had were the non-smoking room had an obvious smell of cigarette smoke and the pool had so much chlorine you could smell it out into the parking lot. The location of this hotel I understand is really the only variable that's out of the owners control and this was where the disappointment started. Allowing for that, there was very little else that was good about our stay here. The service was so-so. The chlorine levels in the pool were so hi it made my eyes burn. I overheard one guy complaining to […] the front desk they turned his swim trunks a different color! The lights in the rooms reminded me of a operating room the fridge made a terrible clunking sound just regularly enough that I decided not to bother complaining about it. The ice machine ( the ONE AND ONLY ICE MACHINE) was empty and when I asked was told "sorry it's been a busy weekend, it gets taxed during busy weekends" Oh and the television sets are the 4:3 ratio (old style) 19" P.O.S. with like 10 channels...I realize you don't go on vacation for the tv, but it just adds to the disappointment! We truly enjoyed our stay at the Sleep Inn in Post Falls, ID. Clean, friendly, quiet. Easy freeway access about 10 mi from Coeur d'Alene. The continental breakfast was very good: hard boiled eggs, hot and cold cereal, fruit, waffles, juice, donuts, yoghurt, etc. Couldn't make long distance calls on the room phone (unfortunately our cell phones were […] out of service area), but a sweetheart at the desk offered hers. Front office personal was a joke, especially Michael. Very, very disappointed. There were a few of us waiting to check in, we sat in the waiting room for 2 hours waiting and when we asked about our room Michael was quick to give us attitude, huff and puff and tell us no before storming off into a office behind the desk. Hot tub jets didn't work. The key card entrance to pool and side entrance to the inn were broke which made for poor security. The bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast was great. I would stay there again but hope they would fix the maintenance issues.

The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast was very basic - no hot dishes. I didn't pay attention when booking the room that it was a 2-star hotel therefore no fridge or the microwave in the room - the only inconvenience, otherwise a very nice place to stay for the night.

This is a basic hotel, with nothing fancy (no microwave or refrigerator in room, no reading lights by the beds, just a shower with no tub, limited variety breakfast), but it was clean and the staff was friendly. We did not use the pool but it looked clean, although small.
