The hotel is on the feeder road which is very easy to get to. Only problem is that there is construction going on. The water ice machine needed some cleaning as well as the pool. You couldnt evene see the bottom of the pool and you could smell the chlorine. Restrooms were clean as was the rest of the room. No thrills but that was expected classic room to sleep in when on a budget.

They forgot to change the towels The housekeeping is horrible. Forgot to empty the trash. I'm not that happy and they don't understand somebodies situation ie military personnel espcially when I booked with hotels.com they dont communicate much.

Was put in a one room with terrible air conditioning, complained about it and manager put us in another with a brand new air conditioner. Was perfect then! Surrounding neighborhood was a little suspicious looking but we never felt scared. Pool was clean and cool. We have a 3 year old and an 8 year old...They had a great time. Stayed 2 nights, 3 days.

Hotel and service were good for the price. I would stay in it again.

Our room is nice and clean. The bed is comfortable with nice clean sheets. The hotel parking look safe with bright lights at night. The workers are friendly. They don't have much of anything for breakfast. The hotel is 3 minutes drive to downtown and easy access to HI35.

I was a little skeptical on my stay there based on the reviews I read but it was a really great hotel. The room was big, had a couch, refrigerator, microwave...very clean and well kept...the breakfast was nice...a/c worked well...I have no complaints. Good hotel, very cheap for what I considered a great stay. I stayed at the Days Inn on S Laredo the weekend before, and while it, too, was a good experience- this place was cheaper, nicer, and closer to all the fun.

It was a great hotel for the price, It is easy to find. It is right off the interstate. A couple minutes from downtown san antonio. The room was clean but we did find a lot of hair from the cleaning crew in the room. Standard.

The rooms were comfortable enough. No conditioner! Bring your own! The motel was hard to get to because of construction, but that's not the fault of the motel. The make-your-own waffles for breakfast were pretty good. ;-)

I really recommend this hotel!!!!

They leave the A/C off in the rooms. I understand about saving energy, but when we got into the room and turned on the A/C in the middle of the summer, it never cooled down the room. I would suggest turning on the A/C in the rooms that will be used and hour or 2 before check-in time. Also, not the best neighborhood. Pool was nice, and they have a small breakfast (muffins, waffles, and toast). Okay room, but A/C problems left us uncomfortable all night.

It was perfect for us. It is minutes from downtown and about a 45 miles from San Marcos. If you need to make a quick trip to San Antonio I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was in great shape! Room was very clean, no smells, no stains. Price was low for the quality. I stayed in worse hotels for more money on this trip.

The location was convenient and the room was nice for the price. No complaints would recommend it.

Considering that we were only there one night due to business it was overall a good place to stay at. However, the fact that they do not offer any toothpaste or morning tools was quite a bothersome considering that mostly all hotels offer them.

The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was in a neighborhood that made us uncomfortable to leave our car parked outside. The breakfast in the morning consisted of coffee because we didn't want to try anything else that was there. The lobby smelled bad and there was very little selection, unlike the hotels.com description.

Nice, clean room and quiet. Freeze/fridge and microwave in room which was nice especially since there was no milk on breakfast buffet. Our only let down was the breakfast. There was OJ, coffee, toast, waffle maker and a few muffins. No milk, or knives to cut waffles. I was traveling with kids so we definitely wanted the milk. Not a true continental buffet. Take your own stuff and you can put in the fridge they supply.

I booked this hotel because it was considered "very clean" by other reviewers, and I was quite impressed by how clean and neat the room was, and it even smelled normal. Everything was in good repair, there was even a safe, small fridge, and a microwave in addition to regular amenities.For me, the hotel was conveniently located close to Fort Sam Houston, where I had to go every day; it is close to downtown San Antonio-within 10 min.

The hotel was pretty well as advertised, with the exception of the fact the bathroom and sink area smelled like animal feces. As long as you were not in that area the room was clean and comfortable.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites. It was a nice clean hotel. The employees were very nice.

When we arrived in our room my mate was immediately attacked by fleas. The office put us in another room which was without the fleas and my stay was excellent!

We have no complaints on the hotel customer service. The only thing we did not have in our room were the trash can liners, there were no clean towels in the pool area and the breakfast area is too small. But other than the mentioned, we were satisfied. Every dollar was well spent.

The only complaints I have about the room is the a/c was noisy and only cooled when it was running, the minute it stopped, it felt like the room heated up almost immediately. The other thing was that if you are headed north on I-35, you either have to drive through a less than desireable neighborhood, or go 2 miles north on the access road to turn back south. The beds are a little on the hard side. But I found the staff very friendly and accomidating. The room was very clean and roomy. My room had a refrigerator and a microwave. I'm not sure if they're in every room, but this added to the conveniencel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is between the Zoo and downtown which was ideal for us. It is right off of I35 and very easy to access from both directions. I would recommend this hotel and will stay here again when we travel to San Antonio.

This hotel is an okay hotel for the price. The breakfast consisted of only toast, two kinds of cold cereal, one waffelmaker (always busy), and juice. The pool was kind of milky looking. The neighborhood was run down and without any place to eat other than McDonalds. Outside of that, the staff was nice, the room was clean and of good size. Even with road construction the highway access was easy. It only took us five minutes to get to the Alamo and riverwalk. Overall it was okay for the price, but I have stayed in cheaper hotels that were better.

Some construction around hotel. Only one way in and out of the parking lot, Pretty inconvienant.

The EconoLodge we stayed in was excellent - exceeded our expectations for the money we paid. The room was very clean -looked like newly painted. We did not have problems going to the Riverwalk or AT&T Center for the basketball game between the SPURS and the SUNS. The continental b-fast was skimpy - at least they had waffles.

Good place to stay for the money. But, we stayed for 2 nights and no one came and cleaned the room. Had to ask for more towels twice. But overall it was ok.

For the price, this was a pretty decent hotel. No real complaints. The continental breakfast was a little lacking. Only 2 kinds of cold cereal, only white bread, no bagels or doughnuts. They did have a waffle maker, which was good. Only stayed one night, but our room was clean, and the beds comfortable.

I was not impressed with this hotel, it was in a rundown neighbothood. Access to highway was great. The breakfast was the bare minimum - only waffel and choice of 2 cereals. The sheets on one of the beds were dirty and the bed looked like it had been slept in and not changed or made up. If you are looking for a bed and a shower only, this is the place for you.

Overall this was a great hotel as I Passed through San Antonio. Highway access is not so good. The breakfast was very basic although the waffles were good. The pool was locked, although cool out and if it was heated could have been used. Room and carpeting was very clean. Overall value and condition how it should be for a hotel in the price range offered.

I stayed here on my shopping trip back from San Marcos. After arriving, we dropped off our luggage and headed for Las Canteras. Since we got back exhausted, we weren't sure about going out to downtown that evening. But, after a great rest, we were ready. This hotel exceeded my expectations for the money I paid. It was clean, just the right temperature, quiet, and the breakfast was simple enough for travelers. I loved the water pressure on the shower and the amenities the room had. Next time I go to San Antonio I plan to stay here again.

The only real problem we had was that the parking was very limited. Also if you can not sleep with noise this is not the hotel for you there is a nearby train but it did not wake nor bother us.

Nice hotel, cheap and includes breakfast, not bad at all. It is a good chance for large groups. 3 miles from Riverwalk/dowtown.
